Only opened an account but the support team is quick and helpful, even as a free (trial) user. The service though seems very solid, and the web interface is easy to navigate. Have not yet tried it on mobile yet.

Our company is quite happy with Mailfence services. The reason why we chose their services is because their servers are hosted in Belgium, and you can say that the country's law is very capable for protecting the individuals/ enterprises' privacy... only a Belgian court order may force them to release data... And in my brother's experience (who lives there), the legal system of Belgium is one of the greatest in Europe and in the world.
Also, Their customer service is top-notch.

i've multiple email accounts with different providers. being in an underdeveloped country paying for services in euro/dollar turns out to be really expensive that's why i try to get free services with best features i can found. hence i write this review keeping this in mind.

i would try to compare mailfence with two famous secure email providers i.e protonmail and tutanota (from consumer point of view)

comparison criteria -
a- storage
b- design
c- force to upgrade
d- other features

a-storage
protonmail provides 500 mb of email storage and cloud storage is yet to come in protonmail. as compard to protonmail tutanota provides 1 GB of email storage with is enough for me. on the other hand mailfence too provide 500 mb of email storage however, it also provides 500 mb of cloud storage as well. this is not much either but i use cloud to share small files and it is kind of working for me right now. i hope as mailfence grows it increase the cloud storage as well. as a matter of fact yahoo provides 1 TB of free cloud storage!

b- design
beauty lies in the eyes of the viewer. all three email providers are designed differently for different purposes. however, i find mailfence to be more organised in what they offer. for me the design of mailfence is more eye pleasing. it's more organised.

c- force to upgrade
now here protonmail gives me the most pain. even some basic features for ex- details in contacts requires you to purchase premium plan. on the other hand those features are provided for free in tutanota and mailfence. mailfence too sometimes force me to upgrade for some basic features. in this regard tutanota wins!

d- other features
as i've already said mailfence provides cloud storage however low it is. apart from that features are more or less the same in all three emails. but for free accounts mailfence and tutanota are better than protonmail.

e- cross platform support
protonmail and tutanota both have app and web support. mailfence does not have app support. however, a beta is under testing, i hope it comes soon. people are asking this for years!

i'm optimistic in the regard that over time mailfence will improve and this can only happen when more and more people will start use use this service.

I use Mailfence in both professional and personal life and I feel secure. Every email I send is encrypted and I’m sure I’m not the product of it. The layout is a bit old fashioned though but it’s easy to get around it.

Do you know why mailfence.com rises high above all other platforms? It is not because they are the most private and secure. (But, in my experience they are among the top 2 most private and secure available.) It's not because they give an elegant user experience. (They do.) It's not because the graphic design is clear, streamlined, elegant, easy-on-the-eyes. (It is.)

It's because behind mailfence.com are actual real humans. Human beings who care about their company and product and who are ready to help you.

I had one weird experience that felt like a mouse-takeover while I was typing in mailfence.com. I wrote to them. They got back to me immediately and were extremely sincere about getting to the bottom of it. This had never happened on mailfence.com before. Could I send them a screen shot of the weirdness? (Yes.)

As it turned out, it was a mouse-takeover on my macbook. For 7 years now a brother-in-law who is a lawyer turned mediator (largely for government construction issues) has been doing terrible, terrible things to my life and the life of my late mother. Extensive and increasingly sophisticated Cyberstalking and computer crime has driven the strange and wayward mission.

Apple has only been just so helpful. Apple could learn a thing or two from mailfence.com about the simply beauty of transparency; its natural and organic way of compelling customer loyalty.

Mailfence.com has shown that the human connection is still far superior to any other. This elegant, emerging start-up has proven that a little transparency can go a long way.

Mailfence: I'm placing my bet on you.

I enjoy Mailfence because it is easy to use and accessible, provides some great privacy features, and gathers all the tools in one place (instant messaging, calendars, documents etc...). Also, their customer support service is very responsive and helpful.
