Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Considering 608 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Consumers frequently report serious dissatisfaction with the product quality, finding items to be substandard, thin, or having wrong materials mentioned, like polyester described as pure silk. People noted substantial issues with the items not matching online advertisements, including receiving incorrect items or pieces looking quite different from the photos shown. Conversely, a small portion of people felt that the refund process was sometimes expedited once returned, with one consumer mentioning a quicker refund after sending an item back. However, some customers were dissatisfied with the return procedures, being told returns must be sent to Canada, often at the consumer's own considerable expense. Moreover, reviewers encountered complications such as having to provide photo evidence for returns or facing unclear policies regarding return shipping costs.

this is a scam company

this is a scam company, I was charged more that I should have been, the product took ages to arrive and then was a ridiculous size and the quality was not good. so then I tried to return the item and the email address given for returns just bounced back, the returns policy says you only have 3 days to make a return which I understand is not in accordance with English law and yet you cant get your email sent anyway to start the refund process. lesson learnt, I should have checked the reviews before ordering.

I wish I had read the reviews before I…

I wish I had read the reviews before I made a purchase. The product took nearly 3 weeks to arrive and now I am unable to send them back. Not the quality I felt was represented. This is not based in London and therefore misleading to the customer. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE.

I made the mistake of ordering from…

I made the mistake of ordering from Lune London only to find out the "London" has nothing to do with this company. Once I received the items I'd ordered I saw that they weren't anything like the online pictures, not even the fabric. I emailed the company to request return and refund. I sent the items (£36) to the address in Canada, saw that they'd been delivered, and sent an email to confirm my refund. Of course everything is coming back undeliverable now. Horrible experience, expensive lesson learned.

Lune London/Amarae

Lune London - now trading under "Amarae" is a front for a Chinese business; customer terms are unfair and not transparent. Goods do not match website pictures and quality is poor. Beware of the returns process which is costly and hidden until it is needed. Caveat Emptor!!!

SCAM SITE: Fake UK brand, illegal clothing, awful service

Do not buy from Lune London!

They pretend to be a premium UK-based brand, but they are a predatory drop-shipping operation shipping cheap polyester rubbish directly from China.

Trying to cancel my order before it even shipped was an absolute nightmare. Customer service deliberately delayed the process for ages just to force the package out the door.

Even my bank was unhelpful when I tried to pursue a Section 75 claim because the company plays logistics games to trap your money.

When the clothes finally arrived, the quality was shocking. Worse, they had deliberately cut the clothing labels out of the garments. This is completely illegal under UK Textile Labelling Regulations. They do this to hide the 100% cheap polyester composition and mask the true origin of the clothes.

To top it all off, their customer support email server now completely bounces back as a dead domain.

They take your money, send illegal goods, and then completely shut down their communication channels.

Avoid this company at all costs.

I had an experience just like…

I had an experience just like everybody here. My advice is don’t waste your time emailing back and forth with them trying to negotiate a fair return and refund (it doesn’t work) and don’t pay to send the item back at great expense to Canada or Germany. They won’t supply you with a free returns label and you will lose the money you paid to ship the item too, even though you were told it was free shipping when you purchased. Please just contact your bank immediately and initiate a chargeback like I did - which I have just received. Also, if you are wondering why their website has suddenly disappeared, it is now called Amarae.

Terrible company please do not buy

Terrible experience. Do not to purchase anything from this Lune London. My experience was extremely negative The customer service is appalling and although they accept that the purchase I made was not up to their standards, I have been jumping through hoops to merely try and return the item. I have still not managed to get a resolution to the difficulties and the problem that I have with the product

The stitching is appalling. The label has been cut off and it is definitely not as described And when, I contacted the company to ask for a return label. They inform me that this is not possible to get return label and that the only way I can return the item is return it to Canada at my expence. I am absolutely outraged at the fact that the company is misleading and getting away with this what has happened to consumer rights.
I'm not happy with the stupid blouse and I only want a refund. Paying 50 pounds for a garment that is substandard is simply not good enough, and I really don't understand how a company is able to get away with it? I actually feel really stupid buying from Lune London they appears to be getting away with downright theft. Poor customer service .

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - Please take heed

Please take heed, do not use this company, they are total fraudsters. The quality of products are despicable and not worth your money. Avoid like the plague. Please! I purchased products, I have returned goods and have no money returned. Lune have not longer a website but trading under a different name. I intent to get my refund and charge all my time even if it takes years - just out of principle. I will also ask my bank to return the transaction.

Oh dear

Oh dear, I wish I had visited this site before ordering.
My shirt delivery was heavily delayed. I was eventually notified that the courier had sent it back because the package was damaged. I then had a series of farcical communications with Lune AI 'assistants' who were programmed to believe that I had made a return.
A substitute was eventually sent. It is supposed to be large but is too small. The colour is disappointing compared with the rich blue of the photo. I cannot find any return instructions.

Awful all round

Awful quality. Product nothing like the image. Very difficult to get a refund, and it required international shipping costs which were almost the same as the cost of the item. Long delay in getting my money back and still haven’t. AI generated customer service responses. Would absolutely not recommend and hope others read these reviews before buying from them. Stay well clear

Beware this company

I wish I had read the reviews on Trust Pilot before I placed an order with this company.

I ordered 2 pairs of stretch fabric shoes on 11 July. When the order was confirmed by email, I noticed that the amount charged to my card was more than the order total. I queried it by email and was told - by a bot I believe - that the additional charge was for shipping. I queried again as their website said shipping was free and the order confirmation had the shipping cost as zero. I got another email from their "support" which was gibberish, 6251 characters in length and obviously AI generated. They refused to refund the shipping charge.

I queried the shipping charge a 3rd time and was told I had selected a “Shipping Protection” charge at checkout. This is a complete lie. I emailed yet again and the bot changed the story again – back to a shipping charge.

When I got my order, I must say the quality of the shoes for the price was poor. They were wrapped in plastic bags – no boxes. If I had seen the same shoes in a shop on the high street I would not have paid much for them.

One pair was just OK, but the other pair had very deep folds/dents in the fabric such that the front uppers were almost folded in half. The dents pressed on my toes. I emailed and told them that the shoes were unwearable and I wanted to return them. I sent three photographs to evidence my complaint.

I was offered 10% discount plus a 50% voucher or to return the shoes at my expense to Canada, even though they were shipped from the Netherlands. I had thought I was buying from a UK company until I read the reviews on Trust Pilot.

As the shoes are unwearable, I told them I expected not to have to pay for the return. Their website advertised free return shipping if goods were damaged or incorrect. They then said my complaint would be reviewed and asked me to choose one of my three photographs to submit for the review. Their “review system” can only accept one photograph?! Absolutely ridiculous. I have heard nothing more from them.

Never have I come across such despicable tactics from an online trader. To be honest, I don’t expect to get my money back from them. I will try to get my bank to do a chargeback.

Their Lune London website has now gone and they appear to be now trading from France as Amarae

Quality of product was poor and crumpled for price and made basically.

Quality of product was poor. Asked for refund. The customer services people initially replied quickly but as soon as I said that I was returning the item it all changed. I said that I would be requesting a refund, the postage for return to Canada would cost me £20 and I would therefore not be using Lune again... all my emails could not be delivered! I was not rude and accepted that I would lose approx £25 on cost of item due to postage. I was trying to send a copy of the Royal Mail receipt to them as they requested but it was impossible to get in contact after that. I am still hoping I will receive my refund but I have no idea. I will take this matter further.

Complete scam

Complete scam! avoid this company. Items took Weeks to arrive and when they arrived they were terrible quality for the amount paid . Nowhere does the website state these are shipped from overseas. You only find this out when you try and return them and it’s going to cost you more than the items are worth. They offer you a 10% refunded a voucher to purchase again, obviously I do not want to do that leather boots purchased what arrived with flimsy plastic. Do not buy from this store if I could give them a zero I would.

Very poor quality pretend suede fabric…

Very poor quality pretend suede fabric boots which bore no resemblance to the AI photo. Contacted customer services within 14 days of delivery but they refused a refund despite assuring that refunds would be made. Appalling product and customer service.

Absolutely shocking experience

Absolutely shocking experience. Parcel didn’t arrive, made a complaint, then my email seems to have been blocked when I send information they requested to investigate the missing delivery, so can’t get any communication with them. DO NOT waste your money, this company is a scam and very poor to no customer service.
