Terrible experience applying for a secured car loan and they give very vague and false reasons as to why your application was rejected.

My call had been in the queue for 17 minutes waiting to be answered when I received a text from Zac asking if my query could be assisted via text. I gave the reason for my call and Zac responded immediately to advise he could assist me. He then messaged back within 10 minutes with answers that resolved my query.
This is exlemplary service!!

Way too slow to react and respond. With all the approvals in place and the correct information supplied for settlement, they seemingly go dark. This is 2026. Settlement and transfer of funds should be mere hours. Should be a straightforward process once everything has been satisfied - transfer the funds. Not "moving on to the next stage" like there is something more involved to happen here. You can't call anyone, not unless you're prepared to wait for an eternity on hold. Yet when they're trying to secure your custom, they'll give you a call back in minutes! I'm waiting for settlement and I'll update this review if I feel it's necessary, but up to now, would not recommend.

Zac helped me process my loan and was very helpful and efficient when I needed to settle the loan quicky. Overall had a very positive experience with OMM.

Jen was super helpful and it was a breathe of fresh air to be able to contact her directly as I went through the application.

All the reviews on here are fake. These guys take all your personal information despite having an exceptional credit rating, then offer you the highest rate with extortionate establishment fees — and refuse to even explain why.

Their own terms say you might get an establishment fee based on your credit rating. I told them I wanted a quote based on the information I’d already provided, but they kept pushing for my driver’s licence, bank statements, and access to my private accounts. After handing all of that over, they came back with a terrible rate and fees to match.

Complete waste of time. Avoid.

Absolutely horrible experience. Incredibly poor communication. When I first received a call following my online application for a secured loan, they thought I was asking for a personal loan and had not looked at the quote I was emailed and texted. I then received multiple automatically generated emails asking for different information each time. I would reply to an email with either a question or requested documentation but would later receive another email asking for the documents I had already sent. Multiple times I was promised correspondence within a certain timeframe which was not received. When I spoke to someone for information regarding estimated repayments, I was met with attitude, advising they had already sent this information to me, and misinformation. Apparently 2x fortnightly payments is the same as 1x monthly repayment, who knew that a standard month only has 28 days? When I finally had enough and tried to withdraw my application (after being on hold for over 15 minutes) and expressing how poor the communication had been, they then had the audacity to try and charge me a $150 cancellation fee. DO NOT finance through this company.

A pleasant experience from start to finish

I have found this whole experience very easy and straightforward. I only applied last night and within less than 24 hours, I am pre approved. Elliot was very helpful and outlined the terms of the loan while also giving me time to read through it myself before I had to sign anything. A fantastic experience all round so far. Thanks to Elliot and the team at Our Money Market.

Matt was so friendly and great to deal with. He explained everything very clearly and succinctly. I felt very at ease taking out a sizeable loan through Matt. He put me at ease throughout the whole process.

I spoke with 2 consultants, Matt and Jen they were incredibly helpful and were happy to use text as I work full time and find it hard to get away for a call. Fantastic, quick service, and I now have a huge stress off my shoulders with all my little lines of credit rolled into one simple payment!

The OMM team was amazing, I had accidentally input my mobile number wrong when I was applying in a bit of a rush and once I got through to the customer service team within minutes the error was fixed and at my request I was transferred to the loan department to check on the progress of getting a loan, Matt explained everything I needed to know, helped me understand the details of my potential loan, and then helped me with all the application requirements and procedures.

They helped me any time I needed it. Amazing service.

I was on hold for awhile someone by the name of Zach messaged me. Asked me if he could help me with anything. I’ll let him know what I wanted and he got back to me within the time and is following up my inquiry so I was very happy with his service.
