Stay away. Far, far away!

Like so many other reviewers, I was scammed by this "company". My story is identical to most of the other reviews, so I won't go into great detail. My first scam clue was an "Ottawa atelier" with a Chinese shipping address. "They" really didn't like it when I posted an unflattering comment on their Instagram ad.

SCAM! From China.

SCAM from China! To be fair there is a legit Oscar & Olivia (notice the names switched; in the UK) but this is definitely NOT it. I ordered a ring and it is complete crap. Nothing like the image.

Scam Scam Scam !

Scam Scam Scam !. Do not buy from them…
Ordered 3 items, received 2 of them. Told them that I wanted to return the 2 items because quality was very poor. After many emails trying to give discount for the 2 items, I accepted a refund but they never did for the item never received…after a few weeks of wearing the items, which they stated to be freshwater pearls, they started to pill. I have sent about 5 emails since July requesting refund for those and I have not heard from them… very disappointing

TOTAL SCAM

Like other reviewers, I placed an order on June 6, received the email confirming the order and then an email to track the shipment through "Shop". The shipment is not trackable and nothing has been received. I've been contacting the shop using all possible means and have had no response from them. I've reported this to Shopify as well with no response from them.

So I bought three rings back in April

So I bought three rings back in April. I sent my first email to them two months later cause I still haven’t received anything when I ordered. They took my payment out immediately and I waited cause I was excited about the rings cause wow that’s a long story anyways so no-show and I emailed them every week and they said oh we had the wrong postal code. Will send it out to you again. I waited another month still nothing and now I email every Olivia and Oscar or Olivia jewellery thing on Facebook or I write scam on everything to warn people because my 180 bucks is gone and I have not a thing to show for it so I don’t even know what company or where anything is. I don’t know if I should go to the bank and try and get my money back so that’s my story. I’m a dumb dumb.

This is a company of thieves and swindlers!

I ordered two rings on June 18, 2025 (Order #10246, $39.95).
The company charged me immediately but never delivered the items.
I only received one fake “shipping update” with an invalid tracking number.
After that, all my emails have been ignored.
They claim to offer a 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee, but no refund was given.
Very unprofessional – I do not recommend this store.

Fraud

I made a purchase in June. It's been 2 months and I have received nothing. I emailed 3 times with no response. It looks like the jewelry is shipped from China but who knows as nothing ever arrived and no one responds.

This company is a scam

This company is a scam. They never sent my items and although they responded to my first email inquiry saying they had been shipped, didn’t ever provide tracking or courier info or respond again. I’ll be initiating a chargeback with my credit card

Scam

Scam. Not a Canadian company. Jewellery came from China. Sent the wrong size. Said they would send another. Weeks later didn’t receive anything. I emailed them. They say their website is having technical difficulties and they would refund me 15%. There website is fake. They are fake advertising. I don’t believe they will refund me 15% and I believe I will never see the replacement piece.
My daughter found the merchandise on a China website for cheaper.
Buyer Beware.

Not as advertised and from China

Received a tracking number from China after falling for a great discount price as Canadian made, which clearly it is not. Then a month later the tracking number disappeared. I’ve asked for a refund. I’m not sure yet if I will receive a refund. Olivia did however say she will issue the refund and was polite in her email correspondence.

Scam Business - Overpriced Junk from China

My order took 2.5 weeks to arrive. This stuff obviously came straight from China, not a store or warehouse in Canada or the US. Otherwise, it wouldn't take this long to arrive. The packaging says it all. I've ordered from Temu and Aliexpress and the packaging is the EXACT SAME. The look and quality of the bracelets I got is nothing compared to what is portrayed online. They look and feel like dollar store jewelry or from Claire's/Ardene.

This is a scam business selling cheaply made jewelry straight from China that they are reselling at incredibly higher prices using fake pictures that do not show the real products. The entire website and story is fake as well as the picture of the mother holding her child, which is likely AI generated. Scammers are getting more clever - the website, layout and the pictures all appears very professional with no broken English or misspelled words. However, there are red flags.

RED FLAGS (accurate as of July 2025):
- Their Facebook ad "Olivia and Oscar Jewels" shows a mother holding her son and saying how they had to close due to financial hardship and were having a liquidation sale.
I clicked on their website (oliviaoscarjewels.com), but strangely, the website shows a DIFFERENT child and DIFFERENT mother.

- ‎The top of the website says "free shipping today only", but it says that EVERY SINGLE DAY. I keep checking back and it never changes. Obviously just a ploy to pressure you to buy.

- There are no reviews or pictures for each specific piece of jewelry. There are only reviews (likely fake) about their jewelry in general.

- Their website advertises that they are trusted by over 10,000 Canadian women and have a 4.5 star rating on Trustpilot. Such blatant lies. There's also a negative Reddit forum and even their own Facebook page is littered with people saying it's a scam with comments about receiving low quality junk from China.

- There is another Facebook ad called "Luna and Lucas Jewels" with the EXACT SAME sob story about a single mother having to close her jewelry store due to financial hardships. Their website has the same layout, same jewelry and same story with exact wording (just different names), but shows a picture of a different mother and son = TOTAL SCAM.

I was trying to support Canadian business but am deceived as I don’t Even believe the sad story.

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS FRAUDULENT COMPANY

Oliviaoscarjewels.com is using the information from the legitimate company of Oscar & Olivia from England.
Their website claims they are a Canadian company, 30 day money back guarantee & free returns. I am here to let you know they are 100% based in China. If you have a defective piece or any other issue, it will not be rectified. I wish I could share the dozen emails I have so far - the last giving their full address in China. If I want to return my items (set of rings with missing stone) I can do so at my own expense including dealing with customs. If they have to answer to customs, they will decline the return. I am more than happy to share my experience. Contact me!

Issued a dispute through my credit card company.
