First of all, anyone who writes a review like below have ulterior motives or are really sad people. I’ve used whatmores for years, recommended them to friends as well, and the quality has been exceptional. Just had delivered the mushroom composed, excellent quality, fine, well shredded. The delivery was next day, as normal, placed on the spot I asked for . I think they are easily the best in Cheshire, Merseyside, Wirral area for price and quality. I would happily recommend them to any gardener.

don't buy nothing they are conmen they should not be trading people stay away there worst then covid they try shaft you tell the inland revenue on these people there friends now with trade and standard they been there that many times stay away from this covid allot

I ordered 5 bags of Topsoil it was delivered on time EXCELLENT Quality still warm bonus for sowing my grass seed competitively priced (not recycled from skips) had a chat with guy who delivered it top bloke nice lady copilot very friendly he gave me some excellent advice on my lawn would highly recommend and if required I will definitely use again

Purchased turf and soil and put down 8 weeks ago, since then the grass has been excellent and exceeded my expectations. Would definitely use again for any garden needs

Great delivery time.

We ordered our turf on the Monday morning and it was delivered on Tuesday morning. When it arrived, the lads were efficient; delivery was quick and easy.

Fantastic customer service and product from start to finish. I ordered 60 meters of turf and 2 bags of top soil. I spoke to a lovely lady on the phone whom I placed my order with She said she would get my purchase delivered the next day. Without fail the turf and soil was delivered just before 10 o'clock, which was great timing as my Gardner had just finished preparing the ground. My delivery was dropped off and placed where we exactly needed it, the lads that dropped it off were very pleasant and professional and asked if we needed anything else to contact the office.
The turf has been laid and has established and looks fantastic after its first cut. The soil we put down has obviously given it a good start. I had to call the office to see if we needed to fertilize it and was told it was already fertilized a few weeks ago, we just had to make sure that it was watered regularly with the weather being so warm.
I can not fault the quality and professionalism of this family run business and have highly recommended it to all my family and friends, even my neighbors were jealous and have ordered turf for there back gardens!

Ashley turned up perfectly on time and was really helpful when loading the the turf into the back garden. Would definitely recommend!

Brilliant friendly service, wanted to turf a small back garden, made a couple of calls to companies within my area, but got the feeing that due to small order, 21sqm, they weren’t interested, informing me of week’s waiting!!
After a recommendation for Watmores I rang to ask on quantity and price and was very impressed with the price which was delivery included, and so friendly people to deal with. I was contacted on delivery day as to exact time of being here, the turf was in fantastic condition and staff were really friendly. I was given an extra four rolls free, which was a really nice gesture. I highly recommend this company to everyone, give them your trade.

Orderd my turf Tuesday afternoon and was delivered by half 9 the very next day. excellent communication with ashley while ordering, lovley friendly guy on delivery, and absolutely delighted with the quality of my turf, still looks as fresh 3 weeks later. Brilliant turf and service. Ordered twice from this company as the first order was so reliable. Turf is good quality and hard wearing. Not sure why the previous reviews are so bad as both my experiences have been positive and spread over a year. Good communication with the seller and easy payment.

Excellent service and great quality turf. I have bought twice, once in June 2019 and more recently April 2021. The latter they were running late due to the frost, communication was excellent and gave us a couple of rolls for free. Delivery team are always really happy and helpful with plenty of advice if needed on looking after your turf. Very friendly approach, great price and the turfs has been fantastic with too young children and a large dog hence why we returned to buy more. I would highly recommend them. Thank you!

Sports turf was very good quality ordering was easy . Office staff were polite and helpful . Delivery was excellent , Really helpful went above and beyond . Ashley and his colleague were fantastic I’ve ordered again since my first order and Ashley was extremely helpful will definitely use them again
