Really easy to do
Really easy to do - I needed to write my first will because I was married, we were buying our first home together and expecting our first baby. I completed my will in less than 20 minutes while lying in the bath!
If you had a complex estate this might not be for you, but for me it was really simple and fast to complete and covered everything I needed without needing loads of information and documents to complete each section. I got a free copy of mine and my husband got his for a discount.

Received a really bad service from this…
Received a really bad service from this company. I spent about £2000 on a will.
It came back with so many errors. Worst of all, it was written up for my estate to bypass my kids and go to others for some reason.
The communication since to get this rectified has been terrible

I was extremely impressed with Kara. Discussing your will and what happens after you’re no longer here can be a difficult and sensitive conversation, but she made me feel completely comfortable.
Her professionalism, experience, communication skills and, above all, her compassion really stood out. She took the time to listen, gave thoughtful advice, and explained everything clearly and with genuine care.
Kara is an excellent professional, and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for support with making a will.

Terrible Communication
I booked a will writing appointment on Octopus Legacy’s website and received confirmation and a reminder. Despite this, nobody contacted me at the agreed time.
I then spent ages in phone queues, used their callback service (never received the call), and emailed my contact after two missed calls over a week later. I clearly stated my availability and my disappointment with the lack of communication. I’ve had no reply at all.
If this is their standard of communication, I wouldn’t feel comfortable trusting them with my will.

Alistair made the entire process so easy and gave so much of his time and energy. He was knowledgable, incredibly kind and patient with things changing and also went above and beyond to help get things completed as quickly as possible.
