best prices and great selection
great selection, value and quality...best I could find with much searching...very happy with my purchase and quick delivery...
Perfect deal. Perfect product.
I ordered a 7-14 2.8 Olympus. I paid 200$ less than the market and I got it in less than one week. What can I say more? Perfect package. Everything was alright. 🙂

I was a bit skeptical because of some of the online reviews but I had no issues at all, received quick delivery and the items in the bundle have been quite useful. You need to do your due diligence as with anything and ask about warranties etc. Once I confirmed the warranty on my Canon F4.0 II 70-200 IS lens I ordered and haven't looked back. The price was unbeatable anywhere.

Purchased a high end Nikon camera on…
Purchased a high end Nikon camera on line. Came as a kit. Camera bag was a joke and way too small for the camera. A flash unit was supposed to come with it as well. It never did. Called customer service who advised it is on back order and would be sent out to me as soon as it is back in stock. Never received it or any follow up. Has been a year and half now Customer service is of very little importance to this company but the sale is. So be weary of purchasing from this company. I gave up calling them as the items in the kit were very poor quality so the flash likely was too. Will not deal with company for any further photography needs

The cam I originally wanted was out of stock but the helpful staff directed me to a cam that I have since fallen in love with. Thanks guys!

The camera came faster than I expected the service was exceptional 👌
Never again!
Sent me a dirty used lens instead of a new one, took them a few months to process the refund. Never again!
Maple Leaf photo is amazing
Maple Leaf photo is amazing. I ordered a camera kit for my son for Christmas and the service was top notch. They even called me after I placed the order to make sure I knew what I was getting and had everything I needed.
5 stars
I got an amazing deal on my products and they were delivered in a timely manner. Highly recommend.
They sell products not in inventory!
They advertise products they don't have in stock. Here's a bit of help:
1. Call them at their listed phone number: 1-514-6673569.
2. Enter extension 1314 or 1317 or 1318 or 1323.
3. Ask the person who picks up the phone DIRECTLY whether they have the item you want.
If you do not enter the extension number you will be on the line FOR HOURS.
Hope this helps!
Stay calm
I have purchased a number of products from Maple Leaf Photo with the expected result. I expected a good price, slow delivery and bad customer service.
This is a grey market seller. My advice would be:
- buy because of a substantial saving over other sellers
- don't buy a product for a use that is time sensitive
- stay away from customer service unless you absolutely have to interact with them.
Do yourself a favour, save some money and don't get bent out of shape because of the other aggravations involved with buying from here.
Selling products they don't have in inventory!
I ordered a audio interface from their website, attracted by their "good price". I then received an email asking me to contact them to confirm the transaction. After having been transfered 2 times and repeated the reason of my call, they told me that they would call me in 24-48 hours to see if they could get the product for me, without any guarantee that I would receive the product. Based on this bad customer expecience, I don't trust them and I cancelled the order.
If I could give a zero star I would
Orders a Canon SLR camera kit for $1.3k which was supposely in stock and to be delivered 5-8 days later. We are the 9th day and still no sign of any tracking number.
Contacted the seller several times and Mehdi keeps telling me the "order is in process and will be shiped as soon as possible" without any explanations.
Also advertised as a Canadian company, but funds were pulled on credit card from a cie in New Jersey. Office in Dorval, Qc is empty. No photo business there! To add to the suspicions, I was charged taxes and nowhere I can find the tax numbers on the invoice. This is illegal in Canada! So another strike against this seller.
Unprofessional customer support and give blunt answer totally not putting their customer in confidence.
I now canceled the order and expecting a full refund. Don't wanna see what it would be like with a warranty claim if the camera would fail...!
Will give some time to process refund. If nothing happen in the next few days, will open a dispute with credit card company and report to the RCMP fraud department.
DO NOT SHOP THERE!
Update February 16 2021 - They issued a tracking number from UPS 6 days ago. Called to get the order cancelled and they refused claiming "it's on the way". Nothing has moved since those 6 days.
DO NOT SHOP HERE.
Ordered a lens online. Maple Leaf accepted my money. I reached out after a few days without a confirmation of shipping. They then cancelled my order because they didn't have the lens.
Very disappointed in the customer service. I lost precious time on a time sensitive project that I needed this lens.
DO NOT SHOP HERE.
Not a Canadian company
I ordered a lens that is in stock on the website and paid for shipping. 3 weeks later and nothing arrives. I called them up and someone from New York answered and only offered a refund. This is not a Canadian company. They are and LLC which is an American designation. He had no alternatives to offer. Do not give them money.
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED
Looks like I got the same experience as most.... Ordered a Nikkor 14-24 f2.8 from their website and it said "IN STOCK" I paid the extra $28 for expedited shipping 3-5 days. After the order was placed I received an email stating to call for faster shipping, so I did, I got a guy on the phone who said it would be shipped out right away and I would get an email with tracking info shortly. A couple of days later I had not received such an email so I called the same number back and was told that the reason I have not got an email is because it had not shipped yet... and the run around began! the next day I get an email with a link to UPS for tracking, through this I can clearly see they started the shipping process but the package had not yet arrived at UPS Facility... this was just a feeble attempt to appease me... and again after a couple more days the UPS tracking had not changed... So I phoned again... this time I was told it was held up at the US CAN boarder in customs... When I said "Your website said it was in stock" I was hung-up on. So I phoned back when I finally got someone and I explained what was happening, No "I'm Sorry" or anything just click and I was passed on to some other rude obnoxious person who tried to feed me some BS. I finally had enough and asked to cancel my order, I was asked why, so I explained about the run around and then he said "OK we will refund" and hung up on me... WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED
NOTE: I did receive my full refund a couple days later.
DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! THIS IS A SCAM!
DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! THIS IS A SCAM!
- The company website is mapleleafphoto.ca
- The company address (10229 Cote de Liesse
Dorval, QC H9P 1A3) is not a real one: at this address, there is a company producing health products
- The company is not registered in Quebec Enterprise list
- The company is not registered in Canada Enterprise list
- The phone number on their website (514-667-3569) is a Quebec phone number and this is very hard to get them
- The phone number associated to their bank transaction information which was given by my bank (1 347 960 6805) does not answer
I have bought from them: they told me I will receive the item soon, they have created a shipping label online and they told me they have shipped the article, which was untrue. I have confirmed with Canada Post that the item was never shipped. They are processing your credit card as soon as the order is made, not before shipping.
I have filed a claim to the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre, Royal Canadian Mounted Police and my bank.
UPDATE: The item was shipped late in the same day I have sent them a formal notice by email (in the morning).
I purchased an Audio Technica headphone…
I purchased a $250 headphone - which was listed in stock - which was not true. It took over two months to receive. When I had a problem with the unit, I contacted the manufacturer who traced the serial number to a dealer in NYC. So Maple Leaf Photo brings the goods across the border and ships from Canada to hide the origin of the goods. The Canadian distributor would not help with warranty, because the units was smuggled from the USA.
