Never buy a Nissan!

Bought a used Nissan rogue from Boniface Hiers in Melbourne, FL. A year later the transmission is acting up. Looked it up and there was an issue and a lawsuit against Nissan regarding this in the rogue. Bought the warranty and was told by the dealer they don't work on Nissan. Recieved a letter from Nissan saying if its less than 4 years or 10,000 moles they would cover, knowing full well its a 2016. I would NEVER vuy a Nissan again. This is going to cost me an additional $6000 now. Avoid Boniface Hiers a d Nissan. Both are terrible companies

Will Never Buy Another Nissan

I bought a 2011 Nissan Altima 10 or so years ago. After 5 years the paint started chipping. Today my care is 10 years old but it looks horrible. The paint during this years was bad or defected and Nissan did nothing to fix this or help. I recommended not buying a Nissan. I had a horrible experience. I will cost me about $1000 to get the hood and roof painted since they are the worst.

My 2019 Nissan Qashqui developed an add…

My 2019 Nissan Qashqui developed an add blu fault and despite topping up the offending liquid the car then
wouldn't start, requiring a reset by the main dealer.

Getting anyone from Nissan to take your complaint seriously is the first major problem but then even worse getting the problem sorted.

You'll have to wait for a slot in their diagnostics system, which took two weeks. Then when they know what's wrong they'll invariably have to order parts.

It could easily be a month before you're back on the road. Worst part is that despite having bought a new vehicle from them and having had it serviced by them there is no preferential treatment regarding loan cars when they can't get your vehicle back on the road.

Further, their customer service team has little or no regard for the problems their cars cause their customers, otherwise Nissan would not have their staff trot out pointless answers.

The whole point of my review is to try and get Nissan to accept what the failure of a vehicle actually means to the owner. It's not just the inconvenience and cost but it's the aggravation of trying to get the vehicle fixed.

The last thing anyone needs is Nissan putting obstacles in the way.
Please, please look to find a way to help the customer,
remembering that it is the failure of your product which has caused the problem.

I bought a Nissan Pathfinder for…

I bought a Nissan Pathfinder for off-road use. What I'll say is that it would be good but fr a few small things. For instance, the tyres it comes with are terrible Dunlops that just can't get traction off-road. Also, the alloy wheels are way too fancy and you can't opt out of them. Lastly, the front number and read bumper are so low that it really decreases the vehicles ability to attack any kind of steep inclines or declines without damaging the vehicle. Other than that the engine and drive train seem to be as good as any Nissan I've own before. The interior is nice although I couldn't imagine choosing the white leather option cause of my young kids. My only wish is that Nissan do this car in the Pro4x mode so we can get rid of the on-road junk and get some real capability.

DO NOT BUY A NISSAN!!!!!!!

To anyone thinking about purchasing a Nissan, THINK AGAIN! I bought a brand new Nissan Sentra on Mar.18 2019. That's less than three years ago. The vehicle has 18,300 miles on it. The CVT transmission is failing on it! 18,000 MILES!!! Get hesitation in acceleration, and severe shudder/vibration/rumble. Classic signs of transmission failure. Took to dealer and they supposedly performed a TCM update. That is a procedure which is meant to be completed after the CVT has been replaced. They said all done, all is good. No more hesitation, shudder, vibration, etc. It's my wife's car. I drove it three daays after coming out of the shop. They didn't fix squat. DO NOT BUY A NISSAN. Look up all the complaints online. The issues with these CVT's are extensive. It is not a new problem, and yet Nissan just keeps putting them in their vehicles. Thet really have no choice. They bought the company (Jatco I believe is it's name) so they are heavily invested in the CVT. Once again....DO NOT BUY A NISSAN!!!!!!!

Nissan X-Trail - approved by Nissan, low milage but not fit for purpose

I purchased an approved Nissan X-Trail - low milage with full service history. In 23 months I have been unable to use for three of those due to failed clutch and then turbo. Local Nissan dealer advised I may get good will payment for replacement turbo but after nearly three weeks of no response I took it to specialist mechanic, highly recommended, only then did Nissan respond to say they could do nothing as no longer with one of their approved dealers. Do not by their second hand cars - not fit for purpose.

A Nissan Lifetime Warranty is Useless

I purchased a vehicle for my daughter and the Nissan dealership provided a "lifetime warranty". We used the dealership for all maintenance for about 4 years, and kept up with all of the recommended maintenance.

After the dealership became slower and slower on oil change appointments, my daughter started taking her car to another place for oil change service. Last week her transmission went out, and we took it to the dealer. Even though I have all of the maintenance records, the warranty company denied the claim because we didn't use the dealership for simple oil changes. The transmission will cost $4,200 and this lifetime warranty was completely worthless!

I used warranties with other car manufacturers and they've always taken valid maintenance records. Do not buy a Nissan!

Very worst experience with Pinnacle…

Very worst experience with Pinnacle Nissan,Scottsdale, Arizona. Probably the worst people i have ever seen. Beware of the cheaters, who make you to buy car for a certain price and also on the backend they would loot money from your DMV credit/title refunds.

Showing my interest to buy a car is my biggest problem, they formed a team and made every move to convince me and hiked my price and finally we agreed to a deal. In last minute before signing a contract, they included a protection plan which i don't have any idea and got some signs which is indirectly says they would loot any money as credit they want in order to balance the deal.

Kindly beware, they will agreed to a deal but they do some background work to bring some more money which will not be part of your contract. Finally they gave only one key for my car, i was told they will handover both the keys. but that is also a lie. Once they sell a car, you will not get any respect if you walk in again for some clarifications.

There is a person who takes care of the finance, he is the one who pollutes everyone and cheated me. He tried to sell a 3k bumper to bumper warranty, since i didn't agree he used his skills to hike the APR and added hidden charges. This incident happened in Pinnacle Nissan on September 2021

I have a 2013 Nissan Juke with 35,000…

I have a 2013 Nissan Juke with 35,000 miles on the clock. In March she got infected with the dreaded CVT curse. She has been sitting with Nissan since then and finally after making me pay for 2 lots of diagnostics that it did not need (we all knew it was the CVT) they offered 25% off the £7000 part…what a joke. To anyone else whose Nissan suffers from CVT issues there are lots of gearbox specialist out there who can repair prices from £2000 to £3000. A fraction of Nissan’s quote. Don’t buy Nissan, their customer service/complaints team are shocking.

2017 NISSAN VERSA SV - The SV stands for Stripped Version lol

2017 NISSAN VERSA SV. YUK I feel like no thought or care went into the design of this car. It literally has zero air dynamics, the wind actually pelts your head, even if open just an inch. The noise inside the car from the windows, and air or heat completely disables you from hearing the car itself, or anyone in the back seat. God forbid you smoke and try flicking your ashes out the non aerodynamic windows only to have it come back at you in your face. The heater and air is louder than the radio, or phone adapter. You couldn’t possibly talk on the phone or hear the radio with any window open. Never open the back windows since it causes a vacuum so bad it pops your ears. The sluggishness, and weird hesitation in acceleration is quite jerky…I’m told it’s normal. Who’s normal are we referring to? It is crammed in front and in back with very hard uncomfortable seats where the seatbelts do not line up properly and land on your arm. It’s not very good in the rain or snow and slides terribly on ice. It burned oil bad and we have to check it constantly to maintain the oil. It’s an annoying car that on long trips causes fatigue and headaches from the level of window noise…which I have grown to hate. Paid a lot of money for this and it is really not worthy.

Automatic Nissan juke 2014 only 30000miles

I have a Nissan juke 2014, after 30000miles the automatic gearbox needs replacing, I have contacted Nissan who asked me to have a diagnostic at a Nissan garage, motor line confirmed it needed replacing and that at 30000miles this should not happen. I have spoken to Nissan who seem uninterested in the fact that after Only 30000 miles the gearbox needs replacing. They have not explained why this has happened and seem uninterested to explain or do anything to assist it's replace ment watch this space?

Low running cost

I own a Nissan Terrano. I am having a great experience using it. It runs with a low cost and gives a good mileage intercity. I have owned it for 3 years now. However, the suspensions need repairing and the tyres need to be changed but the overall experience is good.

Luv the 2017 Rouge

What defines a great vehicle? That tends to change with age. Now that I've joined the senior ranks go fast vehicles are no longer at the top of my list. Ease of entry, vision, comfortable seating, quietness and road manners top my list. Sit in the Rouge (SL version) and you'd swear you're in a more expensive vehicle. Love the interior and the usefulness of the divide-n-hide shelving in the rear. Grocery bags no longer race one another when returning home from a shopping trip. The vehicle has AWD and still averages close to 28 MPG, mostly country driving. Nice as that is, a little more power would be appreciated. Some like to ding the CVT which does slow performance on occasion. That is a trade off to support higher MPG's. If you're not willing to accept that look elsewhere. While not perfect the Rouge does just about everything well. I would certainly consider another when I replace this one.

Transmission failed at 89,000 miles

Transmission failed at 89,000 miles! Poor customer service and poor quality car. Most companies stand behind their product and at least negotiate towards a solution.. they just said "so sorry, we will pay for zero of the cost". Didn't even call me back when I reached out to them. Didnt even cover the $250 for diagnostics. Go elsewhere for a new or used car!
