As many have mentioned there isn’t any pressure or hard selling - just friendly, professional advice and guidance. After contacting them for a quote, the team were quick to volunteer an on-site, no obligation survey of the house.

The installation itself was smooth and stress-free. Everybody was timely, friendly and tidy. Always keeping you informed of any changes - which were always improvements they could make once they were in progress.

We were recommended P4 Solar and had many questions efficiently answered by Fred whilst we waited for our Off-peak electric supply to be connected. From survey through to installation the process was very professional and quick. So far the savings by adding batteries to our solar panels are looking very good.

From my initial meeting with Peter to discuss our system through to the handover, everything was very professional. The job was clean and tidy, everything we discussed this company did. Our solar and battery system is working very well. The service doesn't stop when the system is up and running, this company advises you on tariffs and are there to discuss and help with any questions or queries you may have.

From first contact with Fred to completion of the solar/battery installation P4 were nothing but professional. All solar/battery options were explained prior to committing to the installation, a simple site survey by the P4 team and a couple of weeks later P4 turned up bang on time on the day of the installation to commence works. The various teams worked like clockwork to complete the installation by mid afternoon. Great communications at all times and the support and advice continues post install to help me make the most out of my system. Would recommend P4 to anyone wanting a solar set up on their home or business. Thanks

So I don't leave many reviews only generally when it's at either end of the spectrum.
From my first contact with P4 I've been dealt with in a friendly, professional manner.
I view myself as having a good level of knowledge on solar/inverter/battery systems, the team at P4 worked this out and we're happy to get more technical, however they didn't offer the option I was wanting and explained why. I went with the solution the team came up with and placed the order. Within 2 days of paying for the goods they were on my doorstep.
Fred was a real pleasure to deal with, hope the weather improves a bit so you can get some golf in Fred !!

Met Peter at the Harrogate home building show early November. Very polite & helpful and never felt any sales pressure during our conversation which was a good start. We received an initial email asking if we’d like them to quote for us, again no pressure. All communication was professional from start to finish. Fred answered all our questions promptly and put us at ease.

Arranged for the install early January but during the scaffold build, the scaffolder went through the roof (sore knee, no serious injury, thankfully). Unfortunately the batons weren’t in a good state, but this was no problem for P4 Solar, the following day, their roofers were on the job and replaced all the rotten batons and felt, all at a reasonable cost. The install went ahead as soon as roof was fixed. From start to finish 3 1/2 days everything completed.

The install roofers were a great bunch and a credit to the company, with a good work ethic. The electrician James, did a great job fitting the Inverter & Battery where we wanted it. Everything was completed to a high standard and left clean and tidy by all.

Post install, P4 Solar have provided us with all necessary documents and advice on energy suppliers.

I would recommend P4 Solar to anyone thinking about having solar panels installed. Such a pleasure to deal with. Thank you Peter, Fred & Justin for looking after us so well.

We were guided through the process initially by Peter and then then had regular updates from both Freddie Maddocks and Justin Hewitt.The work was carried out in an extremely professional manner and at speed and the handover pack was delivered to the Club. P4 Solar completed all necessary paperwork and obtained confirmation of eligibility from Northern Powergrid, prior to the installation of the solar panels and in addition provided us with all required Certificates.

Tremendous experience from start to finish. Peter’s initial meeting and survey really made us feel we were in safe hands and, following receipt of quotes and a few reservations I had answered, his recommendations were exactly what we ended up with.
The installation went like clockwork. The scaffold went up and the very next day the 16 panels were on the roof in the blink of an eye.
We had two batteries and the inverter wall mounted in the loft space so no interference at all. Same for the additional consumer unit in the garage.
The electrician was very thorough and despite a few technical hitches he made sure all was working before he left. He also gave me a comprehensive tour of the Lux App that controls the system and gives all the information on solar input, battery storage, household consumption and export to the grid you could wish for.
The aftercare is also great. Justin followed up with the required documentation and Fred helped with the SEG application and also chased our DNO (Network provider) who were very slow to say the least. They even advise on best rates being offered by energy suppliers as they arise so no need for comparison sites.
I would have no hesitation in recommending P4 Solar. Very professional outfit and do what they say they are going to do on time.

Excellent company to deal with, professional, high quality workmanship and every part of the project was managed well.
All follow up and paperwork was also obtained along with advice on getting the best out of the installed system.

A very supportive set up from first enquiry to installation and handover. Family run company really do feel like a valued customer. Detailed conservative estimates on the savings of solar. No question or amendment was a challenge and without pressure at all the journey from enquiry to installation was rapid. The installation took just a day, minimising disruption and left no trace on leaving. Very happy.

Great service from P4 solar from start to finish. We had loads of question prior to the installation that were always answered promptly and in lots of detail. Nice, tidy installation with a special mention for James the electrician who managed a particularly tricky cable run from the roof without disturbing existing decorated areas. After-sales service has also been really good - app setup, firmware updates, follow-up questions and a bit of remedial work after the scaffolding came down have all been sorted very quickly. Would not hesitate to recommend.
