Unable to contact them, on seeing other people's reviews and their response I can see why! I just dont understand why they offered to upgrade my course to a C+E license! Have cancelled my direct debit. No idea about a refund for rest of the course though!

I'm currently in the process of taking New Wave to a small claims court. I received a letter from a debt collection agency asking for £1800. How new Wave feel they are owed this is beyond me. If anything they owe me a refund! They won't be getting a single penny. I'll update you when I've dealt with small claims court

VILE scamming humans without a Conscience to how they are effecting peoples lives!

Apparently closed and no longer trading do no reply to any calls or emails but will send debt collecting agencies after people!!!!

I am with everyone else on this I have been promised a refund now for 2 month and got nothing,what I have received is an email saying that they have now gone into liquidation,what a joke telling me the was no placed for my mod 3, I made one call and got a place I have now passed and got a job but it cost me another £1655. And they still got my money,but same as everyone else I think only Adam works there,he's got the gift of selling, DON'T GO WITH THIS FIRM ....

Absolute scam promise you everything but as soon as you hand over money all contact stops no reply to calls or emails reported to our bank but they can not do anything as the money has already been taken they know what there doing and how to take your money with out them having to refund it well now its going to be a police matter sad its come this hard working money paid out to better yourself but scum like this con you just awful on there page they have 5 stars for trustpilot well I seriously think trustpilot should review that quickly

I will not wish even to my pure enemies to go with this company, worse company I have never seen in life. My case is worse than all the reviews I have read on them I will come back to update my review with my full story In weeks time. Just to give you an idea of what I'm talking about I have paid £4000 to this company you could imagine yourself the scenario.
Before I come back in weeks time you should know that they haven't got an physical address or physical office that means everything
The address on the at Holborn it is jut letter box the second one in their website in Harrow not exist I drove yesterday about 2 hours to get that Adress it is an blanc adresse.

Complete waste of time and money, I've been waiting to do my practical modules since November, I have now asked for a refund and have had no reply.
This has been the worst customer experience I've ever had, I would 100% never recommend this company.

What a waste of time of a company was told in january that my test was provisionally booked for the 4th April this year and told it would be confirmed in a week after about 30 phone calls and God knows how many emails I'm still no where even close to finding out they are ignoring me and will not get back to me to explain what's even going on and that camaron who has just started there is the biggest waste of time

Probably the worse company ever to deal with..
Had my practical week all booked..all of a sudden. They say it's not booked. And if I want to progress to do the full licence like I had already sorted. I was to pay extra. Or I can have a full refund.
After many emails ignoring me. They finally offer me £900 but that doesn't even cover the price of the practical that I'm needing to do .
I also spoke to the actual instructors I was set to go with. They said they've parted ways with new wave because they're bad payers..
They take money from us. And do pay it forward .

I get the occasional email to go me off, I've sent two letters to ask for my refund. They've refused to accept the letters and they were returned..they're straight up committing fraud and won't pay people back full amount.

Court is the next course of action for these

Been with them since September 2021. I have done all my theory by myself with 0 support provided. When it came to practical training they were giving me an attitude and saying how there is a wait. (Which is interesting because I have phoned multiple instructors in the area, all of which could finish my course within a week) After 2 months of waiting they told me if I pay more I can opt-in for a higher tier license or I can get a refund instead. No actual specifics have been told of either upgrade or refund. Trying to get answers from them since that email, which came through a month ago. They are not picking up the phone, not answering emails. The only one I can talk to is Adam, who is only able to point fingers but no actual help.

Avoid while you can!!

Giving them another week to respond after which I am prepared to take them to court.

I have received an email from them saying they are going into liquidation and won't provide any service.

Even tho they said the company is not trading anymore I have just received an email offering me to upgrade for a CE license and pay extra. They dared to start the email with 'We hope you are well and enjoying your training course so far. '

I have received a refund from my bank today after months of waiting. Also finished my training elsewhere so I guess I am back on track with my money being out of my pocket temporarily.

DO NOT USE. SCAMMERS.

Partner signed up, was promised the world and recieved nothing. After not hearing anything for weeks he decided to cancel, no training recieved, nothing, and he is now still being charged nearly £3000! Absolute scammers. Citizens advice are being contacted, along with fraud solictors.

I have read the negative reviews and everyone that looks at the reviews please be mindful that the responses of this school are professional lies. I will update my challenge to get my money back as they seem to always have their story of being there for people. New wave note that today would be 3 weeks that I have tried to contact.
Please also note that I have called Adam multiple times and noting has been done.
I have also called the school at least 5 times every day to get in contact with customer service. Please start resolving your issues or I shall make it my goal in uploading all evidence I have on reviews sites and social media. Will take me a long time to do that but is worth it. Please do not attend only to me, just deliever to your customers.

If you’re looking to obtain your LGV Licence, please DO NOT DO NOT go with NewWave Driving School.

I have just passed my LGV Class 1, but no real help from NewWave and it’s taken me 7 months. This company will promise you the world, but in reality I’ve ended up having to do most the leg work and constantly chase them.

Like so many I invested a lot of money with them because 1) their website reads so promising and 2) they have some great salespersons (well, BS’s). After the relationship finally came to an end before actually achieving my Class 1, I was promised a full refund, another pack of lies. To date I have received one refund payment (which reading other peoples reviews is more than some) but I’m still owed £2,000.

I have tried on numerous occasions now to contact them by phone and all I seem to get is an generic voicemail and by email to which there is never a reply. My only next course of action to obtain my £2,000 is that of a Legal route, creating even more stress and strain on myself and family.

If you want to join the Trucking World and get your LGV, do more research and look for the actual local company driving schools. It’s almost half the price of NewWave and at the end of the day they are the same companies NewWave send you to, so save your money and go direct. I used #gsserviceslgvdrivertraining and I can’t recommend them highly enough. Based in Nottingham but we’ll worth the travel for me.

Same as others people said please please avoid this company.I’m going to report this thieves company as well. Paid 2399£ for category C practical training and cpc. All theory test I done my self before I join this people. Been promised practical test by end of January which never happened. Decided to cancel everything 9 days after I joined as no one was answering my email and calls. Contract clearly says if I want to cancel in 14 days cooling of period I can . I did everything as says . Didn’t start any training and send cancellation to cancellation team on day 9 and many more emails I send to manager and advisor no one reply to my email. Customer service contacted me and keep advise if I cancel I have to pay cancellation fee, but if I ask them how much is cancellation fee they ignore it and don’t give me answer. Keep repeat same as I can’t cancel . They stopped communicate to me now. Last time I heard from them was 21january. I hope that more people report them and someone going to stop of this fraudulent company stealing people hard earned money.

I’m not liar haven’t received any refund from you and if I ever see my money back it would be only because I’m taking this further and asked for help and advise somewhere else. I’m more then happy to show anyone who would like to see our email conversation we had between as in last couple of weeks and proof it how was you willing to refund me. Edited 6.3.22. As I did said I would update if I received my money back. I just did. Received full refund today. I went through card dispute transaction and give them all communication between me and new wave . After getting nowhere with this thief’s company I contacted my bank and they did help me. If anyone have same issue trying to cancel with in cooling of period. Please do the same open case with card dispute team they will help you to get money back. Good luck people.don’t let them steal your hard earned money.

Avoid at all costs. They ignore your phone calls, emails and voicemails. Once they have your money they don’t care about you. Been with them since Aug 2021, promised practical dates since Oct 2021 and to date nothing. Reported to CAB and Trading Standards. Advised by them to go to a small claims court. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! ***Response to Response** I have all of the emails sent and received plus phone records including when I called over 30 times in a day with zero response, 2 emails and 2 voicemails. I had a friend call on a different number in which your sales team called him back within a few minutes. I can also upload my test dates. Paid £1366 and they offered a refund minus £500 for a medical, hazard perception, multiple choice and cpc case studies when the actual cost is £110. Trading standards and citizens advice investigating as they were in breach of contract. Will go through to courts. AVOID AVOID AVOID.

Went with this company, after paying £1800 sat my theory etc then get told I have to travel 400miles from Scotland to take lessons, so if you live in Scotland avoid at all costs a complete rip off and didn't want to discuss any remuneration of monies, disgusting company

Avoid this company at all costs…..after leaving a revue on this company, their response to it beggars belief. Their reply is just a work of fiction….. and in no way relates to the truth. I cancelled my course within 3 days….firstly by phone and then confirmed in writing…..well within the 14 day cooling off period.

Honest review, I thought that the course was over price when I signed up but it turned out really good value once the training was complete and the recruitment piece started. I just cant believe I am on 163;40K now with no experience, These guys are very good at knowing how this whole industry works and it proves when you get a job that is better than the one you had when you started the course. Well done to New wave drivg school for helping me.

Had the best learning experience of my life. The atmosphere that is provided at New wave by Catrhina and Osman enable you to learn and thrive in your liecnce. The people at new wave are all fantastic and approachable at any time.
