Filled in the online quote and got a price (£550) which was over £200 lower than any other comparison website
Got a phone call from them the next day where they could 'help me get an even better deal' which resulted in 30 mins of giving the same information twice over and getting referred to another insurance broker (bewise) and a quote for £1300

Absolute disgrace
Absolute disgrace, quoted a very competitive price, when I tried to buy the policy with the insurance company the said price was incorrect and tried to charge an extra £100, then tried to charge a cancellation fee of £30. MUSTARD are a joke making money by misleading customers then charging for the privelidge.avoid at all costs!!!!!
Not Mustards Fault but the company I chose
Mustard are great - the website, the deals etc are faultless BUT the email I received has asked me about my purchase on the site. Unfortunately the company I chose - Debenhams Insurance are big scammers. I took out a policy and after a week or so was asked to forward a copy of my drivers licence, which I duly did. Yesterday I received a cancellation notice from them and the reason was that I had not responded to various requests from them regarding my license!!!! Liars! I have the email from them thanking me for providing them with the requested information. As far as I am concerned, this company has exploited legal loopholes etc in order to take a month’s money and cancel - easy money for them. So, I am really not at all happy with Debenhams and would urge people NOT to use them as it is clear that they are simply making money for nothing!

I got a quote from Mustard, wish I hadn't!
I got a quote from Mustard and ticked the box...Not to share my details with any other companies. Within minutes I was getting Phishing emails, spam, scam phone calls and still getting them. They instantly sell your details and then you're put you on a scam suckers list. I would like to know who I can report this company to? Avoid using this company! even the 5-star reviews are false.
DO NOT USE this company or website
DO NOT USE this company or website. It's just full of lies, lies and more lies. What a waste of time Mustard are. I'll also be reporting them to the ICO for numerous data breaches having diligently ensured that every "can either Mustard or any of our so called insurance providers contact you box" was not ticked I still received a call from Mustard within 5 minutes.
PS: I love the desperate attempt by the company to boost their rubbish Trustpilot rating by adding a load of false reviews and 5* ratings ;)
Avoid them like the plague...My second…
Avoid them like the plague...My second attempt with Mustard. First time was a quote for my daughter's new driver insurance, this time for my own. Both times got the same treatment which goes like this: Complete details online. Someone from Mustard calls you when you submit them. They ask you the exact same questions again. Commenting that you've already completed these online doesn't make any difference. They ask what your best quote is so far. Then they say they want to pass you through to an insurance company that can get you a much cheaper quote. No idea who these jokers are. They then proceed to ask exactly the same questions again, and again, commenting that you've already answered these twice now makes no difference. Take a deep breath...and continue with the questions. Then get a quote that's substantially higher than the cheapest one you'd found + 60% on both quotes! Declare your amazement at the massive difference in price. The rep then tried to 'close' the deal by asking if I am happy to sign up for that today. Uuumm, let me think about that for a moment. He seemed surprised that I didn't want to pay 60% more than other quotes, then said that the other quotes were based on assumptions. I pointed out the online forms had almost identical questions so couldn't work that one out. He then suggested my quote would be cheaper if I had a few more years no claims suggesting that he'd discount it by £30 if I had 2 years more NCD. He finally conceded defeat. I then got sent 2 emails from Mustard with quotes that were over £100 cheaper than the phone quotes, but still more expensive (by £50) than my cheapest quote. Won't be using them again.
This company will con you
Mickey Mouse operation...they refused to honour their so called best price guarantee......these people are a con, don't waste your time or your phone bills with them and whatever you don’t give them your phone number.
Refused to honour the price guarantee
Refused to honour the price guarantee. Currently escalating the issue with the ombudsman and trading standards.
Checked online for cheapest quote..
Checked online for cheapest quote... requested a quote from them last they gave me a price 30% more than my quotes from price comparison sites...so then called Mustard then with my cheapest quote ref from comparison sites...after checking my cheapest quote ref was told they could not match that quote...WHATS THE POINT MUSTARD TIME WASTERS.
False promises- waste of time
Overpriced quotes. But claim they guarantee to beat any quote. Yet I have been passed around for two weeks to two different branches of another company A Plan, who ignore you and if you chase try anything even disputing me having my own driveway by looking on google maps. I been back and forth providing every detail I can as proof of a competitive price yet still get ignored and empty promises of calls back.
Short of it don’t waste your time as it is a false promise they will beat it and have little faith in a proposal god forbid they actually stuck to they’re word.
Mustard what a farce
What a farce and a stupid set up. Did my quote through them was £80 higher than my lowest quote. Called the number which was supposed to be mustards contact number as I wanted to see how they beat the lowest quote and claim my mustard jar for gettin ga quote. Passed around 7 times by an insurance company from all over England we are not mustard try this number, again and again passed around eventually spoke to someone who said no point trying to get the beat your quote price as most of the time they only beat it by 50p what a joke !! All this hassle you can’t get hold of mustard and they promise something that isn’t worth your time as you try to get through to them and then get put through to an insurance company who them goes through a 15 min quote with you if they don’t beat it gets sent to mustard then they come back with just 50p off your lowest quote. Shabby cheap one man run site with no communication details and no one knows what they are doing. Stay away wouldn’t trust them very dodgy and over promise !!!
