Anna C. customer services up to the usual not being very helpful again. All I want to do is change from physical sim to esim. When I try, I get an error.

Abysmal support, I ordered an esim which cost me 30 euros, the esim does not work, it shows 003530000000. I called the support line and they gave me a ticket number. Now I cannot get through to support , not even to get a refund.....

I had a really great experience with Lyca’s service. They are very professional, efficient, and truly good at what they do. The whole process was smooth and whenever I had questions, their team was always ready to help.
A special thank you to Naresh from Dubai Lyca Team and Sai from Dublin, Ireland Lyca Team. Both of them were extremely helpful and guided me through the entire process step by step. They were patient, clear in their explanations, and made sure everything was handled properly.
I really appreciate their support and would definitely recommend Lyca to others looking for reliable and helpful service.

I don't think I've encountered a more incompetent phone service in my life.
End of Jan - my eSim started to have issues.
I tried to make contact to rectify to which the solution was to buy another esim and transfer the old esim to the new esim, even though I had already paid for the esim (Make it make sense).
Anyway, after haggling with the agent, I managed to get a refund for any topped up credit. Was like pulling teeth, but I got it.
The signal problems continued and Ive been trying ever since to move to another provider but since the signal problems are so bad, I can't receive calls or texts to get away from Lyca.
So today I've been contacting Lyca - was presented with the same solution again.
This time, I actually went for it, and low and behold, sure I can't even transfer my esim now.
It's incredulous, a complete waste of money for a service you wont even get and to get away from them, even more money.
I may have to just get an entirely new number altogether at this point.

The prices can look good, but the actual service is very poor, and the customer service nonexistent.
I've been using an eSim for their "Ireland Plus" (including 30 GB data) for the past two weeks. Every day, I've had trouble with the data, ranging from very slow connections to no connections at all. Emails to the customer service (cs AT lycamobile.ie) have gone unanswered. Overall, this has been a very diappointing expereince.
I had used Lyca several times over the past few years, but this is the first time that I have had such major issues. I hope that they can resolve them, and return to the better provider that they were. Until then, I recommend not using them.

I signed up online for an esim , which I couldnt get to work and found I was double charged for. When I got through to their helplines I was told I had to email the issue which I did and several emails later I failed to get a single response beyond an acknoledgement. Despite having no service I didnt reliase I was still being charged monthly. I couldn't stop the payments as I had paid by debit card and not direct debit. Ended up having to cancel my debit card to stop them. Overall the experience cost me €128. I reported it as fraud to my bank but didnt get anywhere as I had signed up.

Absolutely not tourist-friendly.
I bought two eSIMs only for mobile data for myself and my wife while traveling in Ireland, and they put me on a subscription without me confirming that I actually wanted it to be recurring on the website when buying the eSIMs.
After that, even after leaving the country, they charged me for months, and I was unable to cancel the subscription because “I do not know the phone numbers and I can’t provide the whole list of numbers I called.” I did not call anyone while there and was unable to reconnect the eSIMs a second time via the QR code I received at the time of purchasing the eSIMs, just to see what my phone number was.
Their customer support is very, very bad; they kept asking the same questions over and over again without even reading what I was writing to them. I told them many times that I CAN’T re-add the eSIMs to see their phone numbers, and they just kept asking me to provide the phone numbers for about a month, so I eventually ended up blocking my credit card to avoid any further charges.

Shocking in every single sense of the word. You have been warned. Woeful, abysmal, and goodbye.

I have a National S 3M plan. Everything works fine. My family also purchased two of these plans on January 27.01. 2026. 29.01.2026 they stopped working, the internet and calls disappeared. I contacted technical support. They sent me instructions. 1. Please restart the handset.
2. Then latch onto our network in manual mode. Lycamobile Services/SIM Toolkit: Mode: Manual: Ireland
3. Then Settings -> Phone Settings -> Network -> Network Selection -> Manual -> Lycamobile -> EIR.
It didn't help. They asked me to answer questions. I answered. They sent a letter 4.02.2026.
Dear Customer,
Thank you for getting touch with us.
We would like to inform you that we have initiated your network issue with our concerned technical team.
Your Ticket ID is: 110492102.
Today is 06.02.2026 but there is no connection.
My family is forced to stay on GoMo. They don't want to use it anymore Lyca. 42 euros were wasted.

I am moving my numbers to 48. But they are unsuccessful. The 48 agent told me that the lycamobile rejected my port out requests. When I talked to lycamobile agents after they knew I am going to port out my numbers they just ignored me. We will never never never go with lycamobile again!!

Continued to take money from my account when I got an esim. Even after I contacted them and they said they removed the automatic payments they still kept taking my funds.
Dont fall for the cheap prices.
They are scammers!!!

My wife and I activated the national S 3M plan. It worked for two days, and then the internet went out and I couldn't make calls. Customer support couldn't help me at all. They stole 42 euros from me. There's no connection. I'm very unhappy with this provider. I don't recommend it to anyone.

Lyca Mobile is an absolute joke of a company. Their customer service is rude, aggressive, and completely useless. The agents talk to you like they’re doing you a favor instead of helping with a problem THEY caused. I have never been treated so badly by any telecom company before.
They are also ridiculously expensive, and on top of that they steal money through hidden charges. The most outrageous part is that if you want to get your old number back, they force you to pay for a brand-new number first. That is pure nonsense and feels like a scam. No proper explanation, no transparency — just “pay or we won’t help you.”
Nothing works properly, and when you complain, customer service becomes even ruder instead of fixing the issue. They don’t listen, they don’t care, and they definitely don’t respect their customers.
This company is greedy, dishonest, and completely unprofessional. I regret every penny I spent with Lyca.
DO NOT USE LYCA MOBILE. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND YOUR SANITY.

I was a Lyca Mobile customer for over six years, and my experience toward the end was extremely disappointing and frustrating. I selected one star only because there is no option to rate lower.
For the last two years, I experienced continuous network issues where my phone frequently displayed “No Network.” During these times, I had no incoming or outgoing calls, messages, or mobile data. I initially used a physical SIM and later switched to an eSIM in an effort to resolve the problem, but there was no improvement. Restarting the device would sometimes restore the network for about five minutes, after which it would randomly drop again.
I contacted Lyca Mobile multiple times via email and chatbot, but the responses were either severely delayed or completely unhelpful. When I reached out to the service centre directly, the experience was even worse — the representatives were rude, dismissive, and unprofessional.
I was repeatedly asked to change various settings on my phone, which I followed exactly as instructed. Despite this, the issue persisted with no proper resolution or escalation. After spending a significant amount of time chasing support and getting nowhere, I had no option but to switch providers.
I moved to Three Ireland, and the difference is obvious — the service is faster, more reliable, and cheaper, clearly proving the issue was never my device but Lyca Mobile’s network and customer support.
Overall, this was a pathetic experience, especially after being a loyal customer for six years. Reliable network service and basic customer respect should be the bare minimum. I would strongly advise others to avoid Lyca Mobile if they want dependable service.

Great until you need customer service. Their SIM cards randomly fail and then you are billed 10Mb/s. Customer service don’t speak English and frustrate you with redundant requests such as “proof of payment.
If you are going to use them then buy the unlimited plan so at least you won’t have to talk to the morons that pass as customer service agents .
In Lyca’s response they call this identity verification but it’s not that because the prepayment was for a year and I’d already passed all the identity checks given the phone number is an obvious 2FA and already passed the “which numbers do you call frequently” questions. It’s either a “kick it down the road and I hope they die of boredom” tactic or the script that they follow is so protracted that it yields the same result
