First, regarding the price: the ring was purchased last year, and since then, our pricing has naturally evolved. Like many brands, we occasionally run different promotions and adjust prices over time. Recent increases in our prices are mainly due to factors outside our control. The cost of silver has risen significantly, and as a jewelry brand working primarily with sterling silver, this directly impacts our production. In addition, higher tariffs and import duties have added further pressure. To maintain the same level of quality and craftsmanship you expect from us, we’ve had to adjust our pricing accordingly.
Regarding your return, once a package arrives at our warehouse, our team needs approximately 1–2 weeks to receive, open, and inspect it before processing. In your case, the return request submitted through the portal was initially for a gift card, which was issued as selected. When you later contacted us requesting a refund instead, we processed that for you as well.
We understand how these situations can be frustrating, and we truly appreciate your patience.

The parcel was returned by the courier, yet Moon Magic refused a refund and instead claimed it was “abandoned” without any official proof. Only a reshipment was offered, which was not acceptable as the order was a time-sensitive Christmas gift.
I had to resolve this through a bank chargeback and a complaint to the European Consumer Centre.
Extremely poor handling of a straightforward non-delivery situation.
Update:
Shifting the blame to an incorrect phone number does not excuse refusing a refund for an order that was never delivered.
The tracking clearly shows the parcel entered the return process, yet you continue to claim it was “abandoned” without providing a single piece of official confirmation from the carrier.
Repeating this claim does not make it true. It only highlights the lack of accountability in handling a straightforward non-delivery case.
This should have been resolved with a refund from the start, not deflected until a bank chargeback became necessary.

In cases where a parcel is successfully returned to our facility, we’re always happy to offer either a refund or a replacement. However, since this shipment was not returned to us, we were unable to process a refund. Instead, as an exception and in an effort to make things right, we offered a reshipment of your order.

Ring lost its plating within 3 weeks
Ring lost its plating within 3 weeks of wearing it. Even after following all care instructions to a T. No soap, no scrubbing, no showring with the ring, not worn during work. Very disappointed in the quality while their motto is that it'll be jewelry to keep for years. Customer support offered a discount on another order, no partial refund and no replacement. Will not order here again, even if they are quite pretty.

I ordered an opal ring in early January for my wife. She picked it out and this was what she wanted for her birthday. I was hesitant ordering online instead of a physical jeweler. It arrived in exactly 10 days so I made the gift on time as I was dragging my feet. Fast forward and the opal fell out of the setting, naturally I was angry. I sent an email to moon magic and received a response within 3 days due to it being so close to valentine's day. I sent photos and moonmagic offered a direct replacement, exact dollar amount credit to a more exspensive ring or our choice of something different. My wife loved this ring and its exactly what she wanted so I naturally asked for a direct replacement. We received it with in 8 days. This company stands behinds their jewelry, their products and made something that could've been terrible for a consumer very easy. Again, I sent pictures, remained professional, didnt play a blame game and the person i dealt with was fantastic (Inna was their name). I will be a repeat customer with moonmagic based on customer service alone, but they have very nice jewelry and stand on behind their products.

My partner bought me an ‘opal’ necklace…
My partner bought me an ‘opal’ necklace as a gift for Christmas. The delivery took ages for a start, then after literally less than a week of wear the opal started to go greyish then eventually orange? When researching it told me opals can go cloudy when exposed to heat ect so I stopped wearing it and stored it in the storage box that came with the necklace. Left it for a week the colour never returned, left out on my desk the colour has still not returned.
