Dears, Alex wrote me 3 days ago they cancelled our booking and please forward bank details for refund , I sent several emails and mail is coming back with “undelivered message”. Not answering to phone calls, e-mails via WhatsApp. Simply disappeared with our money I am afraid. If there is anything we can do agains these horrible people please help.

Total scam - over €4000 down the drain

This business is a scam, stay away.
We put down a 50% deposit in March for a boat in September, after a few months we were requested to complete an additional 50% deposit early.

After contacting the boat owners we figured they didn’t pay them a single penny.

SCAM!! Paid in full 10 months prior to our trip and we just received our cancellation notice.
I called every number I could find and have sent 10 emails, but am getting not response.
I will be posting every day until I get a response.

Fraudulent company, the site should be suspended and Co. excluded from market. IIn addition to fraud, they also destroy vacations.

Myrentboat /Touchboat LLC has taken 6623.58 USD from our family. We had a trip planned for 6/10-17 to Placencia Belize but I called DreamYachtcharters (the company that Myrentboat said they were brokering for us) two weeks ahead to see about adding a skipper but they had no booking. We immediately emailed the contacts we had (Alex and Ilyuza) to no avail .
Finally when I put my review in May Alex messaged us asking us to remove it and he would pay us (sent us a guarantee letter) by 6/30

It didn’t happen. So, we’re out $6600!
we put new reviews up to protect others.

Not only did Alex Reingold fail to pay our deposit to the boat owners, but he has also had the audacity to say they cancelled our booking by mistake and please forward bank details for the refund. Needless to say no refund and no contact.
How best do we all take legal action against this disgusting man? I have reported it to UK Action Fraud
Anyone with any ideas or IT skills? Perhaps set up a joint Facebook page, I don't know but open to all ideas to try to get back some of the thousands of pounds/euros we have all lost to this scammer

-We tried to rent a boat with myrentboat.com for 15-22 july 2023 and came in contact with them. Today we found out that the Charter never received any money from them so they cancelled our boat. We tried to contact them but no reply. Don't trust these guys!!

An excellent article from Germany has been published online by the site yacht.de about chartering from Alexander Lebedev - myrentboat. I would suggest anyone who has lost money to myrentboat to contact the magazine with their story.

On June 21st, 3 days before our planned departure from Athens, myrentboat cancelled the charter without explanation. Today, 28-8-23, no refund has been received.
A case has been raised with the UK National Fraud Police Service, NFIB.

The boat rental company did not receive the first part of the payment that we had transferred to myrentboat.com. Despite all the contacts to get our money back, we were only able to rent the boat by personally paying the extra amount not transferred. The manager of the rental company commented: "With all the companies on the market, why did you choose this one?".

Unfortunately also affected as a crew member. Had to pay double on site as Myrentboat didn't pass our money on to the boat owner! These are scammers!
I should have informed myself better beforehand: English company, but the managing directors from Russia! Can only advise everyone against Myrentboat!

Scammers – Business Managers from Russia

Don’t trust this agency!!! In February 2023 my friend Alessandro (that already wrote a review) and I with our families chartered a sailboat in Corfu for this summer through Myrentboat (Touchboat LLP). We paid the full amount of the charter in two installments in due timing. Unfortunately we have been informed about one month ago by the charter company in Greece that our booking was going to be canceled because the agency Myrentboat has failed to pass on our money to them. During the last month we have been constantly in touch through Whatsapp and mails with Myrentboat contacts (Aysel and Alex) trying to push them to pay the charter, finally we realized that they were just trying to buy time and so far the payment has not been settled. We will now involve the local trading standards department (which is the government agency in UK to complain about illegal sales activity) to start a court claim for money. Based on publically available information (information.service.gov.uk company number OC426820) Touchboat LLP is a very small company (2 employees and assets totaling £20k as at 30Apr2022) incorporated on April 2019

CRIMINALS. They stole £1800 from me and left me without a boat for my summer holiday.

It is a fraud. Me and my friends rented a boat early 2023, paid in advanced half, paid the rest one moth ago and they never paid futher to the boat owner. They said they will arrange payment, then they say they paid wrong, all kind of lies. The result is that we have our hollyday canceled by the boat owner. Do not work with this company. We will file a complain also to the authorities.

Update:

Untill today 7.07.2023 the owner/scamer Alex Reingold didn’t refound anybody, but is still cashing on different bookings. We talked and we wrote to different authorities and there is hope he will be held accountable. He start to put pressure on us to withdraw our compleints saying that if we continue in this case they will not pay. Please provide trustpilot with the proof they want so your reviews will not be deleted. If we act together we will succeed and others will not be scammed.

Don't trust them..they are a scam! We have booked our boat through this company in february 2023 for a week of holiday in july 2023 in Greece and, as per contract signed with them, we have paid the full amount to Myrentboat. Then we were contacted by the boat owner, who confirmed us that MYRENTBOAT HAS NEVER PAID THEM THE RENT OF THE BOAT. After several attempts and emails where they promised to regularize the situation, MYRENTBOAT DID NOT PAY THE BOAT OWNER, who has cancelled the booking!!! THEY NEVER ANSWERED TO PHONE CALLS and reply to email just saying "we will pay soon", but in fact they never pay. DON'T TRUST THEM, avoid this company.

Update on 24/04/2023: Myrentboat did not reply to the request of reimbursement, nor to any previous communication since the cancellation of the booking. We will file a legal action soon to recover the amount and the additional expenses.
Stay away from this company. They are a bunch of liars!
