Octopus Legacy, formerly known as Guardian Angel, is the place to plan for death and find support after a loss. When people think about planning for death they think about wills, life insurance and funerals. We take these cold processes and turn them into something much more human. Share more than money: leave voice notes, music, recipes and videos. Shape a legacy that connects you while you're here. And after you're gone. Founded by Sam after his mum died suddenly, we’re a group of people who work in death because we’ve been affected by it. We know the difference a good plan makes, and what it’s like when there isn’t one. Death can come between us, leave mess, legal fees, frustration. But it can also connect us. We see a world where people talk openly about death, and work out the real meaning of legacy, one that connects to them. We’re here to make that world happen.

Very helpful person
Very helpful person, ask me If I was understanding the questions, explained every thing as we were going through it.
Easy and reassuring experience
From an initial information call with Sam to my estate planning session with Jordan, the whole process was simple, informative and human. It was great to have a really pragmatic conversation about making my wishes legal, the whole process was explained well and I like the fact that octopus legacy was started to solve a difficult problem for others losing family suddenly without plans/wills in place. I utilised the charity partners option to write my will through the funded option. I hope more people get theirs wills organised, it is the way we can look after our loved ones/solve some stress and worries when we are no longer here.
