An Excellent service
The whole process was trouble free from start to finish. Motorway guided us through all the details from photographing the car to our buyer arriving at our address to take ownership of the car.
We received a competitive offer, more than any of the other online car buyers.
More importantly, the dealer paid the price of the car that was agreed at sale. No haggling or negotiating. The money was deposited into our bank account before the car left our driveway.

There was lots of good things about the selling experience, and most importantly, I would consider using Motorway again. There was lots of little things that could be better, the website is not intuitive, and there were inconsistentsies between the pages as though it hadn't been properly proofed. It would benefit from having an area where the seller can add some explanatory text that would be helpful to the dealers viewng the listing. The site makes a lot of fuss about a collection QR code which gave no benefit to either me or the dealer when they collected the car. The dealer told me they had used it for the first few purchases, but then didn't bother after that.

Got a collection date straightaway but when I hadn't heard from the buyer I contacted them, they seemed surprised about the date but could collect.
Collection went well and payment was fast.
May use again if I want to sell the other car.

The process of uploading to the app and auctioning the car was smooth and straight forward.
Sadly the purchasing garage were not pleasant to deal with and the experience would have been much more pleasant if a motorway representative had collected the car. The individual from the garage was rude, had a pushy salesman approach and tried every trick in the book to knock down the initial auction price - and no doubt the garage bid higher to outbid reputable companies. Be cautious with collectors not from motorway.
