Misleading promotion
Misleading promotion. The ad showed only two conditions, but N26 later relied on hidden terms about the investment account opening date. I met the advertised requirements, but both I and the person I referred were denied the reward. Very disappointing experience.

N24 log in problem
Suddenly after many years of having n26, which I was totally satisfied until now, my Email and password were not being accepted on mobile site . After many actions and doing exactly what customer support asked i still have no reply! I am editing this review because after trying the x site and instagram , i finally got a good person to help me. My account was canceled because of irregularities. I used my account mostly to transfer small amounts money to my grand daughter ….. anyway the email warning me of termination was never received. I finally recieved it after chat on instagram after three attempts from n26 the email of termination came BUT late so now i will start procedure to retrieve my funds . N26 states in email that it will “assess whether a payout of the remaining balance is possible “…. Will update when the send my account funds back …

Refferal program is terrible
Refferal program is terrible. Waiting more than 60 bussines days. Everyone met requirements. Still nothing got. Support can't help me. Avoid this company. -350€

No frills no fees since 2019 for me
I have been using it since 2019 in several countries around the world, no issues. Their customer support is also quite fast and helpful.
Very convenient, can be used around the world and all purposes
I am glad to have this card for using in daily life.
Account frozen, no communication
I am using business account. I make payments to about a dozen of the same counterparties. Suddenly one of the payments to my main counterparty was denied with a message that a check is being made and within 72 hours my account will be unfrozen. 2 weeks later my account is frozen without any explanation. In the emails I only receive an automatic response that I will soon receive a response from an N26 employee but so far there is none!
Disaster! No communication, no explanation!
Good thing I have a second bank that I can rely on!

Misleading AI bot and poor setup for end users changing addresses
Misleading AI bot, secure messages create more issues than is necessary.
Biometrics not supported on my device, were not needed initially but are to change address, which can only be done on the app,
When you follow prompts with AI, unless you explicitly say agent, it makes you run around in circles.
The support doesn't show that hours of chat are limited, it implies you can reach 24*7
The secure messages which require file uploads from scans and such are from mobile app only, which makes the process arduous, you have to send to phone which many people will not manage, then upload from phone to app.
The data requested to change address, and the information is not inline with Spain's systems and setup which makes it even crazier.
The agent responded in 7 minutes which is good, but explicitly said would send an email which of course I received but instead of being able to work from email, the agent meant a secure in app message.
That is also misleading.
The app is slightly heavy on resources and chat is poor, with the bot, that's it so far.
The contact form - leave us a message is non functional, so the entire process is not smooth and leaves you irritated.
This can be so much better.

Absolutely disgusting place. They are doing identity theft and phising. They stole all my personal information to stop their app and keep me from replying to all their spam emails sent from noreply. What a disgusting scamming business

N26 is one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. This online bank managed to refund a suspicious €300 payment even 89 days after the incident. In another case, they even waived fees they were technically entitled to. Incredible! I highly recommend them—I have nothing but the best experience with this bank..
Issues started when i could not use my account to deposit
Issues started when i could not use my cards to top up on their site. After contacting customer service i was given no help and basically just told to redownload the app and clear cookies. All did not work and i asked for account to be cancelled and taken off the prime membership. This did not happen and my account was then charged. After submitting a complaint i was told this matter was under review. I heard nothing from N26 but messages and emails demanding payment or else a credit/debt agency would be involved. When i contacted customer service i spoke with a CS agent who responded with very rude messages and then closed the chat before i could even respond. Absolutely avoid this bank at all costs there are far better alternatives such as Wise. Could not recommend enough to stay away!

Unexpected charges and negative balance without clear consent
I had a very disappointing experience with N26 regarding their subscription charges.
At some point, my account had a zero balance, and I was not actively using it. However, N26 continued charging for a subscription and allowed the account to go into a negative balance. This came as a surprise to me, as I did not expect charges to be applied when there were no funds available.
I actively use online banking services and have experience with multiple banks, but this is the first time I’ve encountered a situation that feels this misleading and non-transparent.
What concerns me the most is that this behavior was not clearly communicated. From a user perspective, it feels misleading that charges can continue and accumulate as debt without explicit and transparent consent or clear notification.
I have contacted support to clarify the situation and request a resolution, but so far the issue remains unresolved.
I would strongly recommend others to carefully review the subscription terms and monitor their account status, especially if you are not actively using it.
I hope N26 can improve transparency around subscriptions and handling of accounts with insufficient funds.

The issue is not about whether the pricing is publicly available. I understand that the plans and their costs are listed on your website.
The problem is different:
• I did not intentionally subscribe to a paid plan, and it was not needed, as I had not even started using the account
• I was not clearly informed that subscription fees could continue to be charged and push the account into a negative balance
• In fact, I never deposited funds or actively used the account, yet subscription charges were applied and accumulated as debt
From a user perspective, this feels misleading, as there was no clear and explicit understanding that charges could be applied in such a way.
I would expect more transparency around how subscriptions are activated and how charges behave when the account balance is zero.
I hope this can be reviewed and resolved accordingly.
