Terrible experience. The therapist provided contradictory advice and wasted our time and money.

We are both very grateful to Claire for the support we have received during a very difficult time. We have really appreciated her clear and insightful analysis of our situation, and being able to discuss with her the actions we might consider in moving forward. We always come out of a session feeling better than when we went in, and are now making real progress on our journey together.

My wife and I contacted onlinecouplecounselling before divorcing. Sounds dramatic but that’s where we were, in our relationship. We had been together for over forty years and no longer enjoyed each other’s company and were having bitter rows with each blaming the other. Our counsellor Sian quickly identified areas where we were causing each other harm and gave pointers on how we could improve our communication and respect each other’s feelings. We are now in a better place in our marriage than we have ever been or can remember and know this is because of the guidance received from Sian. Needless to say we are extremely grateful for her services and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her and her organisation to anyone seeking help of this nature.

I've tried to get an appointment with a therapist but the prices are ridiculous for online sessions they can at least try and make them cheaper - it would have been easier for me to go direct to one of the marriage counsellors then pay lots in commission to one of these therapists on the website!!!

We were looking for couple therapy to improve our relationship, and we reached out to online couple counselling. Based on the rating on their website and the specific experience we chose Trish! Trish is a great therapist. With her, we explored areas of our relationship that we had not thought about. She guided us on how to understand better each other and communicate more effectively. Over the course of several months we were able to go through and discuss the challenges we have been having and iron them out. Trish was always calm, very understanding and quick at picking up area to discuss. She provided the guidance and help us develop a toolbox for us to progress on our own.
We would absolutely recommend Trish, she is a very experienced therapist!

Kay worked with us with warmth and made us feel at ease from the first session. She was flexible in offering us remote sessions at a time that worked for us around the demands of our young family.

Lorna was very patient and understanding, she guided us through the process so we understood what would happen and what to expect. She took the time to to ask the right questions and was balanced in her comments to both of us, challenging in the right way to extract more information and to get us to open up more fully. we achieved our aims only after a few sessions but could easily have carried on speaking to Lorna as she created a wonderful, safe space to discuss difficult subjects.

Having never had counselling before I was apprehensive and wondered if it would be all self-directed. But Clare is excellent, patient but also tells you both how it is. She's great at holding the mirror up to you and saying 'is this what good behaviour looks like?'.
Taking a step back and going slowly was just what we have needed, when we thought things couldn't get any worse they have started to take a turn for the better. Having someone who knows the whole story, and knows you both, who we can approach any time and work through problems quickly before they become too big to solve is a huge relief, you are never alone once you've got Clare to turn to.

This platform was extremely easy to navigate and we were able to book a slot the next day which was amazing. The prices are reasonable and the counsellor assigned is a perfect fit for us. After decades of our marriage slowly declining into uncommunicative indifference, mostly my refusal to countenance any form of emotional openness, my wife not unreasonably declared our 44 year marriage over. This unleashed a torrent of emotion, regret, guilt, passion, love and we tried for 9 months without support to rebuild things. Only as a last resort did I agree to couples’ therapy, and my wife intuitively chose Tim. You helped us, both together, and separately, with insightful, probing and challenging questions and observations, to consider and discuss what we wanted from our relationship. You never took sides. Having avoided discussing anything meaningful with anyone for 64 years the experience was deeply emotional. I cried a lot, which for a man of my age and upbringing was hugely cathartic and liberating and necessary. I’m sure you’ve seen it all before but you treated us as as you found us, there was no hint we were in some kind of pre-ordained process. The outcome, both for me as a person understanding myself better, and for us as a couple, has been nothing short of miraculous; my grateful thanks to you for the time you spent with us.
