The engineer who came to service my boiler as part of my service plan was very polite and prompt. He showed me his identification before he came in and completed the service and left it clean and tidy... See more

I was told I could only book my annual service after completing paperwork and then waiting 30 days from the date the paperwork was submitted, not from the date I joined. I joined on 4 June and called on 9 June to book my annual service, but was told I must wait until 9 July.
I asked to at least schedule the appointment for after 9 July, but this was refused. I was told I must call on 9 July to book, even though appointments may be fully booked by then, meaning I could end up waiting even longer — despite my service already being overdue.
For comparison, I called British Gas on 9 June and they booked me in for 15 June immediately. I was shocked that British Gas could do this with no issue, yet OpenFix could not. It leaves a lot of unanswered questions about OpenFix’s processes and customer service.

I had a first great experience with openfix I do highly recomend this company .They did CP12 and and first boiler service upon my reasonable request to openfix team with in a week after buying a home cover rather than a 30 days notice. Once again I'm thankful to openfix team and their highly qualified and professional engineer who come with in time scale what have agreed .

I can hopefully give 5 stars but l am waiting for boiler service and will review after this is done

My boiler service is due September 2026. Openfix say they cannot service the boiler until May 2027. This will be 20 months which I consider to be unsafe and not recommended. This was not mentioned when I took out the plan. Is there a cooling down period so I can cancel. So much for trying to keep it local.

Basically, We had a leek coming from our toilet waste pipe which started in December 2025, I took a further 7 visits from their plumber over the next 5 months to repair the issue and leave us with a toilet screwed to a plank of wood with warning tape around it because within that time the leek had gotten so bad that the ceiling collapsed and the bathroom floor was damaged. The company that they use for plumbing eventually fixed my ceiling but openfix are now point blank refusing to fix the damage they has caused and I was told by one of their so called customer service staff that it's tough, and my responsibility to repair damage that they cause, as mentioned in the small print.
Asbestos was apparently found under the toilet which they will not deal with and now we're left in this position. I have taken advise from an Asbestos specialist who informs me that the asbestos would of been safe if the repair had been done correctly in the first place and is now.only an issue because their plumber has disturbed it. They will not transfer me to anyone higher in the chain to resolve this and therefore have left me and my family at risk, but they simply don't care .
Absolutely disgusting and they've had the cheek to send.my renewal through now costing me £16 more than I currently pay.
Just be careful with this company

Openfix did a great job at my house, fixing my boiler, although initially they thought it wasn't something covered under the boiler cover.
