Fantastic service from the team at Maben, changing of the vehicle to suit the ferry was not problem and when collecting the vehicle it was quick and easy (as was the return) this coupled with honest and reasonable price made the whole experience 5 star, keep it up.

Hired a Ford Ranger for two days upon the recommendation of Judd Brothers. I expected a clean vehicle with a full tank of fuel. Instead I was given a vehicle that absolutely reeked of wet dog, mud stains all over the seats, dirt in the cup holders and one working brake light for which I got pulled over and narrowly missed a vehicle defect notice from the police. The police were very understanding but also found substandard (not illegal) front tyres on the vehicle which were covered in deep cuts all over with a deep cut on the wall of one tyre. It cost me £238.00 for two days for a substandard vehicle. Had to buy air fresheners to make the smell tolerable and buy and install a brake light, the cost of which were refunded. I voiced my complaint upon returning the vehicle and was assured that the manager would call in order to obtain a partial refund, but I have still not heard from him after waiting nearly a month for his call. Extremely unprofessional and unsatisfactory customer service although the ladies I spoke to upon hiring the vehicle, were both very pleasant. I would expect more from such a company that was highly recommended, instead I remain bitterly disappointed.

We hired two 7.5ton vans from them. They were very efficient, accomodated our requirements perfectly, and responded quickly to queries. Would definitely go to them first if we ever need to hire again in that area.

Booked the vehicle months in advance, from first enquiry to collection and then drop off. Service from the team was very good, from start to finish.

Laben provided us with 4 x 17 Seat Minibuses & allowed us to return out of hours on a Sunday.

After leaving clothing in the vehicle they were kind enough to have it sent back.

Brilliant company to do business, all staff are very helpful and go above and beyond to help .

I used Maben to hire a car at very short notice, when holiday transport arrangements suddenly fell through. The staff were incredibly helpful in every way - sorting a car at short notice, delivering it to our accommodation, agreeing to collect it from a different destination and even allowing an extra couple of hours rental without charging for an extra day. The £250 deposit charged at the time of booking was promptly refunded at the end of the rental ... and the car was great too! Would definitely use them again.

Friendly and helpful staff made this hire an easy and pleasant experience. The vehicle was spotless (indeed, the inner flooring of the van was possibly too polished for the unwary!) and swiftly readied. I hired it for a full day, but as I finished my task before lunch the booking length was kindly amended to reflect the shorter time and cheaper hire cost. Much appreciated!

I’ve been using Maben since they started in a small outlet on the Highway in New Inn.
Their service then was excellent and since then they have grown into a much bigger company but the quality of service has only got better. The fleet of vehicles is top class!
I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Maben whenever you need to hire a vehicle.

Needed a long wheel base closed van immediately ...was able to book a vehicle straight away with no fuss. Booked it initially for three days but then only required it for two ... again this was no problem. The vehicle itself was almost brand new and was immaculate.
I wish our own vehicles were kept that well.... Thank you

What a fab team from start to finish. Booking online was easy, followed by a friendly phone call to confirm booking. On arriving to collect the van was greeted with friendly team who couldn’t have been more helpful. Returned van and received deposit back straight away. Highly recommend. Would not go anywhere else. Loved the van. Didn’t want to give it back.
