Very bad Internet

Very bad Internet. I have to take online classes and as soon as my class starts signals drop and I am not able to take the class due to bad signals.

Sorry to hear about your issues. Could it be that you are connected through WIFI? We only recommend the service/speed over ethernet cable. This is because there could be factors outside of our control that might affect the WIFI-signal.

For example: The layout on your residence, how thick the walls are, the router you are using (It is the router that sends out the WIFI-signal, not the broadband operator), network card in your computer and so on.

Please try to directly connect your computer to the fiber outlet and see if this works better for you. Then you will know if the issue is in the broadband service itself or the router you are using.

You can also contact our technical support for more help with this. We can not really help you through Trustpilot.

Truly a scam company

Truly a scam company.

I rent 1 apartment second hand.
I keep paying and paying and the bills keeps coming, I try to contact them to ask what is the problem. They tell me I by accident payed the same bill 2 times and because of that they send my case to inkasso. I tell them you already have the money because I payed the same bill to times so maybe they could use that money to cover the apparently unpaid bill. Or send it back so I can use it to pay, they refuse that and suddenly I don't have to pay inkasso only the fee for inkasso opening the case. I pay it next month I get inkasso warning again? And now it happens again this month due because they did not use the payment from first time. Even though they told me they would so I keep having to pay inkasso fees because they keep making the same mistake. And to top this bad service they stop even send me the bills by mail? Stay away from this company, if you dont pay your bills before the 1 of the month they will send you in inkasso and the amount will be double...

I'm very sorry to hear that you had a bad experience with us.

When an invoice has been overpaid, a value check is sent out via post automatically.
Because a value check has been sent, the money is no longer in our system and therefor we can't transfer the overpaid amount to the unpaid invoice.

Have you accidentally made the payment to the previous invoice's OCR, the current invoice stays unpaid. We always send 2 reminders before the invoice is sent to inkasso.

During use

During use, sometimes I suddenly feel that the network is disconnected, and after a while the network is restored again. I don’t know what happened.

Took forever (more than four days) to…

Took forever (more than four days) to get through to customer service - no reply to web form submission and on the phone there were always around 20 people ahead of me in the queue. A technician was booked to contact me and never did, so I had to follow up myself, again. The email conversation with the technician company felt very passive aggressive. When I suggested that they communicate with the landlord directly since they needed access to the building switch and the landlord apparently had a technician from the technician company on site, there was no reply at all from the technician company. Days later, a technician called me saying they were at my door because we had a booked appointment - but said appointment was NEVER confirmed to me from the technician company; again, only radio-silence and unwillingness to communicate. All in all it took over a week to fix the broken line - and this was purely by chance because the on-site technician fixed it, otherwise it would have taken another four days. The only reason this is two stars and not one is because the employee at the ownit customer service hotline was very friendly and tried his best to help me. Incredibly bad service experience.

Customer service

Firstly, I am not a customer of ownit. However I contacted them via email & via their formula on their website to ask advice on pricing & delivery to my location. I received absolutely no reply to any of my messages, not even an auto response. I wondered how difficult it would be to get an answer from them if I was a customer & had a problem. Decided against even trying to use this provider, as they don't seem serious or have good customer relations.

The connection works but my support questions go unanswered. I want to access some advanced options like port forwarding, but I can't find a FAQ article, or get a response. Questions asked over a month ago.

Internet not working, no response from Ownit

I hired the service one week ago and I still could not connect to the internet. I have not received an answer in a week since my message, and I tried calling but it is not possible to communicate.

EDIT: Eventually I could contact them over the phone on a Saturday and solved the issue. It could have been so much easier if they had answered my message or if they had more people at customer support for attending calls.

We are facing issues of wifi

We are facing issues of wifi, as the routeur installed is over 10 years old.
After managing to reach customer service 3 time, I received 3 different feedbacks:
- First time: "Of course, we are going to send you a new routeur"
- Second time "Yes, the routeur is on its way, it is Postnord fault"
- 3rd time "It is impossible for you to receive a new routeur, you have to buy one at your expense and install it in bridge mode"

Despise the fact that having to buy a routeur, because Ownit does not want to replace an equipment that has been installed in 2013, the mix messages and very poor communication has led us to wait 3 weeks without being able to use wi-fi, while still paying Ownit as a provider.

Customer service is helpful but I’m not receiving the minimum speed that is contracted which is 700mb/s.

Could it be that you are connected through WIFI and not through cable? We only guarantee the internet speed through ethernet cable, not WIFI. This is because there can be some outside factors that might affect the WIFI-signal. This could be the layout in your residence, how thick the walls are, what kind of router you are using (It is the router that sends out the WIFI-signal), and the network card in your computer.

Please connect your computer directly to the fiber outlet with an ethernet cable (With the CAT-6 classificiation) and do a speed test. If you are not achieving a higher result, then please contact us so that we can troubleshoot your service.

Most of times my speed is much less than what I pay for.
Down speed is between0.45 to0.6 Mb
Up speed is between 4.20 to 5.8 Mb
I am thinking of leaving this provider

Super terrible customer service and internet

Super terrible customer service. Super low and instable internet speed. two years calling from us, testing internet speed very low, disconnections during meeting, receiving 30Mbs-110Mbs according to several measurements (different computers, direct to router, ...) while paying for 1000Mbs. many experience the same, just google it.
What surprises me is that they only deny, sitting in their office cant more their bot to come and check. Everything looks good from here. hate it, apparently I am not alone.

Restarting our subscription

We had to stop our subscription to your service, because we had to leave our house while it was being rebuild after a fire. When we wanted to restart the subscription, first a co-worker of yours, which I am sure was following the rules by the book, told us that we will be treated like a new customer and had to have a 2 years bidningstid. After few weeks, we talked to a much more helpful person, who restarted our service without any bidningstid (we are very happy with your service and don't intend to switch providers as long as we live here, but we did not like to be treated as if we were new customers). now, we are very happy.

During last two years always they deny any problem and still do. Check your speed with for example bredbandskollen.se. Your technician came today 18 sep. after two years of complaining, changed the router, still the same: 80Mbs. I am super surprised why ownit always deny this.

Sorry to hear about your technical issues. You should of course receive an higher result with the 1000 Mbit service. Unfortunately i do not have access to your specific errand through Trustpilot, but have you double checked that the ethernet cable you are using has the classification CAT-6?

Please try to also connect the computer directly to the fiber outlet with an ethernet cable, please try without the router connected, just the cable directly to the fiber outlet. I'm sure that you will experience an higher result. Therefore the issue could be in the ethernet cable or the router you are using.

I can inform you that we only guarantee the speed over cable, not WIFI. This is because it is the router you are using that sends out the WIFI-signal, not Ownit. The WIFI-signal can also be affected by factors outside our control, such as the layout in your residence, where the router is placed, the network card in your computer and so on.

My recommendation is that you connect your computer directly to the fiber outlet with an ethernet cable (with the classification CAT-6) and then do a new speed check. I'm convinced that you will receive an higher result. You can also purchase a router with the WIFI-6 classification.
