Helpful in the store. No pressure to buy. Once we had chosen a chair for my dad, the salesperson offered to follow us back to my dad's to deliver the chair. This avoided having to make arrangements to be available on another day. Really helpful!

We would like to say to Joanne from your Oldham shop a big thank you my Dad said he felt like he’d had good old fashioned service, he was listened to and was able to make a decision without feeling pressured. When the chair was delivered both Joanne and Mark were really lovely. They didn’t rush my dad to get in an out of the chair they demonstrated it and even had time to talk about other things to dad too, making the whole experience from entering the shop to arranging deliveryand being delivered a very positive one. Thank you Donna and Barrie

I had excellent emergency call out experience from Millercare Horwich.
My stairlift broke down and the engineer, named Aaron appeared within 30 minutes and sorted the problem.
He took the time to give us further information about the stairlift and making sure we were okay.
We can’t praise him enough for his work and reassurance, what a fine young man! Thank you so much for your prompt attention!
Well done Millercare, these engineers deserve much praise many thanks Carol and Ray👏👏👏👏👏👏

Today I visited the Oldham branch of Millercare, they couldn't do enough for us, they weren't pushy and trying to sell us the most expensive wheelchair. The ladies there Julia & Andrea knew by looking at my brother exactly what he needed to suit his needs, the visit was more about my brothers comfort than about the money. Delivery was in the day rather than having to wait weeks, my brother was given a demonstration and they checked he knew how to use the wheelchair safely before they left. I highly recommend the Oldham branch of Millercare they go above and beyond on customer service especially Julia & Andrea and I would like to thank them so much in understanding my brothers needs.

Our introduction to Millercare started with a casual phone call on a Saturday morning when I explained the type of wheelchair we were looking for and why. I expected to be told, I will take your number and someone will ring you back on Monday. This did happen but not before the person answering the call listened to everything I had to say and all my conversation was written down carefully and precisely. I was told that all the information would be passed on to Kelly who would be contacting us on Monday and would come out as soon as possible and bring a wheelchair for us to try.
Kelly did contact us and sure enough she had all the information I had given on Saturday to hand and she immediately arranged an appointment with us. I was expecting to have to wait a few weeks and was very surprised she could actually do this for us on our first available convenient date, a couple of days.
When Kelly turned up she was like a breath of fresh air, she had no problem taking time to discuss everything in detail and to explain all the instructions for the chair, our Grandson (age 33) was tried in the chair and more precise measurements were taken. There was no sense of urgency or being pushed to buy and all our queries were answered with lots of other details and helpful information from Kelly. Within the week, the brand new chair had been tweaked to the exact measurments needed and was returned by Kelly for immediate use.
It was a pleasure to meet Kelly and to see her being knowledgeable and efficient in meeting our needs and we wouldn't hesitate contacting her again for any future purchases or recommending her to other families caring for disabled person.

My friend recently called them asking for assistance as his mobility scooter had broken down whilst shopping. They were not interested as he hadn't purchased it from them. Not very helpful or caring. I've now read your response and it's obvious you haven't read my comment properly. The scooter has now been recovered and repaired ( no thanks to you). I note your "after sales" comment which to me enforces the fact that your not interested in helping anybody that didn't purchase from you. No further discussion is necessary.

I took my mum to the Oldham Millercare store today (17/10/14). We were supported by a lovely lady called Julia. Julia was polite, friendly and patient. My mum needed to purchase a walker. We purchased the walker on our first visit. Would definitely recommend this store. A very person centred approach from Julia. Thank you

Excellent service. We had to travel a considerable way to find a store which held a variety of lightweight wheelchairs to try. Christine was very knowledgeable, patient and attentive to our daughter’s needs. Highly recommended. Thank you

Hello I have just had a lovely gentleman come and do the annual check for my mobility scooter. His name was Dan. He was in the area and wanted to know if he could come today instead of my scheduled appointment next week, which I was glad about. He was extremely friendly, and helpful in every way. He showed me how I could tighten up my mirrors etc to suit my needs. He also took the scooter apart to clean it. Not that it needed too much. He said it looked nearly new even though it’s four years old. He polished it and it looks like it’s just come out of a show room. I’d like to thank Millercare for their customer service and for sending such a nice man to service my scooter. I would highly recommend him to anyone

I would highly recommend this company.
My mobility scooter which is 10 years old required repairing and I contacted them and I was put through to the service department nearest to me. They asked me to send a photo off the scooter and I was contacted on the same day saying that an engineer would come the following day.
The engineer arrived, whose name was Dan, and he was extremely polite and efficient. Any time he found a problem he would come and tell me and the cost. He repaired my scooter and also gave it a service.
An excellent and efficient company.

We have used your services on a few occasions. On this occasion we went to your shop in Heywood. We were met by Julia and we were enquiring about a lifting chair for my father. Julia showed us a chair and explained that the size could be increased for a taller person. Julia showed us the fabric options for the chair. There was no sales pressure. We asked for delivery and Julia was able to organise this. The delivery operative was helpful, friendly and was able to explain the operation of the chair and how to assemble it. We are very grateful that everything worked out exactly as planned. If we have any needs in this area in the future you will certainly be our first point of contact. We would like to thank Julia for her extended help and attention to detail.

I went to the Leyland branch today. I met a lovely lady who works between Leyland and Southport store and gentlemen who usually work out of the Southport store (he was he manager).
I went in not wanting to really like anything and being quiet against the idea of having a wheelchair of any kind. After trying out a few weeks chatted about why it was possibly needed and how to look at it as a whole picture. I can out feeling overwhelmed by these amazingly positive people who really don't know the amazing impact they have had. I am new to my diagnosis and struggling to cope with it not wanting to not be able to do the things I love. I'm more confident in my choice now and will be returning to get their help and advice. They put all their effort into helping me feel comfortable and not just pushing for a sale I clearly wasn't ready for. I am now full clued up on what is out there and what actions to take to help it work for me. I am truly grateful.
