We used MCF solicitors when moving into our new home and had Anna Betteridge supporting us throughout.
Anna was very professional, kept us up to date with information and was consistent throughout the process.
The whole process has been very stressful but Anna has kept at it until she was satisfied and made sure we was at all times.
Easy to contact either via email or telephone.
When speaking to Anna over the phone you can tell that she’s a lovely person and always polite. We want to thank Anna for getting us through the move. She is a credit to the company.

On a slight negative point, I feel that receptionist could improve as a few times I got told that Anna was in training however Anna was contacting me via email and I didn’t get put through to Anna. This is the only negative I have, maybe it was miscommunication between staff.

When purchasing our house we chose MCF to act as our conveyancing solicitors, we chose a house that unfortunately we had to walk away from due to various issues that Anna and her team were able to highlight by the due diligence carried out.
We quickly found another property and was able to transfer the mortgage over, Anna then worked tirelessly to get the purchase to completions all whilst keeping us updated at regular intervals.

I would highly recommend, Anna and MCF and we will certainly be using them again for the next house purchase.

You work, if you are still there, at a shyster firm if solicitors. Mrs Pashley, your attitude leaves a lot to be desired.

Mr Johnson's letter which if I remember correctly was full of inaccuracies & did not address the mistake Foy's made. You made a mistake and refused to correct it. Julie Grasely was involved. You should stand by your mistake. An independent firm of solicitors looked at the case and confirmed you made a mistake....however you wriggled out of your responsibility by invoking time limitation....

Despite having been a frequent Foy customer we (& others) are appalled by the total lack of accountability Mr Johnson & Mrs Pashley have shown.

They clearly do not value good customer service. Not even an apology. At least Mr Linden & Mr Taylor did show interest & did try to rectify Julie's mistake but unfortunately for us, both left your firm.

Mrs Pashley's attitude to her firm's mistake is to point us in the direction of the out of time statute limitation to wash her hands of it all. How very unprofessional.

We are taking this further.

I have used Malcolm C Foy & Co for multiple house purchases/sales now. My most recent experience was as excellent as previous encounters. The house sale process was acted on quickly when they were instructed. Clear infornation was provided up front regarding who my appointed staff member would be and costs. Communication bia phone or email were responded to on the same day or within 24 hours. From reception staff to Anna Betteridge, and secretary Pam, we received kind and friendly service. Would recommend!

Anna never took longer than a day to respond to any of my calls or emails , she did her best to ensure we moved our side as quick as possible which I was very glad of, I have just used her services to buy a house and I am selling one soon and will use Anna again

I dealt with Anna Betteridge & Pamela Bowes who were absolutely fantastic to deal with and made my house sale a simple and smooth process. We had some challenges with the 3rd party solicitor, but Anna & Pamela really handled the situation brilliantly. Used this firm for conveyancing for past 20 years. Last sale took 6 months. Communication poor and hoped it had improved but after finally getting hold of someone to reassure me about a new instruction decided to go elsewhere.
