I made an order over a year ago to through the website directly. I have not received anything, nor have I gotten my money back. I'm trying to contact the company and will remove this review if I get a refund or the items I ordered.

Why all the bad reviews?

I honestly cant believe these reviews. I brought 12 realms when it was a kickstarter and only just opened it. The contents were really good condition but was missing the pack of item cards. I messaged them Alex sent out a pack to me with no questions asked straight away.... excellent customer service!

Don't do it

Mage Company is known for spending their customers money on business trips, just to stall the delivery of the paid product over a year. Ponzi scheme / scammers, don't waste your money

Pre-order expected in Nov- Still no delivery 7 months later!!!!

Pre-ordered some itemsin Oct 2017, which were supposed to be shipped in Nov 2017.
They sent an email saying their stock should arrive at their warehouse in Nov 24-25th before customs clearance etc and then shipping. A slight delay but nothing major
Dec 4th - apparently the goods have cleared customs and is in their warehouse.
Dec 16th - now the goods need to be sent to a UK distributer, but this wont happen until after the X-mas holidays........
Jan 4th 2018 - Email to say shipping will commence from the 15th Jan
2nd Feb - Still nothing , but my order has been marked as "Processing"
...
...
18th Mar - After chasing them up i get a reply saying they are waiting for the items to arrive at their office so they can ship from 2 sites at once. They estimate a few weeks
27th Apr - My order is not marked as "Complete"
15th May - Still no items- But apparently their website was hacked, but my order is still in their system, and is undergoing its "final label" whatever that means
...
June 15h - Still no items and no replies to any emails either.

Its now mid June and still no sign of anything. They claim issues with their supply factory, but over

Read the rest of the reviews. Avoid Mage.

Read the rest of the reviews and avoid buying anything from Mage. Full stop.

I'm actually surprised by how aweful my experience was; I really didn't think any company could perform so poorly. Other reviews note Mage not allowing people to pay for independent shipping. I suspect it has nothing to do with not wanting people to pay twice but rather that Mage has sold off some inventory to try to pay for shipping, hoping to eventually make money to replace and ship the reminder. Regardless, its all bad. I kinda wish i could give them 2 stars (i ~never give 1 star reviews) but I just can't justify it

FWIW, I am one of the few that actually got what I paid for and I still feel this way.

Dismal

Just AVOID. A truly dreadful company that won't even consent to backers paying extra to the shipping company to get their sleeves delivered. Presumably they don't want to damage their position by having backers say they needed to pay for shipping twice. So it looks like they put their company's interests before those of their backers. Additionally they refuse to release detailed financial or fulfilment information to make clear what the position is. I hope that nobody backs any future projects they offer. Mage doesn't in my opinion deserve to trade. I can't say it's likely I will change my opinion even in the unlikely event that I do eventually see my sleeves.

They'll take your money alright

They'll take your money alright, but forget about any delivery.

I joined a Kickstarter for their card sleeves, spent almost 400$ on them.

Unfortunately, this turned out to be essentially a fraud. The sleeves in question were produced and delivered (to the fulfillment company) about half a year ago, shipping costs were charged, then nothing happened.

This company took about 200000$ from backers (visible on Kickstarter, just search for "Mage Sleeves") and has barely delivered anything (There are, supposedly, a handful of backers who actually received their product, but the overwhelming majority of backers have received NOTHING)

Having spent the money on who knows what (it certainly wasn't spent on fulfillment), they're now trying to find new victims in order to fulfill the obligations we (and supporters of their other projects) already paid for.

Even though every negative review lowers the chances of us eventually getting our product (before they land in jail or dissappear to a tropical island), I believe that potential future victims of this company need to be warned.

They'll take your money, but forget about getting what you paid for.

Avoid at all costs

Company with multiple campaigns either undelivered or delayed beyond reasonable amounts with constant excuses and to make things worth the owner blames other companies and the customers themselves when questions are asked.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Constant lying and insulting costumers

I am one of Mage‘s Kickstarter backers. The project is now delayed for almost a year and Updates are rare. Hundreds of times Alex (the owner, who is very active in the comment section) has been verifiable lied to his backers. For weeks now I received the same answer: „your delivery will be shipped next week.“ After writing about my frustration in the comment section, he insulted me and said my parcel had been shipped long ago. When asking for a tracking number I did not get a answer.

Today I haven’t received anything except an insult, so I can’t say anything about the product. But I would never ever order anything from that kind of company (or person) again! Constant lying and insulting costumers, as well as a huge delay are my experiences with Mage Company

Company doesn't have control over its business

Company simply doesn't have control over its business.
Doesn't know when a product will ship, it provides customers with no info whatsoever.
You can see how they operate on Kickstarter, many projects and on every single one of them they have problems during the shipping process and delivery date.
DO NOT buy anything from this company.

I am one of the "forgotten 25"

I am one of the "forgotten 25". My package came Feb. 2nd. (Chicago) FINALLY! The seams on the sleeves in general are slightly WEAKER than FFG. Why 2 stars? At least they came I guess.

Called Mage because they make your product disappear.

I have waited 10 months over the estimated delivery for my items from this company. Any form of contact sent is met with more ETAs that fall through.

Please do not use this company. Look into any product they make, it always arrives months late.

Awful

I have been waiting over a year for my card sleeves. Every time I have complained I have just received abuse and threats from Alexander, the owner. Avoid.
