We were looking for a DAB radio with a CD player. Not a boom box. The Oakington Majestic radio has met our requirements. It is well made and fits in with our furniture. The sound is excellent and the controls are easy to use. It appears to be well worth the money.

I had a problem with my MP200 player (by accident I switched settings to Greek language) and I couldn't work out how to change back to English. Emailed Oakcastle on Sunday with my problem. I did not expect reply that day. They gave me a solution and the problem was easily resolved. GREAT Service!!

I love this little CD player. Extremely light and well designed with good quality sound through the ear plugs. I haven't tried Bluetooth yet, but so far I'm very pleased with the purchase. (Also nice to support a British company.)
I was unable to find the item on their page to register, but they responded quickly to an email, sent me a link and registration was easy.

I had a slight problem with a CD player but all was quickly resolved by Oakcastle technicians. An excellent CD player and their help and advice was impressive indeed.

We're very pleased with the DAB 400, which we bought last week. It's easy to set up. The sound quality is excellent, as are the features, particularly for the price. It looks great in our kitchen, and is compact. Build quality is good. We wanted a device with DAB+ as a couple of the stations we listen to are going to move to DAB+ only. We're enjoying listening to our CDs again.

As I write this I’m enjoying listening to Genesis Calling All Stations pounding out of the inbuilt 60 watt speakers from CD! Words alone seem insufficient to fully describe the quality and technology used in the manufacture of this excellent piece of equipment. Oh that bass!

Like other happy purchasers of this product, I’ve had expensive high quality music reproduction music systems in the past, towers of separates, etc, and this modern equivalent more than adequately replaces them in entirety.

I’ve not used all the functions yet, but DAB+ is amazing, and the tuner picks up so many more dab stations than I’ve ever had before. Having the facility to preset my favourites is brilliant , and the CD player? Well, listening to aforementioned cd is like being there at the concert! Gives me goose pimples! The remote works well too, true sofa surfing, changing functions without moving a muscle👍

If you’re looking for a modern substitute for those lovely stereo music systems of the past, for a fraction of the price then really, you cannot go wrong with this mind blowing piece of magic.

What would I like in addition to what it offers already? Okay, designers, catch this - A REAL wooden cabinet, and two of those pretty backlit stereo Vu meters showing rms output by two red pointers on decibel scale🤗 I’d take it to heaven with me, I would , thank you for an excellent product.

Well i guess im the lucky one , i choose Oakcastle simply because their better than good, they are great to deal with, they ve got the confidence in their product to give an extended warranty, wow, so now i have the CD 100 player i ,am wrapped ,works perfectly, 5 star to deal with .

We have had an extremely high quality, and now very expensive, sound system in the house for some 20+ years before the second went kaput. We decided we would not get another and searched for something. We alighted upon Oakcastle 500 DAB. Quality wise it is comparable with its predecessor and at the price streets ahead in value. Love it !!

I've not brought from oakcastle before but my experience was very good and the product was excellent not to mention the extra 3 years warranty at no extra cost but I don't think I would need to use it as the quality of my system is superb a great product and would recommend. M. Cannon

I bought their DAB400 via AMAZON which showed a picture of this Music centre c/w Remote Control. On arrival, there was no Remote Control,
just the batteries, and in the section "what is in the box" the Remote Control is not listed, just a picture of it in the User Manual ?
On contacting AMAZON, after being cut-off twice by the same Agent, I managed to speak someone helpful, and was told, that as this was fulfilled by AMAZON, they would provide me with a Refund, and that I didn't need to return the DAB 400 ?
On contacting OAKCASTLE, I was quized by their Josh
who suggested I look through the packaging, and he asked me for a Screen-shot of my AMAZON Order.
On receipt of this, he told me that as AMAZON had refunded me, there was nothing further for them to do ?
He gave me a Link for purchasing the Remote Control, but the picture was different from the User Manual ?
It seems very odd, that although this item is advertised as c/w Remote Control, and when it not supplied, only a Refund is available,and keeping the item, rather than supplying the said missing Remote Control ?
Although I have Registered the product with them for a 3 year Guarantee, I can't see them honouring it ?
Their "Customer Service" needs to get it's act together!

I bought the DAB 500 as I needed a cd player for some language course cd’s I have. Having looked at a few players I opted for this one due to price. To my great surprise the quality and sound are excellent, and it is a good looking piece of kit. It now has a permanent place in my study and is used regularly.

Unfortunately I'm seventy years old I've spent alot of money on the prestige music systems .Pound for pound this is right up there for the money ,the DAB 500 is well worth the money and great customer care sevice

I really love the product. It’s easier to bring it out on my patio & listen to music than my iPad unless I want to watch a video with the music. And I can hook it up in my car. This is the fourth one I’ve bought due to my son busting two up when he was careless on his e-bike. Gave him mine & bought another one.
