What a fantastic experience to have. Massive ship which feels homely after a couple of days. Service is excellent as well as the food. Excursions are reasonably priced. Make sure to book in the app before you go as it's cheaper. Pack loads of tshirts.

Very big and busy ship with plenty of children and people everywhere, food was average and breakfast wasn’t great. Great service and staff.

An average cruise experience - mediocre food, same type of nightly entertainment.
Lots of extras charges like speciality dining, speakeasy drinks, premium drinks and port transfers.
Would not like to be on this cruise in summer time as would be too busy.
Wouldn’t book this particular liner again

Stunning ship. Never over busy. Food was good in the restaurants buffet was hit and miss. Great staff. The ship was super clean

Food on board lets this company down, the buffet is a nightmare scrum, with too many other passengers in a confined area makes it an uncomfortable affair with little to tempt your tastebuds, bland, and the food was stone cold by the time you get a table to eat at, as it’s overcrowded, but you can use your allocated restaurant instead which makes it less of a bad experience, although the portions are small, and some days the choice is very limited on menu, the seating all over the ship is stained and feels unclean, water dripped on our heads from the ceiling in the broadway theatre, which was slightly worrying, (I hope it was just water) , permanent sales pitches, every single day, good side is the cabins are spotless, dated and tired but your housekeeper will look after your every need, , But a compulsory donation to their charity added to your bill at end of cruise was a nice sting in the tail……but all the staff are exceptional, I couldn’t fault them, they made the cruise enjoyable, a good bargain cruise, but don’t expect 5* or possibly 4* even.
MSC Lirica, Med Cruise.

Excellent cruise from start to finish. Staff very attentive and well trained. Accommodation comfortable and spotlessly clean if a little old fashioned. Food both in the restaurants and buffet of high standard and nicely presented.Ports were interesting and varied.
