Good price, hard selling practices
Good price, great car but I need to mention I was made to feel very uncomfortable with the hard sale attempt of the full insurance 'option' at the time of collection.
I didn't want it or need it but they try to make you feel you must have it. They highlight that any single scratch would result in heavy costs.
The cost of the insurance in my case was more than the whole rental (4 days). So I ended up feeling very stressed every time I drove and parked the car.
Not great for taking the joy out of having a nice rental.
Other rental companies don't hard sell the insurance and also don't charge for faint and small scratches, seems this company does charge, so if you find the price is great, just remember this review.
Car itself was great, the collection from the airport and back was very helpful and good driver. After returning the car I felt more relaxed but sadly it was time for me to go home!

Avoid NizaCar in Malaga
Avoid NizaCar in Malaga – Extremely Disappointing Experience
We rented a car through Localrent.com, which assigned us to NizaCar Malaga. Unfortunately, the entire experience was frustrating from start to finish.
To begin with, Localrent did not provide clear instructions on how to find the NizaCar rental office. Upon arrival at Malaga Airport, we only received NizaCar contact details, but it was practically impossible to reach anyone. We repeatedly tried calling the provided numbers without success.
After searching online ourselves, we found additional contact information on NizaCar’s website and continued trying to arrange the airport shuttle pickup. Despite spending 1 hour and 30 minutes attempting to contact them, nobody answered, nobody called back, and no shuttle arrived.
After standing outside in over 30°C heat with our luggage for a long time, we eventually had no choice but to walk to the NizaCar office ourselves, dragging our suitcases along roads, side streets, and around the highway area.
Unfortunately, the problems did not end there.
Instead of receiving a properly prepared rental vehicle, we were given a Skoda Scala that was clearly not cleaned. The interior was in an unacceptable condition:
* The seats were covered with sand, apparently left behind by previous renters.
* Dust had accumulated all over the dashboard and looked as if it had not been cleaned for months.
* The infotainment/radio screen was covered in fingerprints and greasy marks.
* The overall condition of the vehicle was simply unpleasant and unhygienic.
When renting a car, customers expect a basic level of cleanliness and professionalism. What we received fell far below acceptable standards.
Based on our experience, I cannot recommend NizaCar Malaga. The lack of communication, failure of the shuttle service, and poor vehicle preparation turned what should have been a simple rental into an unnecessary and stressful ordeal.
My advice: avoid this company and choose a more reliable rental provider.

The process from pick up to collection and then return was very good. I also like paying the price I was quoted! I would recommend booking online (paid in advance) and pay for the comprehensive insurance (all companies have it) That way you just pick up the keys and away!

had a very disappointing experience with this car rental company.
I booked my vehicle online and paid around £60, including an additional £30 for Vehicle Protection, which was advertised as insurance protection. However, when I arrived at the rental office, I was told that I had to pay an extra £195 for insurance protection, despite already paying for protection during the booking process.
In addition, I was asked to provide a deposit of £2,700. None of these extra charges or requirements were clearly explained during the online booking process.
I felt misled by the lack of transparency regarding the actual costs involved. Customers should be informed clearly and upfront about any mandatory insurance fees and deposit requirements before completing their booking.
Unfortunately, this experience caused unnecessary stress and frustration, and I would not recommend this company based on my experience.

Very unfair
I already made a mail to Nizacars:
"We are very unhappy with the bill that we got for your service. We had booked online via Discovercars for 11 days, for pick-up on March 16 (see booking from Discovercars):
95,52 €
We informed you per Email that our arrival March 16 will be later since our arrival at the airport was 17:55. Arriving in your location, your officer told us, that our order is not valid since in the order from Discovercars is written pick up until 15:00, and now the car is no longer available. Only a car in higher class is available. The costs for upgrade, including insurance, will be in the range 300 €.
We signed the contract. Now, seeing your bill, you booked us
639,07 €
(The bill contained promo road assistance, upselling 248 €, Senior driver, Niza prime cover.
This payment was booked immediately from my credit card.
My questions:
1. Why do you charge “Upselling”? The payment for the higher class car is already included, it is now 172, 73 Net for 11 days and higher than originally booked. What is the reason for an additional high upselling fee?
2. Why do you not consider the payment that you got from Discovercars?
Please justify this bill and reimburse."

" Regarding your query, please note that, in accordance with NizaCars’ General Terms and Conditions, the reserved vehicle is held for a limited period from the scheduled pick-up time. Once this margin has passed, particularly when it is significantly exceeded, the originally booked vehicle group can no longer be guaranteed.
According to our records, the vehicle was collected more than 3 hours after the scheduled pick-up time. Under these circumstances, and in line with the General Terms and Conditions, the availability of the originally booked vehicle cannot be ensured, and available alternatives at that time may be offered.
In this case, the vehicle provided, as well as the associated services contracted at the desk, correspond to the conditions accepted at the time of signing the rental agreement, including the items reflected in the invoice.
Therefore, the amounts charged do not correspond to a duplicate fee, but to the services effectively contracted at the time of vehicle collection, in accordance with the availability at that moment.
We remain at your disposal and will be pleased to review any further matter you may require.
Thank you for your understanding."
This is no answer to my questions. Has Nizacars taken double-payment? I feel like I've been ripped off.
In the evening, with waiting time at Nizacars, it was not possible for us to search an alternative rent-a-car. Nizacars has exploited the situation.
