I have not received my order.

I have not received my order.
The date of 05/08 had been agreed with the transport company. However, I did not receive any additional information about a more concrete delivery time than between 08:00 - 21:00. I stayed on site all day but the delivery never arrived on 05/08.
Customer service was also unavailable.
Quite frustrating!

I would like to know asap when my order will be delivered.

Wij vinden het zeer vervelend om te horen dat uw bestelling niet is geleverd.

Dit zou waarschijnlijk een misverstand zijn want Dachser de levert niet op zaterdag aangezien 05/08 op een zaterdag valt.
Wij zijn bezig dit voor u op te lossen. Onze klanten service zal u zo snel mogelijk contacteren hierover.

Indien u in de toekomst weer hulp nodig heeft, neem dan zeker contact met ons op en dan helpen wij u graag verder.

The package got delivered with the…

The package got delivered with the bottom plinth broken in half. I cannot return it since there is no time to wait for a replacement diring the works in the house.
Bad experience.

Edit. The product itself seems ok, my biggest gripe was the delivery. I have been contacted by the Hudson Reed to resolve this issue.. but, like I mentioned, there is no time to wait for a replacement.
Thank you for trying to patch things up.

Not the best experence

Not the best experience, first a totally different product was sent. The GDPR guidelines were a kind of violated and used as an excuse at the same time.
Then dispite the fact that it's a wrong product they want us to pay for the return transporation charges and make the return policy so extremely complex just to discourage you. In the end the product could be returned and money was paid back. A pitty that it took some much energy to effectuate that for something that should be so normal in first instance. Anyhow thanks for taking your responsibility.

As our customer service has explained a number of times there was no GDPR Breach, but we asked you for extra info to make sure everything is correct, which is normal for any company.

There is nothing wrong with the product we send out, but a wrong product was ordered by yourself.

Our products can always be returned, when within 30 days and unused in original packaging.
Which has indicated to yourself, but because you have ordered the wrong product himself the cost for returning would be with the customer.

But we are very happy to hear that the good will gesture we have offered to you has made a difference.

Unfortunate bad experience with shower faucet

I bought a shower faucet in 2020, very nice looking product. Unfortunately by 2022 the cartridge inside was not functioning well so it was not possible to regulate the temperature anymore. Since by then the product was still under warranty I got a new one for free. But in 2023 the cartridge malfunctioned again, and by then the warranty was not covering it anymore. Hudson Reed's solution was to buy a new one. But at this point I learned that I would have to change it every year, so the price of the faucet would rise exponentially, considering that I need to pay a plumber everytime this happens as well.
In my opinion this means that the product is faulty and shouldn't be on the market. I live in a city with very good water quality, so I don't believe I'm the exception. It's a pity because now I need to buy a new shower faucet (not from Hudson Reed). Lesson learned from my side: pretty doesn't always mean good quality.

We are very sorry to hear that you are unhappy with the service you have received and are having issues with your shower valve.

It can happen sometimes that the thermostatic cartridge stops working for whatever reason. But as in general the issues with cartridges are caused by limescale/calcification, do we always recommend to first try to clean it, as this is the fastest and best solution against issues.

If cleaning does not work and if this happens within the 2 years warranty, then we will of course replace it within the warranty, as has happened with your order in 2022.

That the same issue has happened twice is such a short period, does normally mean that there might be issues with your water, pipes or lack of maintenance, what can shorten the life span of any shower.

As the new issues happened outside of the warranty period, was our customer service team correct with advising that the part can not be replaced free of charge again, as also explained by our customer service team.

However, due to not receiving an answer to this offer or our emails, we will now close this case and you can of course always contact us if needed.

Delivery process is hell

the order process was going well. But bare in mind that Hudson Reed actually sending the stock from UK to NL. They are using DHL Express which is the most hopeless service that I have ever encounter. already had 2 times fail delivery (because their driver are too busy), i sit at home for 8 hours waiting for the delivery. No notification and DHL express track and trace is hopeless, they only give you a timeslot of 7-8 hours to wait. You have no visibility in between. at the end if they are too busy, they simply just cancel the delivery for the day. If you are ordering from NL, you may just buy from a Dutch company which is using DHL parcel or Post NL service. I will not order from this company anymore simply because of their delivery.

Beautiful, but the radiators are not fit on the wall mounts

I bought 2 radiators from the website. They are both beautiful and well-designed but they can not be completely fit on the wall mounts that hold them on the wall. The radiators are a bit loose on the wall mount which might be a serious issue if something hits the radiator.
There are also rubber plastic supposed to be set between the wall mount and radiator which are completely loose and are not attached to the wall mounts.

spare parts for shower, bought in 2020

i needed spare parts for our shower. these were available. slightly more expensive then somewhere else, but then i was sure i had the correct ones. Shipped very fast. our shower is doing well again.
