Bought a DXRacer seat from these vendors, after a year the leather on the seat started to flake. Further, the hardware on the armrests started to bend (I'm a 160lb male). Called NeedforSeat as the DX... See more

The seat is TERRIBLE
I bought the Casual Sport gaming chair. I'm 5-7 165lbs and the seat is too hard and too narrow. The side pieces on the seat wastes leg room forcing my legs to always be uncomfortable close. The hard seat causes loss of circulation to my legs after 2-3 hours if sitting. The armrests are too hard and my elbows hurt after a few hours s well. The back rest is the only good thing about the chair as it allows 180 degree tilt and provides adequate support. Unfortunately that isnt enough to justify the purchase.and i hate this chair for more than an hour of sitting.

No Issues
Received the chair I ordered on the website in a timely manner and there were no issues with the chair or the delivery.
Fantastic product
I had been wearing out cheep desk chairs for years through work and play. When I set out to find a quality chair that would fit me (6'3" and 270lbs) NEEDforSEAT was my last stop. The pictures and descriptions on the site helped me choose the correct product and when I needed some additional questions answered their customer support was excellent. I recommend this company and their products to all of my friends and family now.

Amazing chair, so comfortable and easy to build! 10/10
Overall a great chair
Overall a great chair other then 1 of the footrest broke on my chair after only 1 year of use.
chair make alot of squeeky sounds ..
chair make alot of squeeky sounds ... at that price i would expect a decent chair
Great freak'n chair!
Pros - Solidly packed and shipped, got the chair in a great time frame. The chair was super easy to assemble, great instructions, easily identifiable parts, awesome build quality.
Con - And I am nitpicking here, I wanted to put an extra gel cushion at the bottom of the chair because it wasn't soft enough for me.
Overall a great chair I would never buy another brand of gaming/office chair ever.
Great customer service
Great customer service. Whenever i had an issue they were quick to help in anyway that they could.
Chair is just okay.
I've had this chair since mid-June and honestly, the chair is just okay. It's decently comfortable to sit in and looks really sleek, but it fell short of my expectations in some ways; not all of the plastic parts that came in the box fit perfectly flush to the frame of the chair, which means you can't screw them in perfectly tight and they will always feel loose; the min/max height of the standard cylinder was not as stated on the website (I would've gone with the short cylinder in hindsight to better fit under my desk); the lumbar pillow is a bit too large to be comfortable, and the straps attached to it are prone to fraying from sliding them between the seat and back to hook it in place, and ended up looking really worn within the first week of use. Additionally, the range of movement of the '4D' adjustable armrests is pretty minimal (apart from adjusting armrest height), allowing for only minor tweaks to either forward/back or left/right positioning. All in all, for what I paid (~$450USD after taxes & shipping) I was expecting a little more of a premium-feeling gamer chair, rather than a chair that is little more than a really nice-looking reclining chair.
Beautiful Chairs, Lacking in Quality
While the chairs looked to be of great great, mine broke within 1 year. I was disappointed and had hoped for better.
Best chair I've ever owned
I've owned this chair for a few years and it still feels as good aa day I got it. The seat got a bad wear mark because I like to often tuck my foot under my knee but other than that it looks great and the padding is still very supportive and in great shape. Expensive yes but quality overall is top notch.
Long term use was a bit disappointing.
Have had the chair for a little over 18 months now. I am a bit of a larger guy at 275lbs, and use the chair extensively and for prolonged periods of time (all day gaming sessions with friends) so I made sure to get an oversized chair (for my weight) and got the heavy duty base to go with it. I have worked in a number of offices over the years and have experienced very poor quality office chairs, and ones that were designed for 8hr+ daily use, and even after 2 years in those good chairs, you could barely tell they were that old at all. For the 1st 6 months, the chair was great, nice firm padding made me have confidence in it's build quality and I thought it would easily last me 2 years before showing major signs of wear.
After those 6 months, I began to see, and feel, signs of wear. 1st the arm rests began to wear and the outer material began to deform and then split where my elbows contacted them. Then I started to feel the seat padding was starting to give under my constant use of the chair. A little while later I started to find a light beige dusting on the base, and the only place it could have come from was the foam of the chair as the foam weared from the regular use.
Fast forward to present, the chair is still in usable condition. From 10ft away, still looks pretty good, the cover material hasn't separated, all pieces still physically attached! However, the armrests are both suffering some severe wear and 1 has split on the top and when my elbow or forearm rest over the split, it's very easy to feel as it has puckered and pokes up. I can also tell by the feel from what goes on the seat, that there are 2 roughly 1.5 inch bars that go across the seat. I believe here in the next 6 months or so I will be needing to replace this chair.
TL;DR was great for 1st 6 months, then started to show wear. 18 months in, thinking I will need to replace soon.
The chair is comfortable, but . . .
The chair is comfortable, and it has plenty of features. The problem is that the coat of material used to cover the chair comes off after just 2 years of regular use.
Starts out great, but disappoints in a few years.
Starts out great, but after just a few years (of heavy use) you can feel the metal under the cushion start to poke through. The seat also begins to shed its coating, leaving countless small flecks of... something... all over the floor. The padding is starting to come out on the bottom, and the arms break off pretty easily.
If you're only going to use if for a few years, or you don't get regular use out of it, it's probably fine, but if you're a heavy user it's a let down.
I am a 5'11", 190lb male for reference. [Edit] I basically live at my desk so my use might be unusually high [/Edit]
p.s. I had the hydraulic cylinder break on me right away, but they replaced it quickly and the replacement didn't break. Probably just a one-off malfunction.

I've had my seat for over two years and it's amazing. Still holding up like it's new. It's functionality is superior to any office chair I've tried. It's a must have for anyone who is a gamer.

Chair hasn't arrived and customer service is of no help. Is making no efforts to deliver it.
Heard the product is good but I can't verify... will change my review if it ever gets here, until then buyer beware.
