Great communication and fast payment

Would have left 0 stars. Got quoted £161 for my pixel 8a, did find a higher price on a comparison but went with Meelie due to the good reviews. I had sent the phone off off in the original box and the phone did have a case on during the whole time of use. They've just come back saying due to scratches on the back, this isn't classed as good condition and offered me £82... Absolute crooks. If I receive my phone back and it's scratched to sht, they've done that and not me. As I know for a fact, it wasn't like this when it was posted to them. I've requested the phone back as not a chance are they getting it for £82. Awful company and will not be using them again.

Update: 16/07 - received the phone back today and the so called "scratches" on the back... The phone is spotless. I'm so annoyed that a company which has such high reviews would try their luck to shaft me.

19/07 - Sold it to CEX for £159.

Was offered £64 for my secondhand Samsung Galaxy A35. I sent it to them in its original box, its condition was okay- screen fine, worked fine, no issues there. I cleaned it too before sending to Meelee.
They've emailed to say there are scratches around the side of the phone, unlikely as I kept it in a case. They said they would reduce the offer to £27.
I had to accept this. It was a choice of £27 or having the item returned which as I can see from other reviews costs £35!
Other reviews on here show a similar story. Offered the higher price, then some 'faults' are found and the price that's offered is reduced.
Incredibly misleading, my advice would be to go elsewhere.

Selling my phone to Meelie was incredibly easy and swift. I filled out the details on Saturday arranged a collection with Royal Mail for Monday and had the money in my account by Thursday. Meelie’s updates were appreciated - I was informed that they had received my phone, again when they confirmed that it was worth the money quoted and finally when payment had been transferred. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Meelie in the future or to recommend the company to friends and family.

Was offer 23 quid the phone was down as poor so yes a broken screen , still offered 23 quid, Sent it of only to be told its a tenner 10note, why make an offer If your not going to uphold your quote.very poor customer service

Phone posted on Monday. Meelie confirmed receipt Tuesday morning- agreed the price they offered and the money was in my account the same day. Brilliant service. Would definitely use again and can highly recommend.

Scammers! Quote was £164 for for my Samsung, sent in original box with screen protector still in place and they tried to tell me there were black spots on screen and would pay £20!!! Insisted on a return and low and behold phone is in the same perfect condition! Avoid & don't waste your time.

Con merchants. Offered £169 for a Samsung phone, and then said it was damaged, new offer £92. It was not damaged when sent. The phone always has full screen protection. I see I'm not the only person making this comment. Dodgy.

Thieving company. Sent my phone to them in a plastic envelope that they sent to me, the equivalent of which you can get at the post office for £1. Quoted me £60ish online to buy the phone. Had no contact other than to say theyd received it. After chasing, apparently my phone was not "up to standard" and they wanted £35 to give me my own phone back. I just sold a £200 memory card on ebay and sent it to the paying customer for £5. In no world is there any way sending a mobile in the post is £35. Daylight robbery. Avoid at all costs.
