Dreadful Navigo experience

Just home from Paris, where our experience with the Navigo ticketing system for the Metro was dreadful. Downloaded 2 weekly passes to phones, which didn't work. Had to buy 2 physical cards, which regularly didn't work. We spent over €130 for our 4 days in Paris. Still utterly disgusted. Terrible, terrible system.

Lost over 30 Euros on a faulty weekly pass

Purchased a ticket online for my phone. It didn't work and was advised to buy another. The second ticket worked but I was refused a refund. I visited the tourist office at Charles de Gaulle airport and the Navigo office for help but they were not helpful.

Navigo lightyears behind moderen ticketing systems....

Weekly passes for tourist only available from friday to friday,. No price information on 1-2-3-4-5 days passes on the home page. Under "prices", no prices are given. Not possible to by online and download to mobile phone. And prices informed in ticket counters and in ticket vending mashines are not the same. Very poor homepage, and downloading the app does not help. As we also experienced a break down of all systems, we could not by tickets for the Paris Metro. Contacting Navigo is not possible, they have no customers service. Amazing. Before Navigo everything was easy.....
