It is client-first built. The way the website takes you to different areas asking questions and proposing alternatives with reminders is so greatly thought that you actually kind of enjoy doing your taxes. It allows you to feel you have accomplished something big with honestly little effort if you take into account this is a tax declaration (one of the most painful things to do in any country). Plus MyExpatTaxes keeps evolving with time, I saw new features/questions that were not there last year. Totally 200% recommend it.

Customer since 2021. I wish the base plan was cheaper but that's the only criticism. The system is easy to use, and their support staff are excellent.

I didn't know what to do with taxes as an expat until I had to read about it. But once I got up to date, Myexpattaxes was highly recommended for beginners. When I entered my information step by step, I can see all of the things I've read about being applied, such as Married Filed Single, Child Tax Credit, state income tax, exchange Euro to USD, etc. I would use it as long as I got simple taxes to file.
