Initially had a quote from Octopus but was recommended to get a quote from P4 Solar and I am so glad we did! Double the panels (20 vs 10) and the same battery storage (10 kW) for £2000 less than Octopus quoted. Dealing with P4 Solar has been stress free and they even accommodated a delay (caused by Octopus fitting a heat pump later than planned) that meant it took 2 days instead of one. Oli, Jamie, Ben and James were all great and very happy with the end result. Cannot recommend P4 Solar highly enough.

Once again, the after sales service from P4 Solar was absolutely first class. Panels and batteries have been fitted for over 2 years now, I recently changed my broadband provider and had a configuration issue (memory laps), 10 minute call with Justin and all was sorted. 👍

Coming from a total novice on the solar front, and with an old house I’d assumed it wasn’t for me. One quick discussion with Olly at P4 changed all that. Customer care all the way. Held my hand (figuratively speaking) throughout and when it came to installation, it was all quick, seamless and between James, Ben and Jamie the finished product looked superb - I can thoroughly recommend the team at P4! Impressive kit already paying for itself too.

We had a great experience using P4. They are great to deal with, everything from the original site visits to installation and set up of the PV system was perfect. We also thought they offered the best value system overall because of the efficiency of the solar panels they use. Highly recommended

Couldn’t be happier with P4 solar. They are an absolute delight to deal with. Superb communication from start to finish and everything is handled extremely professionally and Peter and Fred are extremely helpful and approachable. The installation was seamless. Special mention to James (electrician) and Jackson and Declan (roofers) - three really nice guys; polite and professional and very tidy! We have a few commercial buildings and will not hesitate to ask P4 to do the solar install on these properties and happily recommend them to friends and family.

P4 have Superb customer service - the team are very quick to communicate and you don’t feel like you have transacted with a company, but entered into a partnership arrangement.

The quality of product is exceptional and you know that the people at the end of the phone or in front of you are not just selling you a product and service, but truly believe in what they are doing.

please use P4 and avoid going to through the big companies, their much much more expensive and impersonal.

We had a very positive outcome with our solar and battery installation. Fred was very responsive from our first contact onwards and guided us to the right solution.

The installation team was very professional and also quick. The whole job was completed in less than two days. Since then our system has worked without any issues and has exceeded our expectations with respect to power generation.

I think our experience illustrated the benefit of working with a local provider focused on customer care.

From the first time speaking to Peter I knew that P4 were the right company for me.

Other companies had been vague, pushy or just not got back to me but Peter was open and honest in our phonecall and explained everything in detail and clearly.

We have had 20 Panels installed a 5Kw inverter and 10kw of batteries for a very competetive price and the install was very quick and tidy, very happy with the whole experience and would 100% reccomend using P4.

Can’t fault the professionalism, customer service or workmanship of P4. They made the whole process from quote to installation to technical support totally stress free and smooth. All my queries were answered promptly and I genuinely felt appreciated as a customer. The quality of the workmanship is excellent and nothing was too big an ask for Fred and the team. Their quote was also very competitive in comparison to other solar installers in my local area.

Due to problems with my building contractor the PV installation from start to finish took over 18 months. Throughout this period the company remained attentive and professional and went over and above what i would have expected to ensure they helped me through this difficult process.

Absolutely first rate.

P4 installed a couple of years ago but what has been impressive is the post installation support - from advice about battery set up as well as best deals for power provider. I changed WiFi provider recently which needed a new “dongle” for the inverter - all handled with little fuss and Justin talking me through the set-up early evening which he was happy to do to suit me. He was very helpful, knowledgeable and generally a pleasure to deal with.

I'm leaving this review after having a fully complete, end-to-end solar installation from P4 — and I couldn't be happier.

From the start, P4 were on the ball. They provided detailed information to support my initial enquiry and quickly followed up with multiple assessments for different options on my roof — all with zero sales pressure. The time and care they gave to answering my questions was incredibly reassuring.

Nothing was too much trouble. No question was dismissed, no concern ignored. Every schedule was met down to the second, and every promise fulfilled.

We did experience some minor damage — a few thin roof tiles cracked, and a drainpipe was hit by the scaffold (to be expected with works like these) — but both were sorted on the same day with no fuss at all.

The system itself feels solid and high quality, and I have full confidence in the warranties provided by both P4 and Hanchu.

The handover pack deserves special mention. It's not just a formality — it's a work of art. Detailed, comprehensive, and thoughtfully prepared, it gives me everything I’d need to run or even pass on the system if I ever sold the house. SEG application was so simple with everything in the pack. That level of detail shows the time and care they've invested in their process!

Also worth noting are P4's industry recognitions and insurances — both for the work itself and for financial deposits. These often-overlooked details really underline the quality and professionalism they bring to the table.

Based on my personal experience, I received a high-quality installation delivered with genuine care for both the customer and the property. P4 should be incredibly proud of their team and the service they offer.

We had a very positive experience in all our dealings with P4 Solar. From initial contact, to planning the installation and carrying out the work required to install 22 Viridian panels and then to receiving continuing advice after completion, the contact and communication was excellent and always inspired confidence in the knowledge and abilities of the team. P4 Solar were helpful from our first contact with them. They did a proper site survey to assess what would be suitable for our house and we were given clear explanations. There was no sales pressure. The team who fitted the panels and associated electrics worked efficiently and left everything tidy. We were given a clear account of how the system worked. At all stages we have been able to speak to individuals at the firm when we had queries. We would not hesitate to recommend them.
