Storage Stool
It arrived cracked and broken, and in the wrong colour. I got in touch with customer services by email, and they replied immediately, apologising, and telling me another would be sent right away. I then got another email from them, stating that due to circumstances out of their control, the stool would be shipped out on Friday. I am still waiting for it

Delivery is terrible

I am sorry to hear that you are not happy with your experience from ourselves.
I can see that your bed was collected by the couriers on the 1/4/15. You then contacted us on the 8th to inform us that you were yet to receive it. We then had to investigate with the courier to do depot searches etc, then 3 working days later (13/04/15) we decided we would have to dispatch a replacement bed to you on consignment Z3DKEX008941.
As we use third party couriers loss/damages can occasionally happen unfortunately which is outwith our control.
We truly do apologise for this. If there are any further issues please let us know via our online helpdesk.

I can see that we contacted you via email to inform you of shipping on 31/03/15. We then had no contact from yourself until the 7th to inform us that you were still waiting on the goods. As soon as you had notified us that there was an issue we got straight onto the matter and had it sorted with the courier and delivered on the 9th.
We are sorry to hear that you are not happy with the communication however the emails etc that we send to our customers clearly state the procedure and timescales of delivery and if there are any issues to contact us as couriers do not contact us for a length of time as they require a certain amount of time to do depot searches etc.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused from the matter.

Ottoman storage bed
Found this bed in a wowcher email so decided to buy it, as we live in a small bungalow, space is really important, the bed was easy to assemble, very easy instructions to follow, you can fit a lot of things underneath the bed and it is extremely comfortable to sleep on so we have killed 2 birds with one stone!!! Will definitely shop with mattress shed again, brilliant

Excellent value, great customer service and very sturdy and colourful.
I bought 2 of the Merlin Storage stools1 blue and 1 orange for each for my sons. They love them the colours are vibrant and they are very sturdy. They use them as stools for their desks in their bedrooms and double up as a laundry bin. The company were very good with communication and kept me well informed of stock and dispatch. Would definitely deal with Matttress shed again thank you.

Fabulous sturdy comfortable bed!
The bed took quite a while to put up but once constructed it was very sturdy and comfortable as well as looking gorgeous! I bought a storage bed and it has a lot of space and is very easy to use. Would recommend!

poor delivery & poor response
Was completely unimpressed with delivery. I was not quite home at said delivery estimate and came home to find bed half hanging out the door. Completely obstructing any entrance or exit to my section of flat. If there was a fire my neighbour could not get out. I think your delivery team needs some training on health and safety of others. They could have atleast propped it up against wall so people could get in and out if there was an emergency. And also I have emailed you concerning this and have had no response about this.

We user a third party courier so do not have control over how their staff work and are trained however will take your feedback to them. With regards to deliveries they are generally sensible in the way in which they deliver goods however perhaps on this occasion the particular driver has not quite thought what they have done through which I can only apologise for.

With regards to your pistons - The moving parts of the Ottoman bed are very stiff to begin with and do require some force. It time this will ease up. Please ensure the mattress is on the frame as the weight of the mattress is required. Then try to lift slightly before pushing down. Try a couple of times then push down with some force. This will enable you to use the pistons, however If you have any further issues with this please email helpdesk@mattressshed.co.uk

company sorted wrong delivery out very quickly 4stars for that however my order was done through a deal with wowcher so it states that the bed we were getting was worth £429.99 with the voucher it was £109 + £29.99 for delivery when product arrived and saw the make model ect found the same on amazon with delivery £129.99 also before you wonder no make or model was advertised in the deal .

The model currently on Amazon, although named the same as the model you purchased is not the bed from our website, there is quite a difference in the feet of the bed.
All our products are from reputable suppliers and meet British standards. We also provide an aftercare service and a warranty. You will find a number of Ottomans on our website.
The RRP for the bed you purchased is from £429, however this is just a recommended retail price so you will find it may very across the board.

Mattress shed great...delivery company horrific
I received an email from the delivery company used by mattress shed saying my bed would be delivered am. When it didn't arrive by 11.30am I called as I had to go to work. The lady I spoke to said she'd contact the delivery driver and get back to me and I'm still waiting on the call. I was horrified to find half??? My bed had been left at my neighbours house. When I called querying why only half the bed was there I was told this happens sometimes. The reasoning defeats me as surely this means double delivery costs? I also requested a time of delivery for the next half and was basically told tough luck it will come when it comes. I specifically told them NOT to leave this with my neighbour as it's such an inconvenience. Lo and behold when I returned it was in my neighbours porch. I emailed the company saying I found both their service and thier customer relations were awful. Needless to say I received no reply. I'm totally disgusted that they couldn't come and go given that the delivery charge was quite high at £39.

mattress shed delivery of a bed
I checked the delivery people's website to track our delivery, they had tried to deliver but we weren't in. We had no information or email to say they were going to deliver. They said they then sent an email which was never received. I emailed them and they said tell us when you want it delivered which we did but they deliver it on a different day. We have now got our bed the boxes are damaged but don't think the bed is but we won't know until we put it together which will be a few weeks due to decorating.I have had a bed from them previously and it is fine.

With regards to the box being damaged I can only apologise for this. On occasion items can be damaged in transit which is outwith our control as we use third party couriers however if for any reason there is any damage to the parts in a few weeks time when you get time to open the bed to build it please contact us at helpdesk@mattressshed.co.uk with photos and a description of which parts have been damaged. Hopefully everything will be ok as the packaging is designed to take any bumps etc from transit, but if anything has been affected we will have them replaced for you.
