Was denied a 20k loan over 7 years
Was denied a 20k loan over 7 years, $86/week repayments, earning 125k a year without any overtime which equates to a minimum of another 25k yearly. And am receiving a pay rise in February to 140k a year + OT.
I own my house, all my cars, no credit cards, no dependents, very little outgoings. Denied because I save my money in cash which was proven as I was purchasing a 40k car and only needed to borrow the 20k, so clearly had 20k put away in cash.
Was going to pay the car off within the year as well while continuing to save as I intend to buy my dream car in 2 years, valued at 400k, and would of had 100k saved by the end of the two years and I am in the process of selling a 150k M3, so was using this as a test before I borrow the remaining 150k for my dream car. So completely their loss. Extremely unprofessional and judgemental.
Would never ever recommend this despicable company not even to my worst enemy. And they have shot themselves in the foot as I have had home loans in the past since 20yo and never missed a single payment. So congratulations you guys will do great in business.

I had a very disappointing experience…
I had a very disappointing experience with MoneyPlace. My loan application was rejected multiple times without any clear or reasonable explanation. The process felt arbitrary, poorly handled, and lacking transparency.
I was even encouraged to submit an application that staff seemed to know would be declined, which is completely unacceptable and unprofessional.
Based on this experience, I’ve lost trust in this service and will not be dealing with MoneyPlace again.
Definitely not recommended.
