Braking failure due to NEGLIGENCE
Don’t come here unless you want to die from a mechanical failure induced car accident. I would never trust Mavis to work on my car ever again after they put my life in danger. I originally went to their Highland Creek location and spent $1600+ on brake services (including calipers, brakes, and rotors) recently just to find out they left out a whole bolt out of my car, causing my caliper to move around and my brakes not functioning on one wheel.
I knew something was still wrong immediately after my service because of a noise I heard so I went to Mavis in Cornelius to get a second opinion and because I did not feel safe driving. After explaining the situation, Joe acted unprofessionally asking me “Would you like to fix other people’s problems?” On top of poor customer service, they failed to catch the missing bolt, which caused further damage to my vehicle and was told I needed a wheel bearing replacement on the same wheel with the missing bolt (which I did for an additional 400) and the issue still persisted.
Long story short: Mavis failed me not once but TWICE and put in me in a highly dangerous situation for months. My issues were never taken seriously until I provided photo/video evidence from an ACTUAL EXPERIENCED Hyundai mechanic.

Mechanics from Hell
Horrible service have to keep bringing cars back over and over again.They want to charge you for something they broke.Caimed to replaced a battery clamp on car that they broke and wanted to change me for.Car cut off in the middle of a busy road car in the back of me almost hit me.All because they put the battery clamp on wrong.The mechanic can't be certified there.My brakes on truck still making the same noise as before.Probably charged me for brakes and didn't put them on.
