As some one who knows nothing about computers, having someone from mendit come out to fix the issue was a life saver for me. Thanks to imran for doing so 👍

This is a very mixed picture. My computer, bought from Chillblast, worked for one day then would not switch on. Chillblast arranged for MendIt (another branch of the same company following takeovers) and it took two months for them to visit to repair the computer. They seem to have a large backlog due to another branch of the company going into liquidation.
However the firm has always been courteous in their communications. On the day of repair Imran, the repair engineer, kept me informed of his expected time of arrival and kept me updated as traffic problems delayed him further. On arrival he was very cheerful and helpful. He quickly identified the problem and replaced a faulty part. He made sure that it was working properly, updated the software. I was very impressed with Imran and his professionalism. He also checked the next day to make sure that everything was working properly.
So overall the outcome was very satisfactory. There are obviously problems within the company which I am sure they are working to sort out.
I could have sent the machine to the company instead of requesting an onsite repair but I had installed sensitive information on the computer and I was very security conscious.
If they had managed to repair the computer within a month this review would have given five stars but a two month wait ( 3 months from purchase with only one day of use) is unsatisfactory and frustrating.

Extremely happy with everything MendIT. From the first interaction of logging the fault to getting it shipped off and the regular updates during the repair. The process took no more than 2 weeks. Really impressed! Thank you very much for your service.

I had my PC fixed yesterday by Imram. Overall a very great experience. I had purchased a PC from Chillblast about 9 months ago. Through their warranty I had a call out booked with MendIt to attend and get my PC up and running. Unfortunately I did have to wait quite a few weeks for a call out to be booked. But being patient paid off. Imram visited me yesterday and was prompt and on time! Despite driving 3.5 hours to get to me! He repaired my PC in under 30 minutes. Stressed tested to make sure all was well. On behalf of chillblast Imram fitted a new M.2 drive due to my lengthy wait for repair. Imram got this in within seconds! We charged the whole time, Imram was very friendly and explained how to trouble shoot next time for any issues which I really do appreciate! He even gave me a free GPU stand to help hold up my graphics card preventing any issues. I really appreciate the service i received yesterday and glad to be back online! Thank you Imram and MendIT

Gave me good advice and showed me how to keep up to date with stuff

I had Imran from MendIT replace my motherboard on my PC yesterday and sort a few other bits out.

Stereotypically I'd have expected a quiet little man with glasses who doesn't like to talk much.. but Imran is such a lovely guy who knows his stuff! I had plenty of questions to ask that the likes of Google has failed me on, and he answered them all!

Had a great chat and laugh with him (never seen anybody working with such tiny screws, while maintaining a full conversation!)

Top notch service from the moment he beat me to my own front door! I am very grateful for the help from mendIT, thorough communication throughout the lead up to, and repair itself! Thank you!

Today Imran from MendIT came to me to fix my PC and he did a excellent job and was very helpful.

He gave me total confidence in his work and fully explained everything to me as he repaired my PC.

I am very happy with the service he provided and would recommend him.

Imran recently fixed my PC, and I very pleased with the results. He quickly resolved all of the issues and even helped improve the overall performance. Additionally, he helped clean the interior of my computer, ensuring it runs smoothly. Highly recommend!

My pc issue was fixed thanks to Imran.
He was only visiting to collect parts due to cancelled appointment but he went out of his way to actually go ahead and fix the pc.
Everyone i spoke on the phone was of great help aswell.

Really great help by Imran, who emailed within one hour and called me right away, stayed with me on the phone for a long time, with patience and dedication, until the problem was resolved. 10/10

I had a CPU fault in my 7950X3D that put my new pc out of use as it would fail to boot into windows. MendIt sent a person to our home who installed a new one in its place there and then no problem. Imran was very friendly, helped me understand what had gone wrong and completed the job to a very professional standard. I am very happy with the service provided and having the machine covered for any problems in the future gives me peace of mind.

I am quite happy to amend this to something positive if my experience improves dramatically.

I have now sent 4 emails, with no response - I was a customer of box.co.uk, and I paid for a 3-year warranty (2 years left), but apparently, I have to get in touch with you in order to process any claims as the warranty stands with yourselves.

Initial email sent 9/5/24 (then again 13/5/, 28/5 and I've filled in a customer form on your website today.)

I had RGB light issues and for such a minor problem MendIT were fantastic. Imran the engineer visited and installed a new controller. He was super helpfully and his work was very professional.

My disk began to fail so I contacted MendIt. MendIt were very helpful from start to finish. Imran replaced the disk on my PC for me and explained the process as he did it. If I ever have anymore issues with my PC I will definitely contact MendIt, I can’t recommend them enough!

My brand new gaming pc went bust after a month turns out it was a faulty motherboard had a call from nadeem who was so friendly and helpful after not being able to resolve the issue they order all new parts and sent imran down to fix it.cannot praise the service and friendliness of this company highly enough

Excellent service when i had issues with my PC. the man spent a while looking into fixing my PC through remote access and if he couldn't fix it that way then he was going to come out and fit new parts but luckily a Bios update sorted.

Really great service from start to finish from Nad, reeally helpful over the phone, when that couldnt fix the issue he was really quick and knowledgeable and fixed the issue very quickly and helped to make my pc run faster and showed me how to keep my drivers upto date and where i can find my PC specs. 11/10, if you speak with Nad you're in great hands!

I got support from Nadeem regarding a unusual and hard to diagnose hardware issue that was plaguing my machine for months. He listened to things I had noticed which led to my machine crashing over and over. He began with supporting me by reviewing my machine specs and quickly identified that my firmware required updating. He was rather patient as my machine crashed a few times before even this first step was able to be completed. Following that he updated some other technology and then reviewed my system performance for overheating and memory usage. This allowed him to identify my machine wasn't utilising all of the available RAM. After that was fixed I tested something which I had noted, which was any bump to my table the machine was on or hard thud to the floor nearby would trigger a crash. He trouble shooted this issue in real time and stayed with me the whole time as I worked through lengthy physical fixes and tests. His experience allowed for the identification of the issue of a partially dislodged graphics card. With the firmware updated and the physical fault addressed, my machine has been working very well. For months I had been living with this and was putting up with it. After a long technical resolution call with Nadeem, working through many possible issues, I no longer have to worry about my machine crashing randomly and repeatedly. Thank you Nadeem!

Bought a gaming tower from CCL (who work in line with MendIT). Reported issues with my sons tower, they game out and fixed within a week and less then an hour. Engineer was super polite and quick. Understood the issue and talked us up to speed and ensured that the PC was working and fully up to date before leaving site. 10/10 recommend and grateful for the guys sorting this as soon as possible! :) thank you 😊
