I replied and called and emailed on the day I received my plates and then dozens of times since to report that the plates sent didn’t match the style I ordered!!!

Never ever received a single reply. So stuck with the plates that they sent! Disgusting service avoid this company!

Thieves! I needed plates for a trailer, I have a Lex Auto company car, to get the log book is a real hassle. I haven’t ordered plates before so wasn’t sure whether or what documentation I needed to order online, I started the process with Number Plates Direct, they took payment, as soon as this happened up popped a window saying upload your documents here. So I sent and email asking them to immediately cancel the order. The next day I received an email say that the plates had already been printed and it was in their terms and conditions that they wouldn’t refund my money. As a gesture of goodwill they would refund the fixings and postage. I ordered in the evening and cancelled straight away. I asked for a photo to prove that they had been printed as this seemed farcical. They replied that a photo would cost me me £10 with a sarcastic would you like to send me a link so you can pay. Many emails have followed even with a laughable threat to take me to court if I contact my credit card company to recover the money. The plates were clearly never printed but they are determined to rip me off, the bill comes to just £20 disgusting, avoid!

ordered three plates, one set for van and an extra rear for caravan, never received caravan one, emailed them and was very sorry and would sort straight away, been told it was despatched last friday,13/03/20 still not received it and are now ignoring emails, out and out theft of money, bunch of cowboys how they are still in business is anybody's guess,AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.UPDATE 23/03/20 had an email off John,more or less the same email word for word that Richard McLaughlin on earlier review received,take the review off and you will get a refund plus the number plate,John does not seem to understand what customer service is,sort your life out in the first place and I may take the review off,not the other way round,apparently he is a busy man,find this hard to believe.maybe he is busy ripping old grannies off with bog rolls and hand sanitizer,who knows.

Ordered Friday. Paid for first class delivery. Not dispatched until Monday and only received Wednesday. Had I known I would not have paid for first class delivery.
Otherwise perfectly satisfied with the product.

Avoid this company like it’s The Corona Virus!
They are quick enough to ask you for various utility bills and ID after you have ordered your number plates on their web site.
Then they charge you and don’t send your purchase out to you. Ordered 20th Feb still not arrived now 14th March.
Perhaps they have them made in China and ship them via Jersey?
You are unable to leave a message on their phone number.
I have e-mailed at least five times now and had no reply whatsoever.
Appalling non existent customer service.

I even told them I would be reporting them to my card provider and putting a review in Trust pilot if they did not either send me my number plates or action a full refund a week ago.
They have taken my money without supplying the goods and services I have paid them for.
Which is also known as THEFT
Diabolical.
How are they getting away with this sort of behaviour in 2020🤬🤬🤬

Is it just me or does this feeble reply imply that I’ll only get a refund after I remove this review.....?🧐

I paid for plates to be made as shown on the plate builder, spacing slightly different from what I currently have. The plates came not as ordered so I now have a spare pair of plates exactly as the ones on my car. Every site which makes plates makes them as you design them. But not this company, I received good communication from customer service but they state that these plates are bespoke items and as iticked to say I agreed to terms and conditions that they would not refund. no one reads terms and conditions!All other sites offer 14 days refund guarantee but not this one.. I will not be purchasing anything from them again and urge others to think before using them as their plate builder is irrelevant as they take no notice of it
