Value for money
I received my TT200 Classic Turntable today. The product was well packaged and arrived in perfect condition. Solid and well made, the system looks great. Everything about the system shouts expensive. Given the price, the system is great value for money. The sound quality is great and particularly good when listening to digital tracks via Bluetooth. Overall, a great product, allowing me to listen to LPs that have been in the loft for forty years.
Its more than just a cd player
I was after a CD Player saw this and it looked good. Was amazed when it arrived! not only is it a CD player but also a DAB radio has Bluetooth aux input and lots more could not be happier for the money

This product was purchased to replace an old cd/cassette player,we bought a DAB500 and it fits great in the space we had,so easy to set up.The sound reproduction is lovely,the remote is simple to use and being a pensioner that is paramount,changing the mode of operation is a doddle.

Had a problem with my unit DAB500 tried through Oakcastle to solve this issue and did not work,they offered me a refund but instead I wanted the same unit if possible as it is a quality product and they solved it quickly.A replacement being sent out.A credit to all at Oakcastle and the customer service first class.
Partial function failure – software obsolescence of the Magic Player!
“The hardware is actually top, but the software maintenance is deficient. While artist and title are still displayed, the album covers and the information about the composer are completely missing since 2025/26.
My photos from 2022 prove that it is not a hardware defect: At that time, all data and covers were perfectly displayed. The outdated Magic Player (Frontier M6) can no longer fully process the current data streams. However, Oakcastle/Majority does not provide a firmware update to fix this error. A radio that gets worse the longer you own it is unacceptable. Here people are saving at the wrong end! I'm waiting for an update!”
Excellent customer service
Had a problem with Dab500 radio/CD. Customer services were brilliant. Replies received within the hour and help/advice was clear. Had to try a few different things so a bit of back and forth with the team was required (all dealt with promptly) until it was found that a software update was needed. Supplied proof of purchase as requested and was sent a file to help assist with this and full instructions on how to do it. Problem sorted.
I have quite a few Majority/Oakcastle items - they are well built and the sound quality is very good. Very pleased customer!

I really can't fault this company, fast response to queries, prompt answers and recommendations, the SB40 sound bar is a great piece of kit ,had a small issue with remote controller, problem resolved quickly and efficiently, I would recommend this company to anyone in a heart beat 💓
The Oakcastle DAB400
The Oakcastle DAB400 was a Christmas present and I am delighted with it. I use it mainly for listening to FM Radio and CDs, and the DAB400 has all the features that I need for choosing my programmes easily. The sound quality is surprisingly good, taking the unit's size into consideratiom. A great lttle piece of equipment.
Excellent Customer Service
I bought the Oakcastle DAB500 this week. Not only am I very pleased with the radio/CD player but I am delighted with the superb Customer Service support I received. I had difficulty setting it up - my fault, not the instruction booklet's fault ! - and I sent an email to Customer Services. Their response was very quick and it was not only extremely helpful and solved the problem, it was also very pleasant and personal. Really excellent service.
Poor quality product poor service
Poor quality product. Unhelpful customer service who you can’t speak to you in person. Full of apologies but not actually helpful. Just send you back to where you bought the goods from. We had extenuating circumstances which meant we were days out of the 1 year warranty. They didn’t care. They don’t care. Poor quality product, poor quality service. Unhelpfull when things don’t work out.

I bought the DVD from QVC - it looks great and so easy to charge - so easy to register for the 3 year warranty- at first it would not go through - I sent an email to support and then it went through I then sent saying that it had gone though and again by return they sent a lovely email welcoming me to the product - this has given me great trust that if I needed help at any time I can contact and get a reply without waiting days. Great product if you still have DVD'S - no need to use the TV - good size .🤗

I bought a pretty entry level soundbar to enhance the sound quality oh my TV.
I had a few issues installing it, contacted customer support and they were excellent. They responded to every email question very quickly and always with advice. With there help we sorted my issue. Its good to see a company with fantastic customer service.

My DAB500 arrived quickly and well packaged. A smart-looking solid radio with excellent sound quality. Delighted, and when I had a slight problem it was quickly resolved by the tech team

Excellent; until it went wrong!
In November 2024 I bought an Oakcastle DAB500 DAB radio/CD player. Good solid case, good sound quality, easy to set up. It was warranted for 52 weeks. It behaved perfectly for 55 weeks at which point a software glitch caused the legend "waiting for PC wizard..." to come up on the display screen and the unit "froze". I remedied it by turning it off at the mains and, after a short wait, back on again. It worked fine again until the next day when the same thing happened. I then got in touch with customer service, they admitted it was a known fault. Their suggestion of turning it off and leaving it for 48 hours didn't work either. I tried, with their help, to download software on my laptop and input to the DAB500 via the USB port. That didn't work either. Eventually, we all gave up and they refunded me 25% of the purchase price. I thought that was pretty mean considering that it had gone wrong only 3 weeks out of warranty. They offered me 40% off if I bought a new one, but why would I want something else from a manufacturer whose product misbehaved? So I took the 25% refund. Overall, left feeling disappointed.

Excellent Customer Service 2 years after purchase
I bought my Oakcastle DAB500 back in December '23. Recently I notice the CD player would start at random places on CDs when I played them.
I contacted Oakcastle via their website regarding the issue and within 20 minutes I had a response from a real person with a solution. Thank you Emilyn.
