Mixed experienced

I ordered a commode from moderno.dk hoping it would get delivered within 10 work days. I have also included a note in the order noting that I will be out of the country for a few days during that window. Unfortunately, the note was ignored and I got a message saying it will be delivered when I'm not home. Since then, changing and arranging the delivery time was a hassle, it was difficult to get a response. After multiple emails customer support was able to assist me and resolve the issue, for which I am increasing the rating from 1 star to 3 stars. However, there's plenty of room of improvement - communication should be more consistent and faster.
As for furniture & assembly instructions quality: it's standard laminate, you get what you pay for. The color (Sonoma Eg) looks different from pictures (in real life it's lighter), screws came mixed in two bags and not labeled, so it takes some time to figure out what is what. After that, instructions were detailed enough to follow.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE - AVOID THIS COMPANY!

I bought two bedside tables on March 30th (they were supposedly in stock and would take a maximum of 10 days to arrive). It's now mid-June, and I still haven't received my order. Dealing with their customer service is a nightmare. I'm constantly reaching out, only to receive empty promises and no action.

This company is an absolute disaster. I deeply regret not checking their reviews beforehand. This isn't just a one-time slip-up—it's a recurring pattern of incompetence and deceit. It's infuriating because their catalog looked so promising, and I was excited about making significant purchases.

Thank goodness I've realized what a scam this company is before wasting even more money. Save yourself the headache, frustration, and disappointment. Do not, under any circumstances, buy from this company. Spend your money elsewhere with a business that actually values its customers.

Our experience was good

Our experience was good, the delivery time was advertised on the website we used prior to purchase, got texts as they started production and when they sent it and again with approximate delivery time.

The product was good, very heavy duty compared to other flat packs we have purchased before.

Assembly was a little tricky as we obviously have become used to the dumbed down IKEA manuals, and wasn’t used to there being 3-6 intricate steps on each drawing, but it got figured out in the end. All part was present for each of the 3 products we purchased.

Super satisfied with the purchase and…

Super satisfied with the purchase and the service.
It did had a little delay. But they did respond fast to our email and the delivery was made as soon as possible after.
The bed is beautiful and very comfortable. The quality of the material are excellent and the mattress is soft and nice.
The delivery guys came in time and delivered in the house.
We are happy with our purchase.
Highly recommend.

This is the most untrustworthy company…

This is the most untrustworthy company ever. The delivery home is simply a failure and when they finally after 1 month send the sofa the team that comes to our house is completely impolite. They just don’t speak the language and they dont do their work properly. If you then want to give back the product you bought then it takes again 3 months to come to the house and take it back. Of course they charge you for picking again the aofa. Don’t buy from them. Complete terrible experience.

The customer service is terrible

The customer service is terrible, as other reviews state.
Took many weeks before we got the item and when we finally got it, there was a piece missing. Then it took around 2 months for that to arrive. The guide for how to assemble the furniture might as well be in Chinese and the quality is lacking greatly. I definitely regret buying furniture through Moderno, which is too bad, because they seem to have a lot of nice furniture.

Do NOT buy from Moderno, they are unprofessional and not taking customers seriously

Never buy from this store - their customer service is basically non existent and they are completely ignoring my messages. Not even talking about the fact that it's impossible to call them. Been waiting for my product for more than 2 weeks, and I have no information about anything at all. They even sent me an SMS with another customer's name and address, and asked if they can deliver some order to me that wasn't even mine. Like what? Absolutely unprofessional and seems scammy.

Do not order from this company
I ordered a wardrobe from here.
Turned out to be faulty when it was fixed up the slide door would open itself and slam I tried so many ways of trying to fix it but it was just a faulty piece.
When I wrote to the company they were not helpful at all they were making excuses, when I finally returned it I packed it the best way possible with out any damage.
The couriers damaged it in the vehicle and tried to put the blame on me.
Thankfully I took before pictured.
Overall not satisfied at all.
Would never order from them again

Worst experience

I will just add to the many others who have already written about their negative experiences here: this has been the worst customer experience I have ever had. The sofa I ordered is already one month behind schedule. I've had the delivery confirmation twice, but right before the delivery, I received a call informing me that the sofa couldn't be delivered either a part was missing or the driver wasn't available. I made all the necessary preparations and waited twice during the day for the sofa to come. This is the reason I had to dump my old sofa and get a new one as a temporary replacement. In addition to what I already mentioned, I received an email from Moderno suggesting that I should cancel the order. I strongly believe that by sharing my experience, many others would also benefit.

Now the delivery was a disaster, extremely delay and when finally arrived these rude ass swearing Easter Europeans show up. No one explains what they want and why they are there until they swear in Russian(I’m a native speaker in Russian and I was shocked of the level of rudeness). I have this on video so I sincerely hope this guy gets fired

wardrobe

I ordered a wardrobe, the order arrived quickly, there were no problems with delivery, and they started later. no detail has marks, you have to guess what it is, as it was a wardrobe closet, it was difficult to guess. there were also not enough parts, which I had to buy myself. Quality is worth the money.

We ordered a bed

We ordered a bed, was told it would be delivered between week 5 and 7. After several emails to customer service, it arrived BUT with missing parts and additional parts of someone else's order.
I have emailed them several times but zero response.
We are now sleeping on the floor on a mattress as we got rid of our bed as we thought the right order will be delivered.
Now we are stuck with no communication from customer service and their phone service never works even though they say the phone line is open on Wednesdays from 11am.

Where is the second part of my sofa??????

Where is the second part of my sofa? - ARRIVED

Without any notification or update from Moderno, the second part of the Sofa arrived 10 days after the delivery of the first part.

Now, I have all the elements I ordered, and I am happy with the quality, even though it is not the best. I would say that for the price, the quality is excellent.

I will keep the low evaluation because of the horrible customer service and all the stress I had with my order.

To avoid stressful situations, I would recommend you to select another company.

Below is the original comment about the situation when only half of the sofa was delivered:

Dear Customer Service,

I am writing to express my extreme disappointment regarding my recent order from Moderno. I received delivery of my long-awaited sofa, only to discover that only half of the sofa was delivered. This is completely unacceptable, especially after the long waiting period I endured for the delivery.

To make matters worse, I have been attempting to contact your customer service department regarding this issue, but to no avail. Despite numerous attempts to reach out via phone and email, I have received no response. This lack of communication is deeply frustrating and reflects poorly on your company's commitment to customer satisfaction.

I expect prompt action to rectify this situation and ensure that the missing half of my sofa is delivered without further delay. Additionally, I request immediate assistance in addressing the lack of responsiveness from your customer service team. What a horrible company! I thought (still kind of do think this is a scam)! We ordered our bunk bed on January 14th and have still yet to hear anything about an estimated delivery date. It's already 3 weeks PAST the 4-6 weeks I was supposed to wait. So disappointed. Customer service has been responding, but there's NEVER a solution. NEVER doing anything about pushing it forward, or even giving us clarity. It's beyond frustrating and ridiculous!! SAVE YOURSELF THE FRUSTRATION!!
