I cannot stress enough how stressful and poorly handled our experience was with Nova. Over a nearly 5-month journey, communication was practically non-existent, reaching an entirely unacceptable level during the critical exchange and completion phase.
I appreciate that the process is a long and arduous one for any conveyancer, so I understand that our poor experience doesn’t solely sit whit them. What does sit wi the Nove is the absolutely awful communication. Nova consistently promises callbacks that never arrive. When they do send emails, they contain absolutely no guidance and jargon, operating on the arrogant assumption that everyday clients understand the complexities of the legal system as well as they do.
Most critically, their severe lack of communication with other solicitors and a complete lack of urgency almost cost us our mortgage offer. To contribute to putting a client's entire purchase at risk is bad enough, but what makes it worse is the complete lack of accountability. We received not a single apology. Not even so much as a basic 'sorry' for the immense stress and financial anxiety they contributed to.
If you want a conveyancer who communicates, guides you through the process, and respects your time and sanity, look elsewhere.

I am extremely disappointed.
After leaving a genuine 1-star review based on my personal experience with Nova Legal, I was contacted by phone and encouraged to remove or amend my review. What concerns me even more is that the review has now been removed, despite me never giving consent for it to be taken down.
This raises serious questions. If customer reviews can be challenged and removed after a company contacts the reviewer, how can consumers trust that the reviews they read are an accurate reflection of real experiences?
My original review detailed poor communication, lack of updates, and a general feeling that my case was not being handled with the level of care I expected. Rather than addressing those concerns transparently, the focus appears to have shifted to the review itself.
I would like to ask this platform: how are reviews moderated, and how can a genuine review be removed without the reviewer's consent? Consumers rely on these platforms to make informed decisions, and transparency is essential.
I believe reviews should reflect real customer experiences, whether positive or negative.
