Poor quality, customer service is terrible. I will not purchase from Montana Hudson again.

I will NEVER buy from Montana Hudson again! I thought I had researched the company sufficiently, as I prefer to buy American made, so I was surprised when the buffalo leather bag was shipped from India. It was okay quality, a bit coarse - not quite what I expected but I wasn't totally unhappy with it.

When I saw a distressed backpack bag for sale, I decided to order it. This time, I was horrified by the quality when I received it. It looked like it was spray painted a flat greyish brown. There was no distressing to the bag at all, and it did not much resemble the sale photos. I called Montana Hudson and received an authorization for return. I shipped it back priority mail - tracking said it was received March 13, 2023. I emailed them after a few days, and was informed that they had to inspect the bag before they would issue a refund. Then silence. I emailed again. Was told the same thing... inspections in the order received. FOURTEEN emails and more than TWO MONTHS later, I finally received a refund. From what I've seen from reviews, I'm lucky I received one.

I had heard rumors that this product had a smell and was not good quality. That was not my experience at all. I received my purse and wallet in a timely fashion and it was exactly as shown on their website. There was no smell at all. I absolutely love them and would recommend them!

Ordered 2 bags early December. End of February and they have not arrived. Numerous emails from me have gone ignored after their futile "shipping delays, sorry, trying to find it, here's a discount code" (in case I want to waste more money on a product that never arrives. 1 Star because zero stars was not an option.

I ordered 2 purses then read the reviews. Yikes. Thought this would be like an order from China but not at all. I received the purses exactly 1 week from when I ordered. They were shipped from India. A tracking number was provided within a day or 2. Great email communication from the company. I'm very pleased with the quality and experience.

Thought I was buying good quality, American company. Just received. Poor quality and from India....no way I will be able to get refund or return. Disappointed and should have looked for reviews before buying

The bags I received were not what I was expecting. I seriously doubt they are leather and they have the most horrible smell. After reading the reviews, which admittedly I should have done before I placed an order, I won't even both trying to return them or get my money back. Lesson learned.

My first time buying from here and my advice is don't do it. I wanted to adjust my order minutes after placing it, and no one responded. They don't have a phone number to call (what company doesn't??), so I had to wait for a reply via email. I was told they couldn't (or wouldn't) change it because it was too late - it was too late because they didn't reply soon enough!!!
My only choice was to return the item, but I had to pay for the return shipping.
Find a different store to purchase from - maybe their items don't come from India!!!

I returned a purse on Jan. 5, 2023 with verified tracking that it was received on Jan. 10th. Today is Jan. 28 and I have yet to receive my refund. 🤬

Spent $223.97 on 2 purses for my wife and she didn't like them because t I ordered the wrong size. Went through the return process and did everything that was asked of us and we received a $40 credit with no explanation of why. Customer service is a joke @ this company!! Turned it into our credit card company as fraud. Definitely wouldn't do business with this company!!

Wished I had read these reviews BEFORE spending $170 on a bag that I have returned & not received credit for! If I could have left 0 stars I would have. Purchased this bag before Christmas and it was not what I was looking for. Went through their process for returns (which included sending pictures over to them before they would even start the process of returning). Once I was given the approval to return I sent it back UPS to them which they did receive. No refund to my account yet.... Additional problem I have tried to address is I lost the debit card to my bank account that I used to purchase this and have a new card that will need to be use. I cannot get anyone to respond back to me for me to give them this info. At this rate I should have at least kept the stupid bag and used it for garbage! Worst customer service as well as their unethical practices!

This company claims to be from the USA but as many have stated, the products come from India. My bag was just ok but has a strong chemical smell so I’ll have to leave it in my garage for a while. I won’t chance returning because then I might end up with nothing. Buyer beware is all I’m saying. Not at all as described on their website. They do have EXCELLENT copy writers, I’ll give them that much.

I’m am waiting on my order to be corrected. I purchased a purse for $180.00. They sent me the wrong color. I last heard they received my request and would have their quality control team review and start the return process. They said it would not take long at all from this point. Nothing so far! At this point, I am feeling like I will not get my correct bag! 🙁so bummed! I just want my money back asap now!!! I will update as soon as I get my purse or my money back. This company does not stand by anything they say in their ad. The purse is made in India it comes with a tag from India saying it is worth approximately $60. I paid a 180 for a wallet purse and conditioner. My package had been Torn apart by customs, And then taped with duct tape. The purse looks like fake plastic. The chemical smell was repulsive and I had to put it in my garage. The condition was terrible after the package had been ripped open and there was no conditioner. I immediately contacted the company. I got the same emails of their concern as everyone else on this website. I sent 9 pictures of the condition of my item. I wrote a review on Facebook on one of their ads. They Responded a couple of times with the same response they give everyone. And then they stopped talking to me. Do not buy this product. I normally check out a company before I buy. I feel foolish.

This was the second product I purchased from this company. I was so satisfied with the messenger bag I bought last year that I decided to order the Denali duffle bag 28". I received the product and opened it since it is a present and it is fabulous. The only thing I wished I had ordered with it was the leather lotion. He is going to just love this bag and it is exactly what I was looking for. Stitching is great, everything looks great. I'm glad I decided to make a second purchase and will most definitely purchase again in the future.

I purchased a bag from them online in early October. The color was not the same as it was on the website and I just did not like it. The hoops this company will put you through to return something is ridiculous. Sent photos of the bag, emails back and forth, finally sent the bag back a month ago and was told they need 21 days to process the return. Still don't have a credit. Date below is the date I sent the bag back to them.

Buyer beware, take the time to read the reviews like I wish had before I purchased. Their bags are cheap, poorly made knockoffs made in India instead of the USA as they lead you to believe. Ordered a bag and was overwhelmed with the horrible odor as soon as I opened the package. Leather is crudely cut with unfinished edges with loose threads, and poor finish that rubs off. They refuse to let me return the bag for a refund, claiming the bag is defective and will only send me a replacement even after I explained I wanted a refund in multiple emails. After I refused a replacement, they stopped responding to any of my emails. Filing a credit card dispute to get my money back and throwing the bag in the trash.

Bought several products for Christmas gifts for my daughters , Eva , wallets, crossbody. Cell phone for myself.
They are not made in USA.
Montana Hudson is just a name.
Had prob with a rivet on my cell phone crossbody. Came loose after using a couple times. Asked for a matching rivet to have repaired ( myself)
No can do….. didn’t have emails from transaction anymore, (last Christmas)
Really poor customer service.
Seriously, this is a never again purchase.
Don’t expect they’ll be around long.

I like that this is made out of leather and holds quite a bit of stuff. The biggest test and this will be a test of time-is the straps. Will they hold up overtime?

I LOVE THIS TOTE!! Perfect for carrying files in, stands up while keeping shape. The shoulder straps don’t cut in at all. Well worth the money!!
