Michael McGiven is truly a blessing to the industry. I say this because with my project he was very responsive and operated with the highest level of integrity. Throughout our project we requested for him to make adjustments regarding the ring design. Each step of the way he demonstrated patience that made us feel very comfortable in ultimately designing a ring that satisfied our desires. He remained transparent throughout the project. Our final design was thousands of dollars less than the original ring we had him design for our wedding. However, he maintained a very good and professional attitude. His demeanor never changed. Michael is a humble professional that delivers the old school true meaning of of good customer service. I truly look forward to working with him on future projects. In conclusion I would highly recommend Michael to anyone looking for superior customer service.

This is our second purchase, 13 years after the first, with an upgrade on our diamond. Mike was extremely helpful and answered emails promptly, with attentin to detail. The whole process was terrific, I would definitely recommend McGivern Diamonds as the place to shop!

This was my 3rd purchase from McGivern Diamonds and consisted of a custom eternity ring with both diamonds and emeralds. I received answers to all my questions along with expert advice within hours of my inquiry via e-mail (and this was on a holiday weekend!). McGivern Diamonds is a great company to do business with. I have worked through them twice now to explore diamond options and use their expertise to select the right one for me. I trust Michael's recommendations and I am fully satisfied with the two I have purchased. I especially appreciated their support with all the calls and emails this time around as I was purchasing the diamond for my father, who doesn't use computers and kept changing his mind on the delivery location. I was quite skeptical to buy a diamond online but I didn’t want to spend money for overpriced diamond at the local jewelry store. My coworker told me about McGivern. She bought 2 diamonds from them before and she was very pleased, so I started my research… I checked about 9 online stores and McGivern’s prices were the best (even salesmen from the local jewelry store said that Mr. McGivern has wholesale prices, and that jewelry stores will never match it).
I found 4 diamonds I liked based on the specification and then Mr. McGivern helped me decide which one I should buy. I went from 1ct to 0.77ct to save some money on size but I got better quality of the stone. I was afraid that it will look small, but I received it yesterday and it is just perfect. The diamond is so shiny I do not see any difference from 1ct. Mike was very helpful during entire process. I sent him about 10 emails asking about the quality and what to look for in a good diamond. He always answered my questions very quickly and I feel now I know so much about diamonds I can work at the jewelry store 

Initially, I was very apprehensive about spending thousands of dollars on a diamond purchased on the internet however since working with Michael, I will never again buy from anyone other than Michael McGivern. He went well beyond my expectations even to the point that I felt bad about him putting so much time into helping me choose the right diamond and the right setting for my wife. This may have been one of the most positive experiences I've had buying anywhere.

I've been shopping around for a loose diamond for over 2 years and finally did my purchase with Mike McGivern. Being that I was shopping for a diamond that is over 2 carat, I was very cautious and selective with the websites I visit, making sure that they are legit and trustworthy. I visited numerous websites and contacted a few of them. Ultimately, I went with McGivern because Mike gave me the best price. My stone & its GIA cert came within a week of my purchase and I brought it into a local GIA certified gemologist who confirmed it as stated on the GIA certificate. It is a beautiful stone and I am very happy and satisfied with the purchase I made with Mike. My purchase transaction online went smoothly and merchandise was received very quickly. I had been dealing with Mr. McGivern for a few months off and on trying to pick out my engagement ring. He was very patient with me even though I know I was at times a difficult customer. In the end I picked out a diamond and ring that fit my budget and exceeded my expectations. Once the ring arrived it came with all paper work certified by GIA and looked AMAZING...better than the pictures. I could not be more happy with my purchase or the customer service I received from Mr. McGivern. My husband purchased my diamond from Mike 12 years ago. That's when buying expensive items on the internet still made you nervous. Everything was perfect.

Last week I contacted Mike about upgrading my diamond to 2x the current size. He offered a very reasonable trade-in price for my diamond which helped me get a bigger stone. I sent both my engagement ring and wedding ring to make sure everything fit together and also size both rings down by .5. Once he got the rings he notified me that he would need to replace the entire prong set which meant cutting part of my ring out. I was super nervous but based on my previous experience and the reviews I trusted he would do his very best. Over the course of a week Mike kept me updated and responded quickly to all my emails. I got my rings yesterday and they are so beautiful. I didn't think they would be as gorgeous as they are. My husband is very pleased too. I wish I could attach a picture so you could see for your self. Thank you Mike!!

I called in on a Saturday looking for a little advice as I had never purchased any diamonds or rings before. Unfortunately Michael was not in at the time I called but I received a lot of good information from the person who took my call, but was also advised to email Michael direct as I had a few more specific questions. He replied to me promptly and we continued to email back and forth Saturday, Sunday, and Monday until I was sure that I had the perfect Diamond and the perfect ring. He was more than willing to give me his opinions on things I was looking at and make recommendations that ended up being moreso what I was looking for, yet cost me less money. That is a sign of someone who stands for more than just the final dollar, but more for the service and making sure that I had exactly what I was looking for. I would recommend McGivern to ANYONE looking for High quality Diamonds and Rings at a very reasonable price and service that will blow anyone out of the water.

I wish there was more than just 5 stars because Mike is absolutely amazing, and the quality of the product is second to none. Needless to say I was a bit tense getting everything lined up for the big surprise, and Mike went out of his way to help where he could (options, shipping, etc.). My wife designed and bought a ring from Michael about 3 years ago. This past summer it was either lost or stolen while on vacation. She was devastated as we did not have it insured. I decided as a Christmas present I would surprise her by replacing it. I contacted Michael and he had all the info on the lost ring. Not only was he able to replace it almost identically but he also gave me a very fair price and it was delivered in less than a week. No question I would buy another ring from him in fact wouldn't even think of looking elsewhere. His prices are so good that it appraised for almost 3 times what we paid for the original. Don't feel any hesitation in buying from this company online sight unseen.
