I spent quite some time researching boiler service and repair quotes as my Worcester Bosch boiler is now just 7 years old and out of warranty. The site was so easy to use and as a pensioner I really liked the option to keep my payments the same for 24 months. Lovely to know what I will be paying as most things increase these days every time you look at them! The Trustpilot reviews were very good and the Defaqto 5 star rating plus the ease of signing up were all three important factors in my decision to go with OpenFix

They reply to emails, however they don't follow up without prompting regarding receiving gas safety certificates and automatically changing the new date on their website.

The Engineer came to my property to inspect and service my boiler. He was very polite and respected my property. He did a thorough job, checking everything was in order with my boiler, I heard a bit of knocking and tapping as he worked. He asked me where could he empty some water collection vessel and and clear the filter. He looked in the loft to inspect the flue and then checking the gas meter. I was very impressed with how thorough he was.

Chris came today and was very experience,for all the 10 years that eng came to a yearly service my boiler he is the only one who properly spent time 45 min checking everything others would only spend 10 min max

I was looking for a good boiler Plan and I found Open Fix , the information given was easy to read and understood, I found a good policy which I could afford it was so easy to sign up which I liked I had a Email with information straight away set up a portal so I could see all my details could not fault at all.

Having got details through Moneysupermarket I decided to phone rather than complete online form. Sam was extremely helpful and provided more information than was available on web site. Fingers crossed now I'm covered I don't have any problems.

I was told I could only book my annual service after completing paperwork and then waiting 30 days from the date the paperwork was submitted, not from the date I joined. I joined on 4 June and called on 9 June to book my annual service, but was told I must wait until 9 July.
I asked to at least schedule the appointment for after 9 July, but this was refused. I was told I must call on 9 July to book, even though appointments may be fully booked by then, meaning I could end up waiting even longer — despite my service already being overdue.
For comparison, I called British Gas on 9 June and they booked me in for 15 June immediately. I was shocked that British Gas could do this with no issue, yet OpenFix could not. It leaves a lot of unanswered questions about OpenFix’s processes and customer service.
