Great insurance platform. Although there were many reviews here outlining the flaws of this company a few months ago, recently it has significantly better. After south Hampton took over there were some initial problems, but now, the insurance platform is much better. Quick responses and great customer service. Overall really good right now - would totally recommend!

It appears that Onlia has shut down, yet they continue billing former customers. This is clearly fraudulent behavior. Avoid this company at all costs.

This use to be a great company until they became a brokerage firm awful everything canceled won’t be back they tried to over charge me for days included it my policy and other weird things if your still with them get out now !

So far I’ve had great service. My only complaints are that 1) i purposefully had my payments coming out on the 15th of the month because that was better for me. 2) now i suddenly have to come up with a double payment on the 1st of the month when rent is due. That seems highly unfair.

Following a couple of my nasty reviews here, I was asked to send an email to their support team. Their support team took a month to respond back. The funny thing is they asked me for my number so that they can reach out and discuss the grievances. It has been a month and half and they are yet to contact me to "discuss".
I wonder if there is already a class action lawsuit against them for putting their customers through such hassles and wasting their time.
I’ve been with onlia for so long over 2 years of being with them and having to re new my policy they are charging me 469 when I use to pay 450 for two people on my policy there so expensive I will find insurance else where the agent promised to call me back Saturday and didn’t do that. I’ve been lied to so I no longer will stay with onlia

I cancelled my plan back at the end of 2024 after ONLIA changed the way they handle payments / accounts, yet I continued getting billed. They never responded to my request at any time.
I emailed again in February and am just now getting a response and they're telling me my balance is almost $600. After this "ticket" was opened in February and no response was given, I get a generated response stating I owe them money and they immediately close the ticket saying it was resolved. Bullcrap!
Their website is garbage; I cannot login and make adjustments and they removed the ability to make payments through my online web account. Requesting a "new password" never sends an email, because my account has clearly been deleted or locked to stop me from accessing my info.
ONLIA, stop screwing over your "clients" and make things right. Remove the "$590+" that I "owe" as my insurance has been cancelled since late last year. It was cancelled BY YOU due to "non-payment" as a result of YOUR dysfunctional website and lack of communication. I've seen the dozens of negative reviews and bad press you're receiving. I'm not asking for money back, I'm asking for you to remove any outstanding balance you think I have. I've been with a new insurance provider since December 2024 because you don't conduct business in a professional manner and shut me out when contacting for a resolution.

Was in a bind and needed insurance quickly. Was approved within 40mins of getting a free quote and for a lower premium that I was quoted elsewhere. Unfortunately they were unable to offer me rental insurance, so I have to look elsewhere for that.

I was impressed with the knowledge and expertise of agents that I spoke with or communicated with. Your service was superb. However, my biggest problem is on time availability via phone is very poor. Average 40 to 70 minutes to get a live agent to talk to us not good at all. Pls consider improving your direct access to agent services.

The worst experience ever!
After my car accident, I was completely left in the dark. I was bounced between three different companies — Wawanesa, AHA Insurance, and Onlia. I reached out to Onlia several times by email and phone, but never received a single real response. Only automated messages saying someone would contact me — no one ever did.
Their customer service is completely unresponsive. I still haven’t received any answer about the prorated refund I requested after my claim was denied, nor have I received confirmation of the cancellation of my insurance.
The lack of communication, transparency, and basic support is absolutely unacceptable. I would never recommend this company to anyone. If I could give a rating below zero, I would.
