I wanted to sell my car through Motorway as it had a fault that I knew would be cheaper for a dealer to fix than me and was happy to take the hit on the sale price.
I listed the car clearly stating the fault. Car was roadworthy with 12 months MOT.
I had 2 sales be cancelled as the dealers said they hadn't read the listing in detail and was then advised by Motorway the only way to sell the car with them was to fix the fault and relist! Completely missing the point of listing it with them in the first place.
I had to constantly chase for updates on the sale and then ended with the advisor just repeating that I needed to get the issue fixed.
Very dissatisfied with the service and would not recommend.
I could have saved myself 2 weeks of frustration and just sold through FB or maybe Carwow would have been a better alternative!

Easy experience throughout. I was initially a bit cynical but the entire process went well. The Motorway app was very useful to assist you taking the most professional looking photographs. The app template upload enabled a very smooth transaction process at the point of sale. I would thoroughly recommend using this service.

Easy to list the car for sale (preparing it well makes a big difference) and to follow the process afterwards. The bid for the car was very good indeed and the collection process was well handled. Again being clear about any faults/blemishes makes the whole process better. Funds received within minutes.

Do not deal with them! They promised a price of no less than 23,000, but in reality tried to force 20,000 on me. They also put the wrong mileage (27,000). I called them, and they promised to correct the mistake, but never did. Unprofessional service, stay away.

I recently sold my 2019 VW GOLF R, low miles, one owner, immaculate garage queen using Motorway for the first time. I come away very impressed. The process is very smooth but I had some glitches getting photos to fit on the app. So allow some wiggle room. I was very happy with the guide price and delighted with a yet higher sale price. It sold for More than £3723 above dealer trade-in figure against my next car. Collection was all very thorough and well practiced, with paperwork checks, car check and test drive. Full payment was made prior to the car leaving my home.
I’m still smiling. I can highly recommend the services of Motorway when selling your car over the habitual part exchange.

Overall, a very good experience with Motorway. The process was straightforward and well organised, and the communication was good throughout. The price quoted initially was a little higher than what I eventually expected, but after the appraisal, the final price reflected the actual condition and real-world findings of the car. Overall, I’m happy with the service and would use Motorway again.
