Took my car to this location on a Tuesday for front end alignment and mounting of a tire I purchased there! They showed me a gouge in one of the tires and told me I needed them so I decided to purchase them myself at tire rack! Went back two days later for them to mount and balance the tires and decided to add a state inspection! After the inspection was done a person I had not seen there yet named Joe Kudla told me I needed a rear caliper! I myself worked on cars for over 20 years so I was not a novice! I had brand new brakes and rotors installed two weeks earlier by Midas so when he tried to tell me the caliper wasn’t working I adamantly disagreed with him! When I told him all of this he really didn’t know what to say! I proceeded to tell him not to worry about the inspection I would take it somewhere else and just to mount the tires that they had told me to bring back! Unbelievably he told me that they would not mount and balance the tires because I needed new Lugnuts and it would be unsafe to put them back on!!!!!! This is after they had just taken them off two days prior!!!! I waited there for over an hour and a half and I was floored when he told me this! He obviously did this because he thought I didn’t know what I was talking about and was called out for his dishonesty!! I left and immediately drove to Kost tire where they were mounted and balanced the new tires and didn’t mention anything about Lugnuts! Then I had them do the inspection and it passed with flying colors other than the fact I needed to pay for a new wiper blades! THESE PEOPLE ARE THEIVES! They offer you a low price of $34 for their inspection and then they try to add repair work to make more money as the $34 probably doesn’t even cover the mechanics hourly rate!!! Being a mechanic for many years before I went into real estate I’ve seen this trick before! The average customer that knows nothing about cars would simply believe them and signed a check!!! After I left I decided to call the corporate office in lodge complaint and they told me there was absolutely nothing they can do because it’s their policy that any service center can refuse service for any reason! Horrible company and even worse service center!! BEWARE THESE PEOPLE unless you want to be ripped off! Kost tire less than a mile and a half away I will do the honest work!!!
