Horrible customer support.
I chose this provider because they had a new joiner offer which was fine for the first month and then I randomly recieved a message on a Saturday evening that they failed to renew my plan and that I should contact customer support. I tried paying manually and THERE IS NO WAY to manually pay for a plan!!?
Of course, there is no support on Saturday evening or Sunday so it auto cancelled my plan.
On Monday, the customer support said they can't do anything about this because the plan failed to auto renew and asked me to buy a new plan.
So I now have to pay twice the amount for the SAME plan by no fault of my own. Which seems like a scam.
I am trying to switch away from this horrible provider and they dont even have proper support for that. I have been on wait for hours now and there is no response.

I bought an unlimited sim with Eu roaming. I cross the border a lot into Northern Ireland only to discover it is not included in the eu roaming, despite it saying so on the package when I bought it. Lycamibile seem to be the only Irish carrier who do not include uk in eu roaming.
Obviously I did not renew the plan as it was not as sold or fit for purpose.

Lyca Mobile is one of the worst mobile operators I’ve ever used. Even for €10, it’s not worth it at all.
The network is extremely unreliable: constant signal drops, days with no service at all, no data, no calls. Customer support is useless — they close tickets without fixing anything, give copy-paste answers, and pretend the issue is resolved when it clearly isn’t.
On top of that, they try to charge extra money to “fix” problems caused by their own network. No accountability, no real support, no solution.
Honestly, it’s better to pay a bit more and go with a real mobile operator. This feels like a pseudo-operator with poor infrastructure and even worse customer service.
I do not recommend Lyca Mobile to anyone.

I have been disconected since the 28th of december, despite numerous calls to customer support, I have still no manage to get my connection back...and its the 10th of january!!! I have follow the instructions I barely could understand from the support staff and nothing is working. They advice me to get a new sim card and they would transfer my existing mobile number to the new one...and its not working either. The suppory staff is rude and have been hanging up the call several times as they have time allocated to each customer of 8 minutes...I would and will recommend to noone to get near Lyca.

Worst customer service. Been without network for 10 days still not resolved. Trying to chat with an agent and they take ages to respond and after that without notice I’m back talking to a robot.

I dont usually leave review but this company has pushed to my new limit. I purchased the long term prepaid phone plan. During check out there is an error on card payment decline. I was confident the card worked fine, hence i tried again, still getting the same error. Before trying the 3rd time, i kept checking if the transactions had already gone thru. There wasn't any order confirmation for the 1st but the 2nd transaction gone thru with order confirmation after a few minutes. I checked my credit card transaction and to my surprise it was charged twice. I tried to contact Lyca mobile thru their chat support. Waited for 30-40mins, and when the chat gone thru, they gave me less than 30second to reply and ended my chat. I tried again and later just auto ended without going thru an agent after waited another 30mins, twice. Thereafter, I called the call center. After waited for almost an hour, I was already feeling hopeless and no longer interested to be their customer. I asked the girl to help to process refund for both transactions. She was helpful and did what i asked for. A month later, no refund, no news. I wrote email to do the refund follow up with Case ID given. Did at least 4 emails with a spread of a month, no news at all. I called the call center again, the girl reassured me someone will contact me within the day or give me an update within 24 hours. NOTHING! I wrote to their facebook on my refund issue on the advertisement, the chat team contacted me, again same empty promise, they will prioritize my case but i have heard nothing, no refund received after 2 months. I even said i am going to ACCC as it clearly stated remedy to be provided within 14 days, they dont even care about ACCC, what more people who are asking for refund. This kind of company should not be in Australia at all. I do hope ACCC see this.

The offer is a disgraceful lie Once you cross 100gb u are capped at 150kb per second, which is useless, obviously this is hidden in the Terms and Conditions page, do not deal with this trash scamming company, disgrace

My unlimited plan was for €9.75 a month for a year, it was an offer I claimed. I had no money in my bank account and it told me to contact customer services. I did and they told me that I can no longer pay €9.75 since I had no money in my bank and I had to move to the normal plan. They said it was in the terms and conditions of the plan which I could not find anywhere, and I had the money in the bank and called them the very same day. Now they are trying to get me to pay more. Ridiculous, I moved one month ago and it looks like I’ll be moving back and leaving Lyca.

Got their eSim a bit over a month ago, transferred my number to them (The biggest mistake I made).
If you do transfer your number, make sure to order a SIM card and register your number on their website.
I am very computer literate, but somehow missed all of these extra steps.
So you can imagine my despair when I had to restart my iPhone (due to connection issues with this network), and lost my eSim and my number forever.
This part gets worse because all of my iCloud and ALL of my accounts were connected to my phone number, which I don't have.
Rang their customer service, God knows how many times, kept giving me step by step to accomplish and telling me to ring back.
Finally, when I tried it all, they still couldn't recover my phone number, asking me for the 8 most-called numbers from my phone (how do I know them if my phone is not working)???
Finally, they said to send an email to their customer service, which will take 5-7 working days to respond to.
At that point, I just gave up, took a new number from my old provider, and am now waiting another 4 days for my iCloud to be transferred to the new phone number.
Call centre people were mostly nice, and some of them a bit rude (coming from a Slavic woman who is used to directness)
Even when I got a SIM card from the local shop, it said it expires in a year.
If you are planning to use this provider for the long term, my recommendation is NOT!
I used eSims before, and it served me well while travelling abroad.
Don't make the same mistake as I have!
