Great Performance and Reliability at a Good Price

The server speed is fast and the connection is stable. I have used the service for five months without any downtime, which demonstrates reliable quality. The pricing is also better than most other providers.

Areas for improvement: no servers available in Asia; the control panel is outdated; account and server management are handled in two separate places (requiring individual logins)

Bad impressions

I purchased a root server. Despite reinstalling it several times and trying various Linux distributions, it was inaccessible via SSH. Connecting through the terminal was also impossible.

The control panel doesn't seem to be working properly.

I've been trying to contact support for over two days, but it's impossible. I only get automated messages saying they're overwhelmed due to Black Friday. There's no support ticket system to even track my request. Only automated responses.

I requested a refund; they canceled the server but didn't return my money.

A very bad experience so far.

First, we would like to apologize for any inconvenience, as we can certainly understand that this must have been frustrating. We can see that your requests have been processed according to your wishes by our support team.

As you were informed by our customer support, we do not block the usage of SSH. However, be aware that after setting up a new operating system, you have to set up and configure SSH again.

Your server is already cancelled; therefore, it is difficult to determine why your connection via our SCP (Server Control Panel) via our VNC console (screen) did not work. It may have been the keyboard layout or something else entirely.
As for your refund, we can see that it too has already has been processed earlier, as per your request.

We are continually striving to resolve any issues together with our customers to the best of our ability. So please do not hesitate to get back to our support team if there are any open questions.

Extremely Underperforming VPS + Zero Real Support

I recently switched to Netcup expecting strong performance and reliable infrastructure, but the experience has been the exact opposite.

The VPS I received was severely underperforming from day one. Despite the advertised specs, real-world performance was nowhere near what it should be. CPU benchmarks were far below the norm for similar plans, and even simple tasks caused the server to choke. It feels like the VPS is sitting on a busy or overloaded node, but support insists that “everything is fine.

When I contacted support with benchmarks, logs, and performance evidence, the response was essentially:
“We cannot do anything.”
No migration, no investigation beyond a generic check, no effort to solve the problem.

Hardware might look good on paper, but in practice it seems you’re sharing resources with too many other customers, resulting in a VPS that performs like a fraction of what you pay for.

As you are maybe aware of, a VPS has shared cores, meaning that you share performance with other customers as well. This is the reason why there may occur performance issues from time to time. However, we do of course have a monitoring system in place which observes the performance of our nodes and if there is the need, we do of course take action in terms of balancing. If the applications used require maximum performance, we always recommend a root server with dedicated cores.

So far, so good

There's not much to say: it's a reliable service, they don't oversell their products (as other companies in the same industry do) and, above all, what stands out most, they have very good prices and constant promotions.

I've been using their service for 2 months without any complaints, and to this day I haven't needed to use their customer service, so the day I do, I'll come back to update my review.

So far, so good.

Unserious and rude hoster

If the storage space used is allegedly exceeded, the entire account is immediately blocked. The website is then also no longer accessible. This is simply completely unprofessional behavior. Even after more than 12 hours, there is still no response to inquiries, especially regarding such serious matters. Given this behavior, I can only advise against operating a commercial website, such as a shop or similar, there. Access to the data is simply denied. This is tantamount to hostage-taking and blackmailing!
Also your answer is for me not acceptable. I've never seen such a bad behaviour from any other hoster.
It was my worst experience EVER!

First of all, we can of course understand how frustrating a situation such as this can be.
Our web hosting services regularly check automatically whether more than 80% of the storage space is being used. If this is the case, an email is automatically sent to the email address on file.

For performance reasons, however, this is not a real-time check. If too much storage space is used at once between checks, the warning may be overwritten.
In order to continue to provide other customers with the guaranteed storage space when the limit is exceeded, we set a block so that no further files can be written. We would also like to point out that we are always happy to cooperate with our customers in order to resolve the issue as fast as possible.

Migrated from Turkey to Germany, No Regrets at All

Review: I've been using Netcup's root server service for approximately 6 months and I'm very satisfied overall.

My Migration Experience: I was previously using a server in Turkey but switched to Netcup. Despite being located in Germany, there was no speed decrease and I experienced no problems whatsoever. On the contrary, I'm getting a more stable service.

Price/Performance: The prices are very reasonable for the performance you get. Compared to servers with similar features in Turkey, it's both more affordable and higher quality.

Server Stability: It's been running without interruption for 6 months. I haven't experienced any downtime, and the performance is always consistent.

Only Downside: Reaching support can be a bit difficult. However, since the server runs so stable, you don't really need support that often anyway.

Overall Assessment: I'm satisfied with every aspect of the service. I can confidently recommend it to anyone from Turkey looking for quality and affordable server hosting.

I will continue working with Netcup, thank you! 🙏

Terrible support

Terrible support, with no assistance whatsoever.

Consistently reject any new orders, provide no explanation. These guys store your data, abuse their own power to extort that information from you, and then proceed to happily reject or refuse to elaborate on why they refused service with you.

Low cost doesn't mean sub par customer service

There's a lot of VPS companies out there. It's tempting to be jaded and think that they are all the same, except for price. Netcup has competitive prices and excellent customer service! Server was set up in less than 30min with no issues. I had one or two quick questions and support was very responsive and resolved them quickly. You could pay a lot more for an inferior product and worse support, I'm just saying.

I bought their annual payment rs1000G12…

I bought their annual payment rs1000G12 and I am still very satisfied with it. However, I can see that there are some areas where it is not completely done (the G12 for annual payment does not have a 24/3T rule written on it, but in fact it does). Although NC often does promotions and they are the same, which ensures that customers who buy it without backstabbing, I still hope that annual payments can receive certain discounts to give these users some attention
