They draw you in with the free chapters and then sucker you into buying 400 plus more “chapters”. I use the word chapter's very loosely as some of them are only 3 phone screens big. I’ve caught a ton of errors in the book I’m reading but can overlook that, but based on the fact if I want to finish the book I’m reading it will easily cost $300 I won’t be reading any others on this app. And I REALLY wish I would have read the reviews before I started.

Why is it so expensive? I’ve spent almost $300
and almost to the end. It now costs me $20 nzd for 3 Chapters - Really???

It's sickening how you all make us pay outrageously for points. Maybe some of these readers have lots of money and can afford it but alot if us cant!!! I purchased 500 points and I got to read 3 chapters... you have very good reading material. But I'm not going to pay the crazy amount of money to read your books.

After spending hundreds of dollars trying to read one book, (which was so large it was equivalent to 26 books), the ending was so bad I felt I was cheated after so much drama, romance and heartbreak. The MoboReader makes you buy coins to open up each chapter. Each chapter can range from several hundred coins to about two thousand coins. I had to buy 10,000 coins at $99.00 each time many times to read just one book. There are readers and writers being swindled left and right for this app. DON'T USE MOBOREADER!!!!

Can't get in touch with anyone. I paid $19.99 for a monthly fee for VIP. Was suppose to receive 2000 coins immediately BUT didn't. As I said above Can't get on touch with anyone who can help me. So I guess I just got scammed out of $19.99.

MoboReader I am an avid reader of your App, I see advertisements as I can't afford to pay in dollars. But everyday my points are not just deducted but slashed and not just 50 or 100 but more than 500 scores. Why this arbitrariness? The free coins are becoming less and deductions huge.
I need to declare your App is not beneficial for its Readers: . The cost of reading is expensive. 2. The Free coins are lousy, no matter how huge your scores are 3.The advertisments are long and dreary. We the readers receive no benefit at all! I am left with no other option but to delete this App.
If this is not going to change I have no choice but to switch to Reel shots etc. I will give you 3 days to reflect then delete your App

If you do not want to die young and broke ... Better stay away from mobo...
I personally feel they are a fraud company using this as a rip off...

For your sanity delete the app
You recharge they take you back and you spend coins on just scrolling to get to your chapter....
And can never explain how the coins are charged....I'm done with them . Just thieves

You’re way to expensive, ridiculously so, and now after reading Mated to Big Brother in Law for the past few days the story isn’t available, it say updating. When will the rest of the story be available, will it ever end or just keep going to keep gouging people $$. If the rest of it won’t be available then I expect a Full Refund for non completion of your product after spending too much money for very little return.

I purchased for chapters to unlocked on the 1st June and up to now the chapters has not been unlocked. Tried to contact them but all in vein. It's a pity because was coming to an end. I think moobreader is a scam so be ware of them. Please don't be a victim otherwise the book I was reading was a good one

This app is a scam. I paid 19.99 for what said was a month. Yet I kept having to pay to read more chapters! What was the $19.99 for?!!! I will stick with Audible. I DO NOT recommend this app.

Can you please assist. I was reading Persistent ex husband: Stay with me upto page 424. Each time I was paying to unlock the chapters. All of a sudden the system is taking me back to chapter 1. When I want to read further pages like 425, I am taken back to page one up to chapter 6. Its like Im starting afresh. How can I start from page 425 without going back. I cant pay again for the chapters I already read. I also had daya in my account, its so discouraging.

If I could give a negative review I would. I've had the same experience as those before me.
I was at chapter 47, purchased 40 more chapters which was more than what was left. It made me start over and wouldn't unlock further chapters. I've gone back and forth attempting to get help with customer service and it just keeps saying if you can prove you purchased this and couldn't get in we will refund you. I keep sending pictures of everything with dates and all. Nothing. I spent two weeks going back and forth attempting to reach anyone. Same thing back and forth IF they responded at all! I told them if they made it right I would read more, but they won't.
I was reading two books at the time and after the 30th chapter or so the whole first two pages were the repeat in each chapter of the previous. Just crazy. I've been so disappointed as the stories started off really good. However it got very... physically violent and verbally abusive in both. Very disappointed in it as a whole.
It started on May 14th/15th. I had surgery and was looking forward to finding something to indulge my next 6 weeks. I finally gave up last Friday trying to get it taken care of.

A romance book is usually $12-25. I thought the $29.99 was unlimited access to Love Unbreakable and other books but when I got to Chapter 37, the Moboreader app asked for more money to unlock 20 more chapters. What? Then I noticed this book has 100’s of chapters! Wow! Guess I don’t need to know what happens to Raegan & Mitchell. Not worth it! This app is a scam!

Used this app a couple of seperate times now.Not impressed.
Feel sorry for the writers as some of the stories are really good. Far too long though. Too expensive, and dont think the writers get paid their worth.
Digusting behaviour from this company.
Better to buy a book from a bookstore.
Trying to read one of the novels, but if you go off site, firstly can't find the novel again, then doesnt go back to thr chapter you were reading !!!!.
Then other books open when not opened.
Unfortunately I forgot why I stopped using the first time.

My experience comes from the book, unbreakable, love my bank books. This is only one that I have cried when a character has a bad experience. But I do believe that the author could have Spond to Taylor I’ll little bit longer to let us know if Mitchell’s dies what happens to Henley what happens to Reagan’s mother Casey and what those groups better after Reagan What happened to Louisiana? What happened to Mitchell’s father at all? What was Reagan’s life back in her with her father there a lot of mini left questions unanswered. Good Mr. Brooks consider writing a sequel just like my Indian wife as a matter fact, you put in the sequel on your list when it is important to read the first book of my Indian wife I’ve read both and not on MoboReader

This app is very deceiving. I have paid $50 today alone and the book still
hasn’t ended. I guesstimated how many coins needed based on chapters remaining and then once I completed those chapters, it added 100 more chapters asking for more money. This happened several times. Bait and switch. Books shouldn’t cost $50 or even $30. Very disappointed and so unethical.

This is a total scam app. You start out not knowing how long a book is and The change the cost for each chapter. First chapters are free then you pay 20-50 coins, I have read almost 900 chapters and it costs about 200 coins. I have used a cuple of hundred bucks for this onekligen book that just drags on and on. I believe it is a criminal network that is behind this app because they use the same tactics. I do not think the authors get enough money considering the amount you pay.

The app has some good reads but a total ripoff. The chapters are expensive and you don’t get what you pay for. Also be careful adding your credit card to the app. You automatically incur charges when you open the page to purchase coins and accidentally touch any of the selections and deductions seem to be automatic. Then have to wait 24 hours for coin transfer or access to chapters. I was charged and never got my monies worth.

And the help centre is useless, Annie doesn’t know anything and the CSR are never available.

If I could give negative stars I would!! This app is a total scam rip off!! To read one book would cost me over 300 bucks!! I’m pissed! I got interested in a book but no way in hell am I paying 300 f@cking dollars for one book!!! It’s a shame that these authors aren’t selling paperback versions of their books.. I would happily purchase one for a normal price!
